We also provide notification 28 days before the renewal date. If we do not receive instructions to switch off automatic renewal, the policy will renew in line with the terms and conditions agreed when the policy was purchased.

Covered £146.89 For Punctured Tyre
Thankfully had car rental insurance with Cover4Rentals - recently hired a car from Europcar and on the last day, a nail punctured rear drivers side tyre. I filed a claim online and Cover4Rentals covered the £146.89 charge from Europcar, no fuss and surprisingly quickly. I will be renewing my policy.

I cannot warn people off these jokers…
I cannot warn people off these jokers enough. Making a claim for what should have been a straightforward matter took ages, documents continually being rejected as insufficient and endless further questions raised. Then when - finally - everything was 'accepted' they rejected the claim upon a technicality buried in the paperwork. Thank God the claim was only for something minor and we did not rely on them in some serious accident. AVOID.

In order to review your claim, we requested a copy of the rental agreement, which showed a different individual as the lead driver.
As you were the policyholder and did not have Family Cover included on your policy, other family members were not insured to be the lead driver under the terms of cover.
Unfortunately, as the policy terms and conditions were not met, we were unable to proceed with the claim as submitted.

Don’t just go for the first insurer you find.
I’d gone straight for the top insurance provider on a Google search. It was RentalCover. I was looking for a three-week hire cover and thought the $170 price tag was ok. After all, a little over $55 each week.
Fortunately, my payment card was declined; I’d forgotten to tell them I was in TX!
I went back in Google and found the next listing down the page. It was Cover4Rentals. The same level of cover for $90 saving me $80!
What’s not to love?
And the application was straightforward too.
