Shutters took ages to come but the installation was quick and well finished. The installer was really friendly and tidy. Product looks great installed.

The end result is wonderful. Our lounge bay looks fantastic and we are so pleased we went for full height and not cafe style as we originally thought. It’s has added the finishing touch to our newly decorated lounge. Thanks for all you advice with everything and we’ve already recommended you to our neighbour.

We have just had our shutters installed by Matt and they look fantastic, better than we ever imagined. The quality is excellent and we’ve noticed almost immediately how much warmer the rooms are. We will definitely be back to do more rooms in the new year. They were later than anticipated but worth the wait. Thanks very much.

I ordered my shutters on the 14th February 2022, they were fitted approximately 16th June. Parts were missing and the bedroom emergency opening window was fitted incorrectly. I contacted them and was told all would be put right in 8 weeks. It’s now December and have still not received any contact. Thankfully I did not pay the outstanding amount, I would advise anybody to do the same. Terrible company do not use.

Overall really happy with the quality and fit of our lovely new shutters! Price was good and competitive! Communication was good from a sales point, however there lacked communication/updates during the waiting period from paying the deposit to shutters arriving. Customer service could have been a bit better as I had to email and call to chase to see firstly if they had arrived and also to arrange fitting. The lad who came to fit them was great, couldn’t fault and did a really good job installing :)

The best if it the mama age ment called me to see what I think of the service when I told him that I’m still waiting for them to finish them his reply was I will definitely look into it and promise it will be sorted 4 months in still waiting they make you pay before fitting now I know why absolutely rubbish customer service

I am pleased to say that I am delighted with both the product and the service received from Cool Shutters.
The initial sales and survey visit was comfortable and unpressured. The product, in my case plantation shutters, were shown to me as samples, the composition of which was explained to me.
I received my quote there and then. No toing and froing with "the boss" for discounts etc that I had experienced from other suppliers. The price was acceptable, not the lowest I'd had, nor the highest but the quality of the product was superior to others I had seen (all wood, no MDF) and so I placed the order, which had a 12 week lead time.
The delivery time was delayed by a couple of weeks but this was due to congestion at the docks and not the fault of Cool Shutters. I was kept up to date with the progress of my order.
When my shutters arrived I received a phone call and a fitting date was arranged.
The quality of the product was matched by the quality of the installation, right down to the very neat beads of sealant surrounding the frame. I am truly delighted with them and they look fantastic on my bay window. I can thoroughly recommend cool blinds and will not hesitate to do repeat business with them in future.

Unacceptable customer service. Never phone for update on when the shutters arriving. I have keep contacting them an they saying they will call me since August 2022 to October 2022 they still saying they will call me.
No communication from anyone at all.
Caleb and David useless never gets back to me. It’s disappointing and disgusting they way they ignoring me as customers who placed order and pay deposit

Superb company, from start to finish!

The quote was reasonable (I collected several different bids for shutters), the materials are nice, and their agent helped me select the color / finish that would work well with my decor.

They kept me informed with updates and answered my queries - they even stored the finished shutters while my flat was redecorated.

Today the new shutters were installed - they are beautiful!

1) Value for money: excellent.
2) Craftsmanship: excellent.
3) Installation: excellent.

I am very happy with my new shutters. The process was easy from the first contact, to the measuring survey to the installation. Everyone that I dealt with at Cool Shutters was polite, friendly and professional and most importantly did an excellent job.
The shutters look great and I love the control they give you over the light in your home. Very useful when a heatwave hits! I would recommend them to people without hesitation.

We've just had bay window café style shutters fitted to our front, dining room and bedroom windows. From the first visit from the surveyor to delivery and installation it was very smooth indeed. The surveyor, David, was much more informative and knowledgeable than other companies we invited to quote. Also, his final quote was the best we had. The fitter has just left after working here for several hours. The end product is beyond our expectations. Thoroughly recommend them for the quality of their product, the quality of installation and their competitive pricing. So pleased we went with Cool Shutters. Thank you.

What an absolute disaster. Mine was quite a large order, 14 shutters some of which are quite large. To start with the shutters took over a year to arrive but to fair covid restrictions were in place so if this was only issue it could of course easily be forgiven – unfortunately this was only just the start of the nightmare – now 20+ months on I still do not have fitting shutters and I am left with no option other than legal action which seems to be a bit of a common thread for many of the unfortunates like myself who trusted Cool Shutters.
David Waxman came to do the initial survey and he did seem above board and professional, he can certainly talk the talk. When the first shutters arrived around a year after the order was placed the fit on 6 of the eleven shutters was horrendous with gaps between the wall and shutter frame more than 20mm on several units (see attached pictures). An arched window for which I had provided a perfect template was out by 75mm and the radius was completely out. Beading that is supposed to provide a seal from one closing shutter to the one next to it on one large main unit is missing completely.
They did agree to provide replacements apart from three units that were too small by 15 – 20 mm on a shutter that is only 300mm wide they looked terrible but for them to be exchanged they wanted me to cover half the cost ultimately, I did. When the replacement shutters arrived two didn’t fit and another was hinged on the wrong side (unlike the original) which looks terrible.
I have called numerous times and each time Caleb in the office tries to assure me that the second set of replacements are on order and on the way, he will not however respond to emails – I believe a naive action he thinks may be helpful once proceedings start. It amazes me that a company this day and age can act so badly and think people will not write reviews about it and ultimately seek costs.

Very pleased with the shutters fitted in my daughter’s room. Good quality product, easy dealings with the company throughout. Would recommend.

I would like to highlight the appalling service I have had from Cool Shutters, I feel there is no other option to review there service to see if they actually pull their fingers out and complete my job.

On September 9th I ordered my shutters and was originally told by their representative that they would be fit before Christmas. However we are here on May 15th still without a complete set of shutters.

After a number of chasing emails, my shutters where originally booked in for Feb 4th ( 5month after ordering), but unfortunately 2 weeks after fitting I noticed some cracks in one of the shutter frames. After ringing the office I was told this was due to water damage and my fault! I explained that actually their fitter has knocked plaster of from around the windows to make them fit and any water damage was due to this reason as windows where new. After 3 months, I still have a broken shutter, no communication from them and we are now over 9 months into this process.

In short, Cool shutters communication is horrendous, I honestly believe once you have give them your deposit they do not care about service. I've spent over £8000 on these shutters and I am gutted I ever chose to use this company.
