Quick and efficient service with competitively-priced premium and excess
The customer service person (Shannon) was quick, efficient, and did not ask too many questions. The premium and excess were competitively priced and covered my trekking up to 18,500 feet in Tibet. The excess in Nepal was high, but then I will not be trekking Nepal. She did make a mistake in spelling my email address, but then I have a complicated surname, and she got it right the send time around. The online forms to make the payment and to check my (minor) medical condition were straightforward.

As well as the price of the insurance…
As well as the price of the insurance (circa£35) which I thought was reasonable I was then made to pay an additional £60 for a ‘health screening’ to cover ‘pre existing medical conditions’ neither of which should effect the risk.
This additional payment was not clear at the outset and is excessive compared to the cost for the cover.
