Well at first it was fine until I got home and what a nightmare dam alarm was going off all freaking night by day 3 I got a warning ticket from the police department went back week 2 same result then horn burned out from the alarm payed $160 for a new air horn then it burned out because of the alarm week 3 new horn it burned out 6 hours later very bad product I payed $600 for the remote starter and alarm to have nothing but problems totally frustrating

The install went seamless and the product works flawless. What more could you ask for. I highly recommend compustar and the proximity sensor is fantastic.

The one thing I wanted when I purchased a new vehicle was remote start and of course, the 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport LE I picked out did not come with it. The dealer said I could purchase it extra to have it installed, so I said ok and I went with the 2 way system. Just a week later I had the 2WR3R-FM installed at the dealer. My vehicle was picked up and returned at my workplace, so I didn't get to speak with the installer at all. I was left a TINY little manual. I mean SMALL. One 3" x 4" square printed front and back. It said I could download a full manual online - I tried but it was the same thing!

The remote starter does what it is supposed to do, it starts my vehicle remotely but it has disabled my passive locking system. My vehicle also now does not automatically lock when I start driving. I don't like the one button system - holding for 1, 2, 3 seconds. Maybe I should blame the dealership, but had I known I'd have this and my original key with the lock, unlock buttons, etc, and still be confused by it all nearly a month later I surely would have paid more for a better system. All this and my back hatch still doesn't open by itself lol. I have a lifetime warranty and plan to keep this vehicle for a long time and I'm pretty disappointed with the remote starter I have.

Lastly the Drone system they also installed with the remote start. No one asked me. The app is kind of cool, but the widget hardly ever works, the app ALWAYS says the vehicle is unlocked even when it isn't, and it's only free for the first month and then you have to pay monthly to start your car with the app, etc. If you don't, you still have the Drone thing in your car.

I had a Viper system in the early 2000s that was fancier, reliable, and easier to use than this system 20 years later.

so far very good system ,i like being able to track on my phone , lock and unlock from phone ,,only thing Best Buy is not that Good.

Great product. Works seamlessly with my Q7, antenna is barley visible from inside the vehicle, the factory fob was programmed to start with 3x press of the lock button and also came with two way fobs with excellent range. Couldn’t ask for more out of a remote starter system.

Just okay. Shock sensor is on max sensitivity and not very sensitive. Remote start will not work from inside the house.

Best investment I've made in a long time. Easy to use, and it's so nice to be able to start my car before I leave the building at work and it's already starting to cool down. It's going to be even nicer this winter!

This is our 3rd Compustar equipped vehicle. We have two with remote start/alarms and one with alarm only. They all have the two way key fob and they only problem was age. The fob battery will eventually wear out (10 years) and I was able to get a replacement and all is good again.
