In the Blue Corner...Steve The Conman Grant

Its a real shame when making a review that you are forced to pick 1 star at least because this man doesnt deserve even that... the excuses to why he cant attend to you will be from, children in hospital (which is sickening as hes full of horse crap), his cars broke down which seems to happen alot, (my advice pal is scrap that car lol,) hes in hospital himself, hes away on a course.... its got to the point where im expecting him to message saying "hes dead" DO NOT TRUST THIS BLOKE!!! he will lie and rob you blind, KEEP WELL CLEAR!!! He will make false promises and take your system and not replace it or will promise to get parts to you and you will never recieve them!!!

Computer solutions wales, Steve Grant

This company and it's owner, Steve Grant, should be avoided at all cost! He too my computer to repair and took my money for a new computer and has not delivered either back to me. He has given every excuse under the sun and now will not answer my calls. Trading Standards Pembrokeshire have had many, many complaints about him. He has many addresses. The one he currently uses is an office block in Swansea. My daughter arranged to meet him there to austensibly take her computer for him to fix. He did not show up.
Don't go anywhere near him.

Flags negative reviews and fights to…

Flags negative reviews and fights to get the removed for wild reasons. Their true score is considerably lower than what it actually is on here - bear that in mind.

My last one was removed for being 'dangerous'.

Its laughable really. What an absolute joke.

Couldn’t ask for more

Travelled 2 hours all the way over to merthyr Tydfil to help resolve an issue with my computer not working.

Diagnosed the issue on site and provided resolutions. Would recommend to everyone!

So I am not the only dissatisfied customer

Having seen other reviews on here I realise that my issues with this organisation back in August were not an isolated experience.
As others have also commented, I also was without my laptop for months. I could fill 4 pages or more of A4 with the sorry saga, but suffice to say that, along with many personal things, I was without all my teaching resources, all the research and slides for an important presentation, and all my accounts. This caused so many problems and cost me so much time and money. I ended up buying a new laptop from Currys and spent days and nights re creating about six months worth of work to meet a tight deadline. We were given a laptop on loan (after I bought the new one) and then they wanted to charge us rent for it!
All our correspondence was met with lies, lies and more lies. eg. He was in hospital, the engineer had had a heart attack, another engineer had gone off to London with no notice, The landlord had locked him out of the shop,( I wonder why?) he was away on a training course, he was hungover, they were waiting on parts, The agency engineers has let him down, the van had broken down.......apart from alien abduction or a meteorite landing on High Street and vaporising his shop he ran out of excuses and refused to talk to me and blocked me on social media. Incompetent and dishonest, and absolutely no moral conscience. He has twice been served with a notice by HMRC to be struck off and his accounts are overdue since 2022. (This information is in the public domain) Disgraceful and unprofessional practice.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company. They have taken payment and are refusing to return my laptop. I have exhausted all reasonable attempts to engage with them over a period of several weeks. Every time I am able to get in touch, they are "busy", "will call back" or promise the laptop will be delivered "today" or "tomorrow" - but it never comes.

The list of excuses for being unable to return the laptop includes (but is not limited to): the delivery van caught fire, I am in hospital, I am on a flight, my child is in hospital, I am up a ladder, I am in a meeting, my delivery driver is 4 stops away, I am paying the delivery drive overtime to ensure it arrives today.

it is clear from other reviews on Google and other websites, that this is happening to a number of different people.

This is the second review I have posted, the company demanded the first was taken down in return for the laptop (which again, never arrived).
