Amazing experience from Alison in customer service. I’d bought my toilet seat from wicks, but the plumber had thrown away the fixings when he changed the toilet. Alison was able to sort everything out for me, sending the correct fixings in the post. It was so refreshing to speak to an actual person and get proper good old-fashioned customer service! What a great company!

Purchased a Cumbrian Grey Slate effect Standard Soft close Toilet seat from B&Q. I have never fitted such a well engineered seat to a Loo. The fitting is straight forward and the design means that there is absolutely no movement in the seat when attached. After 6 months it has not come the slightest bit loose. Easy to clean and looks great. Had a very small issue which was sorted immediately by the excellent customer service team (Tracey)with absolutely no drama whatsoever. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. They provide well engineered products and undoubtedly are extremely customer focused.

Spoke to Alison who was extremely helpful after being sold one of their toilet seats from vinted but it arriving with no fixtures and a cap missing i contacted them to see if I could get some and within minutes an order was placed and was kindly given to me free of charge due to the circumstances which I didnt expect but fully appreciated thank you so much and I will most definitely be recommending this company in the future to friends and family clearly good at dealing with any issue with their products even when not purchased directly

Their no quibble lifetime guarantee for products is amazing as is their customer service. I emailed in the morning regarding a shower basket that had flaking chrome and received a response within the hour. My new basket is now on the way. Truly amazing and well done Croydex - what a great team. This is definitely not an April fool!!

Wow, what an amazing customer service experience received today from Alison. Never have I called a company with a query and got such a positive response so quickly, without fuss from what was my fault anyway! I had fitted a toilet seat and not allowed clearance at the back of it to stay up. I needed replacement brackets/holders as the tape is so strong once applied. What more could you ask for, a good quality product and knowing that if things are not quite right or you lash up like me, you have a top notch company with top notch people happy to help out. I had the misfortune to purchase two Croydex cosmetic baskets QM260641. What a dreadful piece of engineering it they are. The bar at the rear stands proud of the basket, so after it's screwed to the wall the basket is tilted downwards. Tall bottles fall over, as the basket stupidly has a dropped front which offers no support to the contents.
Has no-one at Croydex actually installed and used this product?
Sadly, the Croydex customer service is on par with their engineering. I wrote to complain about the products over a week ago, and haven't yet had a reply.
RESPONSE TO CROYDEX'S REPLY:
That's nonsense. The grout line is not proud of the tiles, and it's most definitely not the cause of the problem. I really don't need advice from you how to attach something to a tiled wall. It's quite simple for you to check and see where the problem is. If the basket is fixed to a vertical surface, it does not lie horizontally. I really can't be bothered to take this further with you. I shall bend the wire to make it work - but I really shouldn't have to.
It's not surprising that I didn't spot your first response in my inbox. Rather than show 'Croydex' in the sender name your email reads 'Info Requests'. Other responses are from 'No-Reply', again with no mention of your organisation in the name. Very poor attention to detail.

What is a toilet seat? You really know what it is when it comes to fitting it! And with the Croydex seats, the purchaser is supplied with all the necessary tools. So, no fiddling about trying to to align the seat spigots because you get a simple spacer bar that holds them in the right position. And no cursing in the dark as you try to get a spanner on the retaining nuts because there's a nut key supplied to simplify the process. These small commodities simply the process; even if the seat has to be refitted later, it becomes a 5-minute task. Simples! Well done Croydex for making a tiresome task easily accomplished.

The soft close on the toilet lid failed after 18 months and I asked for a replacement hinge but these are not available. However if I provided proof of purchase and a video of the problem they would see what they could do. Within minutes of sending the information they replied to say that although out of warranty they would replace the entire seat. What generosity and service - way beyond what one would have expected. I have found Croydex products to be of excellent quality and can’t understand so many of the one star reviews.

I needed a replacement part which I was quite happy to pay for as it was my own fault it was required, lol.
I contacted your company and was fortunate enough to be dealt with by Tracey. She was extremely helpful and advised me they did not have my part in stock and would send one out as soon as it arrived in March.
I was delighted and shocked to receive it two weeks later! Fantastic customer service, many, many thanks.
