I knew where I wanted to go and I found the booking process easy and trouble free. Neil Davis was very helpful and pleasant.

Very helpful especially as I initially made an error regarding my flights and this was rectified when I called.

A recent trip to Costa Rica was a real delight. Under the care of an Excellent guide, providing not only comprehensive information about the wildlife but also an insight into the real Costa Rica. The hotels were well chosen for comfort and variety. The trip included a range of excursions which kept the group busy. The tour included a family, couples and solo travellers. The trip was well organised with good information to prepare in advance of travel. Very good value for the cost and I would travel again with Cox & Kings

Overall, I would rate this tour as one of best I’ve been on (8th). And would rate it 10/10, with the only proviso being the guest has to have a moderate level of fitness. We were blessed with good weather throughout, which often meant very hot/humid. As one or two in group had difficulty with hilly trails the guide chose easier ones (good for him as we still saw a cross section of wildlife, birds, reptiles, flora and fauna).
The guide, Jorge, was very good and flexible when offering options, The driver Stefan was very safe and courteous.
Food, without exception was excellent and good choices (often buffet for b/fast and lunch but menu available for evening) – also good range of drinks available. Service at every stop was always helpful and with a smile.
Tour is based on eco-system etc so in CR lodges will be in hotel grounds (outdoor walk to your cabin) but only to be expected – iguana in dining room, coatimundi on your patio, insect spray needed in evening. We are wildlife tourists!
I flew out from London with KLM out and AirFrance back. The other guests were very critical of route using United Airways (2 were sick after in-flight meal) .

Solid, experienced team with meticuluos backoffice prep work and bookings. Timely and reliable logistics on the ground. Choice of hotels is one area of improvement but overall had a good trip with them in Panama and Costa Rica. Especially the tour guide and the driver in Costa Rica were top notch, we couldn't have asked for a better duo.

Well conceived tour. The scope and pace of itinerary was nicely judged. Wonderful country and outstanding guide/tour manager.

We had a wonderful escorted tour of Rajasthan that far exceeded our expectations. The level of organisation was second to none and we felt very well looked after both before the trip and throughout

Just returned from a cracking tour of South America organised by Cox & Kings. A neatly-paced, small group canter around Chile, Argentina and Brazil, taking in all the important sights at the end of the world and one of the seven wonders of the world. Transportation, hospitality and guiding all smooth and effective. Indeed a couple of the guides were truly world class. One hotel was below par, but the 6 others more than made up for it.

Well organised programme packed full of interesting experiences, with a superb tour leader, which gave us a real feeling for the beauty and variety of Costa Rica. As a group we bonded really well and we enjoyed many memorable experiences which we will remember for a long time.

Excellent organisation. Everything went to plan. Our guide’s vast knowledge of wild life made the holiday. We saw 101 species of birds and many reptiles and mammals. I would definitely travel with Cox and Kings again.

I’ve been away with C&K twice in the past few years and already got another trip planned this year.
The standard of trip, the hotels and guides are always very good. I really enjoy the itinerary’s which takes the hassle out of booking each element myself.
The group sizes are always just right, for me too. Travelling on your own can be daunting. But I am so pleased I did, I’ve visited places I’d never have gone to alone. Peru & Jordan, with Mexico to come.

Our trip was a combination of the small group Splendours of Chile trip followed by a private tour through Argentina and Brazil. Paula, our guide in Chile, was superb and everything went very smoothly. The sights we saw from the desert down to Patagonia were amazing and Paula's knowledge and enthusiasm really added to the whole experience.
The rest of our trip was very well organised with helpful, friendly guides meeting us at each destination. The Perito Merino glacier and the Iguazu Falls were highlights. Leonardo, our guide in Rio de Janeiro, went out of his way to make sure we got the most out of our visit to his city. The only disappointment of the whole trip was the cooking experience in Rio which left us both feeling unwell due to the heat.
Overall, an amazing experience and we would definitely recommend David at Cox and Kings for organising it for us.

Enjoyable well organised tour through Central America, the only downside was that some of the transport (i.e. private buses) were too small and uncomfortable for the long journeys and that some of the local guides could have been better at communicating.

Cox and Kings (Jo McCreery) did a great job customising our tour so that we got just enough time in each location focusing on the things we most wanted to see and do. A really enjoyable trip all round but EcoCamp Patagonia was the highlight for us - our base for hiking over three days in Torres Del Paine National Park. The guides were fantastic and the group we were part of got on really well together. The camp is in such a beautiful place and the pods were superb.

I booked my trip based on superb C&K 2018 holiday in Peru, the route and boutique palace hotels. Weeks prior to departure, they notified 3 hotel changes. One downgrade to a character hotel, which had poor room security, cold water and a broken cash machine. At here view is that a £5-10 discount to enable me to retain some currency was adequate compensation for this. Two were changed to bland corporate boxes, apparently as those planned were taken over by weddings. This we found not to be correct by guests staying there and searching room availability.
A jeep dune drive was in fact a jeep drive to the edge of the city to a pile of sand in a field. Optional cooking lesson was a demonstration, and blocking printing/star gazing not available due to hotel changes.
C&K asked for feedback and their defensive response to comments was that they arranged drinks/nibbles at a C&K employees house, a cheap scarf and theatre show (simply shocking and dragging out 45m). Oh and a 5% discount from my next C&K holiday ????????
India did not fail to disappoint, but the experience was significantly reduced by the above changes and misleading activities. I seriously wish I had not relied on my previous experience with C&K. Standards have dropped and I shall never trust them again
