Chloe Bradley (PAYZAC)

Since I've met Chloe Bradley in Credit Agricole Excideuil , two years ago, she has always helped me greatly with all my banking requirements. She goes over and beyond to help, and advised me on my placements of money. I find it very difficult to do online banking which she has helped me massively to transfer funds rather than me making costly mistakes. When she left Excideuil, I was very disappointed and now she is in Payzac, I'm not supposed to go over. I feel that I should move my account to Payzac. And with the rapport I built with her, I'm still popping over sometimes to do some bits of banking. And she speaks fluent English. If you are an English speaker and struggle with banking, I would highly recommend to go to Payzac to speak to Chloe and open an account with her.
I feel that the 5 star rating isn't enough.

cannot do chargeback in this bank - AVOID

been a victim of scam and bank refused to assist despite all the proof. It is ridiculous that you cannot simply send an Email in Poland with the appeal and additional documents, you need to send a LETTER or contact. Then they say: use our website but then website comes with an error of validation - whatever that means. I am not surprised NO COMPLAINTS are coming through if the system to submit complaints to the bank IS BROKEN... If any review and rescue team can contact me to resolve this, I would appreciate it.

Thomas Delcourt is awesome.

Thomas Delcourt is the most helpful person I have ever encountered in the banking sector. I have had other bank accounts in France and the UK, however, Thomas goes beyond the call of duty to make sure that I feel safe and secure in CA hands. Thank you once again for your prompt and kind service.

Our local advisor

Our local advisor, at the Pionsat branch, has been amazing. Helpful, efficient, very approachable, and a delight to deal with. Valentin Rateau gave us excellent advice on our car insurance, with two policies that cover exactly what we wanted. I can't recommend him, and his colleagues at the branch, highly enough.

if you know someone who work in the banque they will offer coffe and tea and they will ask what to drink , but if you dont know ,you are nothing ,

Exceptional Customer Service - home from home feel

Credit Agricole have always been exceptionally helpful to me, even in challenging times. The fact that they could deal with me in English was a massive bonus as my French was non-existent especially when it came to some of the house bills and the local services. Nothing was every too much trouble for them and they were always professional. I have dealt with a few staff members in the Normandy office and they have all been helpful, but AnnaMarie was my go to person, and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She certainly went above and beyond during some very difficult personal times. My house is sold now and my account closed, but I have no hesitation in recommending CA they are like family, and I will miss the interactions with them.

This Bank is not aiming to Support you, just to squeeze you. Avoid please

Definitely the worse bank i have ever dealt with.
No transparency, huge commission in EU countries with different currency, not clarify
properly in the received documents and where other banks apply nothing.
Mortgage even more unclear, never received via mail, the agreement 8 days before signing the papers to buy a flat, as the same agreement was stating, they never forward me the original mail cause was not existing.
Typical narrow minded and not capable management particularly in the agency i had to deal to for the flat I have bought in Turin.
Avoid them, before it is too late! Myself, I just want to close any open business with them and never consider anymore.
Further investigation on the commissions used in EU countries will be considered with antitrust, or bank customer organization.
Awful bank, there is no worse than this.

Not so, the staff were very friendly and helpful. But the gold star goes to Emilie, thank you for your time and patients. Would recommend to future customers.

Husband has account and had card stolen. After reported £250 taken and they are refusing to refund unless husband returns to France and signs police statement in person then goes into bank and have deleted message where he told them to stop card. Dodgy bank. Are doing complaint now. Will need to take to Ombudsman.

The worst bank I have ever used.

The worst bank I have ever used.

I withdrew money from another bank's terminal, and the terminal deducted the amount but did not dispense it. Subsequently, I contacted the bank's support center to explain the situation. Their initial response was that the money would be refunded within one month. However, when that timeframe passed without any reimbursement, I reached out again. This time, I was informed that a mistake had been made, and the regulations required a two-month waiting period.

After two months had passed, I contacted the support center once more because the money had still not been returned. To my dismay, they now claimed that it would take six months for the funds to be returned. To be continued...

The WORST bank I have ever been a…

I do not recommend this bank because they are very slow and it is very difficult to get in contact with them. I was a German student in Nice, France and during my time there customer at CA, specifically Agence Nice Arson. Already opening the bank account with my not so great French was difficult as the agent lady treated me like an infant, she explained nothing to me properly and after a few days 50 EUR were taken from my account for some fee that everyone has to pay but she hadn't warned me. Fast forward to this year in summer, I moved back to Germany and closed my account through the app. My agent was on vacation and my demand for closure wasn't treated until like a whole month later although the response was that someone else would take care of it. This also meant I had to pay another 2 EUR monthly fee because of the incompetence of this bank. I asked again for closure and to be updated and the response was it's underway but nothing specific. I also tried to transfer my remaining money to my German bank account but I wasn't allowed to send to non French IBAN. So I asked through the app to have this option added or allowed. Never received a reply to this ever! A couple of weeks later again, I couldn't log into the app anymore so the closure must have been finished but I have not yet recieved my 15 Euros back that I had to pay in cash to the agent lady when I opened my account. I had provided all the documents inlcuding the RIB of my German bank for the remaining money to be transferred but it has been over a month again and I have not received anything nor received an email or letter that confirmed the closure to me properly. I sent an email on 28th September to ask about this and only received a response a few days ago (October 15th).

Very restricted

You can do nothing yourself, online or using the app, everything you need, they say come visit us, you can't even change your phone number, you can't send money outside France, and you can't send more than 700 inside France, and much more, very restricted

"Multiple-fee" fees

"Multiple-fee" fees, using your card abroad means they will exchange the amount at the worst rate plus apply an extra fee - because you use their card abroad. Bouncing cheques are met with an exorbitant fee - and they bounce because the bank prefers to prioritize certain operations.
When I needed to defer my mortgage payment by three months only (meaning the bank would be able to profit extra because of this, 3 months longer loan, interest rates plus extra fees) they said after a long waiting time to get an answer "NO". No reason why, no explanation, very poor communication. When I notified them that I'll pay as soon as possible - what did they do? Froze ALL accounts after a week without telling me anything, after saying that they were ok with paying as soon as possible. Whenever I put any money in the account in the hope that they will wait till I say "ok, now go ahead and take the mortgage money" - they proceeded immediately to take it to the MAX negative allowed, blocking any other payments to be made from that account. I use it for other bills, groceries and so on.
I'm very dissapointed in how they conduct their business and for their lack of communication. I'm sure the bank will go under without my 6000 euros not paid for one month, right?
And on top of everything I am invisible being female and married when they comunicate with me, only when they need to take money from me I'm Mrs X and given any acknowledgement to existing as a human being, it's no longer the 1700, women are probably just a money gaining opportunity for them, more than that we are not worth. Avoid this bank at all costs if you can!

They froze my account due to my parents accounts being frozen!

They froze my account due to my parents accounts being frozen, keep in mind that the only account i have that is related to my parents is my savings account! And they froze my debit account which is in my name! I had just gone on a trip 2 days before this so imagine if i was stuck without money abroad. No one notified me of this pointless freezing and it doesn't say anything about this on the Credit Agricole app
