The delivery was made promptly and information on its progress was very efficient. The staff in the collection store were very polite. Thank you.

Great clothes and only returned one of five because the trousers were of such weird fabric! Returning to Debbie’s easy peasy.

I collected my online order at my local store - Royston. On arrival, I was greeted by the Manager Tracey, who was very friendly and polite. My parcel was found very quickly. I had several questions about other items that I had seen on-line and Tracey had an amazing knowledge of all the products and answered all my question thoroughly. Excellent customer service. I shall be visiting again.

Welcoming and very helpful

Very kind, friendly and helpful sales assistant, and gave me good advice on size. I also returned some trousers which were too large.

Amanda, a new member of staff was very helpful in getting a blouse in from another store. This came within 2 days and today I purchased this blouse - very pleased with the staff’s attention.

Good quality clothing in larger sizes that fit consistently well. Good choice of items too.
Prices have increased but still reasonable value most of the time.

We both purchased a raincoat from cotton traders shop in Dobbies garden centre in Shepreth today. The lady who served us was excellent. She helped with the sizing of the product, she had a very good knowledge of the items we were looking at. All in all it was a very enjoyable shop and we would like to say a big thank you to Amanda who was the assistant.

Products are great, my husband loves his new chinos . I had this parcel delivered to a Cotton Traders shop for the first time , I only got a message to say that the items had been dispatched, I had to phone the shop to find out if they had arrived which they had two days earlier the whole process of click and collect took far longer than having a delivery , will think twice before using click and collect again.
The shop staff were good and my parcel was found quickly.They were not at fault it seems the system was.

Good service, decent quality quality goods and reasonable price

First time purchase from here and won’t be purchasing again! Placed order online, had a discount code added to basket and total price was correct at time of pressing ‘pay now’ but was charged £10 more from my bank account than advertised on the payment screen. Reported to customer services and was issued a refund of the discount code straight away. However, when I went to place the same order again a week later to get a different size, the same issue happened again! Reported to customer services again, gentleman I spoke to this time was quite rude and dismissive, said it was the first he’d heard of it despite me telling him I’d already reported it the previous week. This time I was told to call back to get my refund as my order hadn’t processed yet which is inconvenient as the time before it was almost instantly processed. When I came to take the original order back to store, the lady on the till said she could see I had already discussed returning the item and that my refund would be on the way. I explained to her that I hadn’t discussed a return but I had gotten a partial refund for a discount code but she shrugged me off and sent me on my way without actually issuing me a refund. I phoned customer service again a few days later to query it (4th time now) as I’d had no information regarding the return and I was told that the money should have been refunded to my card in store, but I’d have to wait a few days to see if my items turned up back at the warehouse via post. I then phoned in another few days, this time to be told that the information I was given was incorrect and my items would definitely be on their way back to the warehouse via post and I just had to wait (an undisclosed amount of time) for them to arrive so that my refund could be issued. After around 10 days following my in store return experience, I phoned customer services AGAIN (6th time now) and explained the situation just one more time… on this occasion I was issued a refund but with little to no apology or explanation from the customer service representative. Much to my disgust, I have had my phone bill come through this week, only to find that each call (yes all 6 of them) have been charged at a premium! 6 times I had to call this company, 2 of them for exactly the same issue that I raised a week prior, and 4 of them just to get a refund for goods that I did not have in my possession and had not had in my possession for 10 days. In total, those phone calls have cost me £30 out of my own pocket. Shocking and useless customer service team and website, I feel guilty that the older demographic are known to be the target market here who are likely more vulnerable than me and perhaps would not notice or challenge these kind of issues. Shameful, absolutely will not bother to order or purchase in store ever again. I sincerely apologise that you asked for my honest trust pilot review, it’s a shame really as this took a good 5 minutes of my time!

I bought another pair of trousers and needed a refund for the two previous pairs that I had purchased that was on the 7 th October but I still have not received any monies in spite of being told a couple of days .

I ordered several shirts on a panic buy just before my holiday, all arrived in good time, I liked them all and use these cotton shirts all the time.
I often go to my local store at Dobbies Garden centre in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire, who are always helpful.

We regularly visit our local Cotton Traders store at Dobbies, Royston. We buy most of our leisurewear from there, as the staff are always so pleasant and helpful, particularly when we are not too sure of which size and colour we want for items! Tracey and her colleagues are always so welcoming and I cannot praise them enough.

Always a friendly and helpful experience without the hustle and bustle of a busy shop
