what an absolute joke for a company - brochures with no prices at all! not even a guide price so arrange a valuation appointment ! guy wont come out unless my husband is here as well - i am making the decision and paying for it but still wont come out until the man is here as well!!!!!!!!! what a stupid sexist idea in this day and age!!!!!! would rather pay double and go elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Addition to earlier complaint.

I managed to get into upstairs rooms and looked down on the glass canopy that Crocodile / Continental Installations Limited have erected at my premises.

After looking down at the holders for the blinds it is blatantly obvious that the glass canopy project is totally out of alignment and not even square with my own premises.

At one end the gap from the wall to on the left blind is approximately 30mm at the other end the gap is 80mm or more on the right blind. The fitters were fully aware of their error and hoped that someone who is of a senior age and disabled would not notice their error let alone make a complaint about the matter. When you can see daylight from under the canopy looking up there is something seriously wrong.

In fact it was down on the fitters list to check when they made a fleeting visit and of course they ignored it as they could never ever rectify the problem. The only way the problem can be rectified is to pull the whole construction down and start again this time measuring correctly.

I considered my own veranda was square and I told the fitters as they were erecting the project that it seemed out of line but of course they took no notice at all!! My Veranda is in fact square with my property and the fitters never even bothered checking measurements at all. They hoped it would be alright without checking diagonal measurements or checking my own veranda to get alignment.

They have actually stated in writing that all the supporting posts have to be removed when in fact only the incorrectly positioned one needs to be removed. Well that is what I thought at the time. Well after seeing that the canopy is not square today at all then of course ALL the posts HAVE to be removed so Crocodile were aware of their error yet they omitted to tell me and expected me to pay for their error!!

The construction was not as purchased at all and they require me to pay them £10,000.00 for them to rectify their error. They even ignore Trading Regulations and Section 75 in particular, Goods that do not meet customers satisfaction. They are supposed to rectify the problem at no charge.

Section 2. I have not required any changes to any of the Contracts 4223, 4224 & 4231 and I have NOT put anything in writing agreeing to any changes. The glass canopy has not been constructed to my wishes or as laid out in the contracts.

Section 3. Crocodile should NOT have attempted to build the construction as they now say it is NOT feasible to do so and therefore should have refunded the deposit as per their T’s and C’s.

Section 5. Crocodile has breached the contract by not completing or even having the products to complete the job. Leaving me with an incomplete build for many months.

There is also a possible defective blind IF the construction is square, if it is not then the construction needs to be rebuilt. Crocodile dragging their heels on this. Blind missing also as mentioned in other documentation

Section 8. Substandard workmanship. 8.2 Crocodile has requested that I breach the contract under this section by getting “Others” to do work on their installation. Are Crocodile intimating that they are not professional enough to do this job as they have already ignored the trunking. This confirms that Crocodile should have NOT started the job in the first place and refunded my deposit.

They will just ignore you intentionally to cause you additional problems, anxiety and distress. This is NOT the practice of a reputable company.
