After using a comparison site I got quotes through for conveyancing. I was bombarded by all companies and this one was no exception so expect texts, phone calls and emails but everyone was the same and it is clearly a competitive market!
I called Andy back to go through the quote, he was kind, professional and patient as I wanted to be clear what the quote included and what it all meant. He went through everything in detail, answered all my questions and gave sound advice without being pushy, which would have put me off. He wasn't clear if we were going with his company to begin with but still gave us his time and knowledge. He definitely put me at ease as every quote I had was broken down differently making the process confusing. Once we went ahead he sent all the details through and again went through everything in the confirmation including an explanation who they were and which part now goes to the solicitors in Rugeley (who I thought we were dealing with as their name is on the quote but didn't realise to begin with that is goes through this external company first).
As we signed up today this review is only for Andy in the New Enquiries Team, who was fantastic. I wish we could deal with him all the way through and can only hope we are treated like we were today moving forward (as I hear a lot of horror stories about solicitors, conveyancing and the stress of buying a house.)
