Returning an item is very difficult
Returning an item is very difficult, and for an item of £45 I was outright refused. You also have to pay postage AND get charged an "administrative fee" for the privilege of making a return. Don't order something unless you are willing to keep it.

Terrible Return Policy and Misleading Product Descriptions
I’m deeply disappointed with my experience with Creative-Cables UK. After the holiday season, I attempted to return a product, only to find out their 14-day return policy counts as calendar days, not working days. They outright refused my return, even though the product description on their website was misleading.
The photos made it seem like I was buying a complete, ready-to-install stainless steel lamp holder, but in reality, it was just a decorative cover! To make matters worse, I was searching for a stainless steel lamp holder for a 200W bulb, and while the outer housing was steel, the internal components that directly contact the bulb were aluminum!
Even in their instructional video, a complete lamp holder was shown—not just the colored cover they sold me.
My complaint was dismissed, and now I’m out of pocket for a product that’s completely useless to me. Their customer service attitude leaves much to be desired. Avoid this company unless you want to risk throwing your money away.
P.S.
Well, it seems time is a relative concept for this company – I got a response to my review after a whole year ! That’s what they call ‘fast customer service’.
The company keeps referring to the 14-day withdrawal period, which applies only to returns without cause. My complaint concerns a product not as described, which falls under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and gives consumers 30 days to reject goods and receive a full refund. Store policies and T&Cs cannot override statutory consumer rights.

The design is OK however the finish is…
The design is OK however the finish is not so good. Two plastic plugs and holed grommets are Supplied with cieling rose - there is no blank for the third hole which I guess its presumed this will be main light access - not in our case. Delivey messages were encouraging - however changed - bottom line it was 8 days to deliver
