I had put this off for so long, but found the experience
so much easier than I had expected . The staff were lovely, friendly and informative and I feel as though a weight has been lifted off me. So nice to know that my family won’t have to make difficult decisions, it’s all arranged.

Easy to talk to setting up my plan was straight forword with no problems very happy

Dealt with the Ferndown branch to arrange Mum's cremation. Michelle was brilliant. She explained the process and answered all our questions. She went above and beyond and made the whole process much easier. Thank you Michelle 😊

From the outset the staff were helpful and throughout the whole process were supportive and contactable at any point throughout the day. All details were informed and the day was well planned and executed.

From first contact to final phone call the Co Op at High Street Macclesfield handled every detail concerning the funeral and cremation of our dear friend George Drake, with loving concern , efficiency and attention to detail. Praise particularly for Chloe who was just so patient and lovely at every meeting and on the day of the funeral, was attentive, reassuring and supportive. She deserves a medal, not just the homemade jar of jam I gave her!

My wife’s Mother recently died. Luckily she had made out a funeral plan and paid for it (except flowers etc). It made the funeral arrangements much easier. My wife and I decided to do the same so our Daughter shouldn’t have much stress when the time comes. We shopped around. Some companies did the funeral but the cremation wasn’t included, some included the cremation but at today’s prices, so when the time comes, and prices have gone up, whoever is dealing with the funeral has to pay the difference for the cremation. We looked at the Co Op funeral care. Everything is included, the service the cremation at today’s prices, and that’s it.(You have to pay for flowers etc). There are different levels to choose from (different coffin types or embalming etc). We chose the Silver Plan. You can pay for it in one go, or in instalments, some interest free over certain periods of time. Recommend anyone to have a look what they offer online. Oh, they had a promotion as well worth £200 for each of us!

Very efficient. Reasonable price. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The completion of the forms was straight forward

I would have preferred to do a face to face, but was advised that no appointments were available at short notice.
I was disappointed that offers for plans are constantly on offer.

I have written several times sending emails to change the recipient of my funeral plan. Not once has the Co-op funeral "care" responded to me.
I had asked for a plan to be sent to my daughter, but as she went into hospital I did not want her receiving a funeral plan notice. I asked that a copy be sent to my wife but there has been no response whatsoever. I feel I may have chosen the wrong company. I am very deaf and cannot stand the telephone or waiting for ages to speak to anyone. What a let down this company has been

Funeralcare business is not a busy business.
but it is a sensitive one, so it needs to be handled by matured people.

We didn't know which firm to go to for our funeral plans but needed someone to come to the house . I asked advice from Louise who works in the Guisborough office and she helped us to get a representative round to the house.
Tom was very helpful and not pushy in any way. We both wanted very different plans but it was no problem. All sorted and well explained. Tom had a very professional but friendly manner and explained everything well.
We are happy to have got our plans sorted so that, when the time comes, most things are sorted with only things like flowers and get togethers to see to.

We would like to thank Angela for all her help sorting our funerals out. The only criticism we have is you should consider taking the NOW bus pass as a valid form of photo ID it is issued council/government we ask this because some people don't drive or go abroad anymore???

Not as much choice as there was several years ago, but sufficient for our needs

I have arranged and attended funerals for my wonderful parents through Co-op Funeralcare. Their staff were very professional and compassionate. The service was brilliant. I have now arranged my own funeral through them. I highly recommend them.

Sadly this is the second time in as many months that I have needed to use the Triumph Road branch in Nottingham.
I cannot begin to say how sensitively, kindly and attentively they looked after our family.
Andrew was our assigned funeral director on both occasions…what a star ⭐ I could not have had anyone better to help me navigate planning a funeral (twice)
His patience and kindness were amazing and he made two traumatic days so easy. He is an absolute credit to your firm
