Crew Facilities Still Hasn't Paid Our Hotel 4 Months after Stay
Crew Facilities was very communicative and responsive when setting up a direct bill stay at our hotel in Dayton, OH, for October 2024. However, four months after the stay, our hotel still has not been paid the $2,761.20 we are owed, and no one with accounting or billing will return our probably 50 email messages and calls. Initially, after not receiving payment in a timely fashion, when I would reach a person at an extension for new business (because no one with accounting or billing will answer or return calls), I was told well into January that the reason for the delay in being paid was due to their end-of-year audit. Later, when I kept asking just how much into 2025 their end of year audit could run, I was asked to resend folios (that I had already confirmed had been received previously) as a zip-file. What?! Finally, no one would answer anything or even bother with a lame excuse; I would simply be sent to voicemail, never to receive a reply. I cannot even tell you how many emails I have sent with no reply. Again, the only people I could actually speak with are those trying to bring in more business – billing and accounting will not answer emails or return messages. The people I have spoken with have honestly been polite, but I would rather them be rude and pay me than polite and not pay me. Normally, Romina's/Billing/Accounting voicemails are full – I am guessing with messages from other people duped like me. It appears we have been defrauded of $2,761.20 from a stay over four months ago. I would like to ensure this does not happen to a single other hotel. If you are a company using Crew Facilities / Crew Logistics to accommodate your crew, please know they are taking your money but not paying hotels for the stays. It would be great if you could book directly with hotels to ensure that those working hard to earn your money are actually paid, and likely more cost-effective for you as well – those middle-men keep a large chunk - or in this case, every single penny. Most hotels will be happy to give you a great special rate if you call and ask. If you own a hotel, please do not make the same mistake we made in trusting this company. They have defrauded us. I hope they prove me wrong and am still hoping against odds to be paid. However, I will absolutely never offer rooms through them again. I have told a few people that I have spoken with who work for Crew Facilities that if they themselves are actually honest people, to please consider if they can continue in good conscience working for a company that does this to other small businesses. Please warn every honest business you know. Thank you and best of luck to the honest little guys just trying to earn a living.
