Bob replaced our old boiler with a new Worcester Bosch and Hive controls. I have now had broadband installed and linked up the Hive to it. Bob did a fabulous job, very tidy installation and it works a treat. He called to advise on the installation when he said he would, and completed the new boiler installation in a day. A great job and great communication - thanks Bob, 5 star rating!

The customer service is second to none. No jargon, just straightforward, honest advice that's clearly communicated. Pre-sales consultancy was impartial, entirely evidence based, and ensured requirements were fully captured in the quotation. The work was carried out to an exemplary standard with genuine care towards the property. Dedicated and experienced engineering work was provided throughout the installation and ensured each aspect of the job run smoothly. Safety precautions were taken to ensure work was carried out safely and risks controlled/minimised.

Review based on the following scope of work:

* Removal of Alpha CB50.
* Supply and installation of Worcester Bosch 8000 life 50kW combi boiler.
* Flue kit & bend.
* Hive Wifi Controls.
* Pipe upgrade to meet gas input requirements.
* Power flush and magnetic cleanse.
* Supply and installation of a Bosch filter.
* Disconnection and bypass of header tank in attic.

Had a new boiler put in by Bob and would recommend him to anyone. His workmanship was remarkable. He obviously takes great pride in doing a job well. Friendly and professional, as well as a good price. My other half is over the moon with his outside hot water tap as well.

Boiler needed it's annual service and contacted this company based on previous reviews. Offered a couple of different days and times and attended when they said they would - even complying with a special request due to a very nervous family dog. Used Bob a few times from sorting out small issues, to replacing my whole bathroom. Would 100% recommend Bob for anyone looking for a quality heating engineer/plumber.

Used Crawford boilers just before Christmas, condensing pump needed replaced and was sourced and replaced by them within 3 hours, great service will definitely use again.

I have lived in a very old house for over 20 years. Maintenance has been an expensive - and problematic - process. However almost 10 years ago when I was planning a radical change to my heating system Bob [who was recommended by a friend] quoted for what was a very large job [>12K]

The work was undertaken efficiently and in a reasonable time frame. I quit my previous plumber and relied entirely on Bob - for hot water and heating but also other plumbing, where a great deal of previous tradesmen's mistakes emerged over time, some very unpleasant and most expensive.

Bob is all you could wish for in an competent and efficient plumber/heating engineer. He is reliable, communicates carefully and clearly, and can readily quote for what needs to be done. His bills are presented quickly without fuss and I have no reason to challenge them. He uses e mailing and text to ensure good contact when he is busy and I have concerns.

He is always happy to discuss options and plan routine maintenance in a way that suits me - and my pocket!

On the downside he is not local. However, on occasion when I have needed prompt assistance he has made himself available.

Such a service is not cheap, but after so many bitter experiences which have cost me dear with other tradesmen, I have no difficulty with his rates which are fair - I get [more than] what I pay for in terms of work well done and good after sales support.

Bob did 2 jobs for us. New shower room and new boiler. Very happy with both.
