Emmersive, Comprehensive and Friendly Drone Trainers/Training

Lots of recap sessions after each training module to guarantee the embedding of the concepts being taught. Lots of opportunity to ask questions, non of which was regarded as silly. Luke was a highly knowlegeable, friendly, patient, attentive and very helpful trainer, who I know went above and beyond his remit with one of our number's logistics, picking him up and shuttling him to the practical training/assessment ground. Lunch provided during the training was nice... Joel the assessor was friendly, patient and attentive. I would gladly recommend Coptrz to anyone interested in drone training

Great customer service

Very grateful to Coptrz and Tom Bailey in particular for speedily facilitating the repair of my drone. I was back flying in little under a week and Tom kindly navigated the repair through the manufacturer’s insurance cover.

Practical assessment

Practical assessment was cancelled twice due to weather. Was rescheduled quickly and plenty of time was given beforehand when it had been cancelled.

Turned up to my flight assessment, and Louis was very informative as to what was planned. There was no rushing and was put at ease very quickly as had been a bit nervous before arriving.

After flight assessment was complete Louis went through everything with me, very easy to speak to.

to mamy red flags with online exam

I’m sorry to say this but I’ve got very negative experience, documents you upload are no accepted by their bot.. for no reason.. takes weeks to get them sorted, bots are the gate keepers to real customer services… , (they do have competent people like Jay… but getting to them is a miricale) you’re just talking with email bot instead of people… , but the thing that disqualifies them is using proctoru for tests , 1.0 (trust pilot) testing company, I have never been treated like that before, mot only took over an hour to get set me up…, but literaly during the exam some scammers accessed my computer and changed all my settings which has never recovered, if you book your online course with Coptrz it will be a part of your experience…., number of days after the exam and has got nothing… email with confirmation, certificate.. nothing at all, for Jay 5 stars but the rest experience put them down to the bottom…

P.S I red the reply… can’t belive it : I recommend you checking the opinion of the proctoru (this as you calle them…international leader in exams) on trust pilot, I experienced the same… or better one of you book a test with them and have this experience on your own… maybe then you’ll change your atitude towards honest review….

To clarify a few points:

You emailed us outside of our working hours (after 6pm), which is why our automated chatbot responded. During office hours, our phone lines and inboxes are fully staffed, and there is a dedicated IVR option that routes directly to the Training Administration team to ensure you can speak to a person as quickly as possible.

You completed your exam on Saturday 14th. Our service level agreement is five working days to review results and issue certificates. At the time of your review, only two working days had passed, so your certificate was still within our standard processing timeframe.

We’re pleased to hear that Jay was helpful — we’ll make sure that feedback is shared internally.

Regarding ProctorU: they are a globally recognised online proctoring provider used by universities, professional bodies, and certification organisations worldwide. While we’re very sorry to hear that you felt uncomfortable during your exam setup, we have not received any report from you about technical interference or unauthorised access to your system. Had we been made aware, we would have escalated this to ProctorU.

We absolutely take concerns of that nature seriously, and we would encourage you to contact us directly so we can properly review what happened and support you accordingly.

Our goal is always to provide clear communication, timely certification, and professional support. If you would like to discuss your experience further, our Training Administration team is available during working hours and will be happy to assist.

UAV Fault Investigation

I've recently had two UAVs in for investigation of a fault.
On Both occasions, Tom Barnes in the technical department has been quick to inform on receipt of UAV, updates on fault finding and follow up questions, a delay (on manufacturers end) and notified before shipping the drone back. In general, Coptrz have gone above and beyond for us over the years to support us with last minute rentals and demos etc over the years. 10/10

Tom's top notch 5+* customer service…

Tom's top notch 5+* customer service and a quick turnaround were outstanding. He replied instantly to my emails with helpful and to the point advice and turned the work around in flash and got the drone back to me almost before I knew it was gone. He also clearly offered other options factually which was appreciated. A fantastic operative with customer service at the core of his work. Thanks very much Tom and Coptrz.
