Sorry but your response, tells me nothing as to when I will be receiving my refund of £499.38, of which I was expecting to receive either yesterday or today at the lastest, I was not expecting to be told that finance are still dealing with the issue and I expect payment 15 days from today being the 17th, I now expect full payment to be refunded no later than the 22/4/26 of which will be 29 days since, since refund 1st agreed 24/3/26

Still waiting for our compensation for a 9 hour delayed flight from BHX in August 2025 - have passed it over to the CAA to investigate too as there were a lot people on this flight.
The whole customer service experience is awful, and it was chaos on the flight - we were all told to sit anywhere we could even though we paid for fixed seats. Bit of advice if flying from BHX - don't. We were lucky they had another aircraft 9 hours away but the bhx staff said that if you are unlucky it could be days if they cancel a flight as they don't fly often from bhx. I'll never use them again.

I spoke with a very helpful person to make a name change in our ticket. Unfortunately this was not possible and we had to cancel the tickets and rebook. The lady on the phone was going to do it for us and we thought that this was straight forward for your organisation. Unfortunately the seats were taken before she could do so and since the flight was full, we were forced to book a ticket the next day in seats that were more expensive and had to book another hotel night. This is not why we approached Corendon with our seemingly minor problem. We expected Corendon to be in charge of their own booking systems....

After several months of delays and repeated follow-ups, they changed their position and reduced the amount to €800 only after I insisted on payment via bank transfer instead of vouchers.
I have now filed a formal complaint with the German aviation authority (LBA) and will shortly escalate the case to the arbitration body (SÖP) if this is not resolved.
If Corendon responds here citing “data protection” as a reason not to comment, I explicitly consent to my case being discussed for the purpose of resolving this issue.
Very disappointing handling of a clear EU261 case.

Ich habe inzwischen eine Beschwerde beim Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) eingereicht und werde den Fall kurzfristig an die Schlichtungsstelle (SÖP) weitergeben, falls keine Lösung erfolgt.
Falls Corendon hier mit „Datenschutz“ argumentiert: Ich erkläre ausdrücklich mein Einverständnis, dass mein Fall zum Zweck der Klärung öffentlich kommentiert wird.

My flight has been cancelled ‘because of operational reasons’. They have informed me before 14 days, so it’s ok. But it’s not not ok ! I had to purchase another ticket from another airline and had to pay double, because the time is neared. I have a return ticket with them and I fear they might cancel that flight too. When asked they say they can’t not guarantee it. Perfect!

More than 4 hours delay for our flight to Hurghada in April 2025. Asked for the legally required compensation in May 2025. After a dozen of reminders, still no compensation recieved one year later!

Our baggage complaint has been ongoing since 27 October 2025, and the way Corendon has handled it has been nothing short of disgraceful.
Our suitcase was returned to us severely damaged and is no longer usable. This was clearly not normal wear and tear, but serious damage caused while the luggage was in Corendon’s care. That alone was already unacceptable.
What followed made the situation even worse. Corendon offered us just €25 in compensation for a suitcase that was effectively ruined. A sum like that is not a serious offer. It is insulting, dismissive, and completely detached from the actual damage.
After I published my first review on Trustpilot, I was told to contact Corendon again directly so the issue could be reviewed properly. I did exactly that. In fact, I contacted Corendon twice more after that. The result: absolutely no response. No update, no explanation, no effort to resolve the matter, and no sign of accountability.
At this stage, this is no longer just about damaged luggage. It is about the complete failure to deal with a legitimate customer complaint in a professional and respectful manner. Damaging baggage may happen. Offering a token amount that borders on mockery and then ignoring the customer for months is a different matter entirely.
The overall impression is clear: once there is a problem, Corendon appears far more interested in wearing customers down than in resolving the issue fairly. This is not how a reputable airline should treat paying passengers.
We had flown with Corendon several times before and were satisfied in the past, which makes this experience even more disappointing. But after months of delay, a completely inadequate compensation offer, and repeated silence despite multiple follow-ups, our trust in this airline is gone.
We cannot recommend Corendon based on this experience, and we will think very carefully before ever booking with them again.

However, hiding behind “data protection regulations” is simply another way of avoiding the real issue. My complaint was submitted directly to your responsible department on 27 October 2025 and I followed up repeatedly through the proper channels.
The facts are very clear: my suitcase was severely damaged while in Corendon’s care, your airline offered a completely inadequate €25 compensation for luggage that was no longer usable, and every attempt to obtain a fair reassessment was dismissed without any meaningful justification.
Calling this matter “reviewed and completed” does not make the handling acceptable. It simply confirms that Corendon considers it sufficient to offer a token amount, refuse proper accountability, and then hide behind generic replies when the customer speaks publicly.
This is not a data protection issue. It is a customer service failure.
Your public response does not resolve anything. It only reinforces the impression that Corendon is unwilling to deal with legitimate complaints in a fair, transparent, and responsible way.
