Rip off prices and sharp practices

Booked an LFT day 2 test for day after I arrived back in UK on 29th November. Did not expect there to be any issue as i was arriving before the PCR test became mandatory.
However, I arrived at the test centre on the 30th, 9.30am and the man there told me they had changed it to a PCR test. There was no prior notification and, as I arrived before the deadline, no reason from my point of view. The man stated that they had to do the PCR now though, I said OK as long as I don't get charged any extra.
So imagine my surprise and anger when I found an unauthorised extra £65 taken from my account!
Totally unacceptable, no prior notification of the change, no indication that they wanted to add a rip off fee (other locally available PCR tests cost less than £40).
I have contacted them to demand a refund. If they act honestly and decently I will update (or even if they don't)
