My uncle passed away peacefully this morning with our family by his side, and although we are completely heartbroken, I wanted to express our deepest gratitude to Nathan and Andy from Co-op Funeralcare.
From the moment they arrived, they treated my uncle with such incredible dignity, gentleness, and respect. They spoke to us so kindly, explained every step of the process, and gave us such reassurance that our uncle would be cared for properly. They took the time to listen to stories about his life, and it genuinely felt as though they saw him as a person, not just part of their job.
One moment that touched us deeply was the “pause for thought” before they took my uncle away. It was such a thoughtful and compassionate gesture, and something our family will never forget.
When I later went back into the room, I saw that they had carefully tidied everything, made his bed neatly, and left the room with so much respect and care. It absolutely melted my heart during one of the hardest moments of our lives.
Nathan and Andy showed such humanity, compassion, and professionalism, and we will always be grateful to them for helping us through such a painful day. Thank you both, truly.

Lovely staff pleasant and helpful every step of the way

Birchington Branch - the staff were all very caring, supportive and helpful. They provided excellent help and guidance at every stage. Sarah was our main contact and she was exceptional - compassionate, supportive, understanding and very well informed, helping us through a complex situation. But all the staff, Karen and Vanessa too, were excellent. Vanessa conducted the funeral with the utmost dignity and respect, making a very difficult day more manageable. I can't thank the Birchington team enough.

Marie and the team at the Moreton (Wirral) branch were genuinely supportive, extremely helpful and provided a truly excellent service.
They looked after us throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend them.

15th funeral plan purchased today for a family member!

We used Co Op funeral care in Ashtead and they made a very difficult time so much easier with their thoughtfulness and care. The service we had was small and intimate and it could not have been more perfect - I know my dad would have been so happy with his goodbye. The whole team were wonderful but a special mention for Karen and Andrea who were just lovely, I felt so looked after and I knew my dad was being looked after too. Thank you so much, we are truly grateful x
