Payment missing, support triggered AML on the merchant (me) and then went silent

I operate a website with Cryptomus as the payment processor. Recently, a client made a payment, but the funds never appeared in my merchant account.

I reached out to Cryptomus’ Telegram support. Instead of investigating the missing payment, support immediately subjected me (the merchant) to an AML process—as if I were the payer. I repeatedly explained that the payer was my customer, not me, and provided the relevant details. My explanation was ignored, and since then I’ve received no updates or meaningful communication.

This is, frankly, absurd and unacceptable: a payment processor should be able to identify who actually paid and should not treat the merchant as the payer.

I sent 24 USDT yesterday through…

I sent 24 USDT yesterday through Cryptomus and the payment never went through. It shows confirmed on the blockchain but Cryptomus never validated it. I contacted support, they said they forwarded it to “specialists” and since then nothing. No update, no refund, no answer.

It’s been more than 12 hours and my money is still stuck. I’ve sent them the TXID, the payment link, everything, and they just keep ignoring me. Honestly this is ridiculous. I trusted this platform and now I regret it.

Really disappointed, I wouldn’t recommend using Cryptomus until they fix their support and take responsibility for user funds.

MONEY HOLD

Friday, the 10th, I transferred 5,000 USDT from my cold wallet to Cryptomus, and they blocked my money claiming a possible case of money laundering.
The funniest part is: I had withdrawn 10,000 USDT a few months earlier to the same wallet.

In other words, I was simply returning part of the money back to Cryptomus itself, and they’re suspicious of the transfer. It’s almost comical if not completely unprofessional.

To make matters worse, I used their own AML CHECKER tool, which supposedly audits the address and, to top it off, their own tool rated it as safe and risk-free! So all of this honestly makes me think it’s a joke.

They sent me a generic email asking for information, clearly a copy-and-paste template. I attached all the evidence, INCLUDING proof that the source of funds was Cryptomus itself, five days ago and I haven’t received a single reply.

I want this resolved. I’ll gladly come back here to say it was fixed. But for now, I recommend staying far away from this exchange! Be very careful when depositing money there.

If they fix this mistake, I’ll come back here!

Update: They just added the balance to my account. I believe it was a mistake, but they fixed it and didn’t withhold my money.

Scammed

The worst compliance service, whose goal is to block your funds due to high risk. It's a shame that there is a complete lack of customer focus, and support agents don't read or study the information properly. I do not recommend interacting with this platform in any way! Instead of paying for the service, they simply stole the funds.

I have been scammed on their P2P…

I have been scammed on their P2P marketplace, it appears to me that merchats are not properly verified. Most of the merchants had around 10-20 deals which is nothing and means they mostly create accounts for scamming people.

Customer Support experience was decent but each individual response took a very long time.

I am not blaming Support for not reimbursing the funds, but the platform itself doesn`t match it's own standarts in complience.

I recommend Cryptomus as a beginner custodial wallet platform, it's intuitive and easy in use.

Scammed

I paid for a service through Cryptomus, but the payment was blocked.
They requested confirmation of funds.
We provide a video file upscaling service. Users pay us money for our work.
As I understand it, according to Cryptomus' rules, I have to send them screenshots of payments made by users to our service. This is simply unrealistic. No service will ask you to take a screenshot of a payment so that you won't be blocked in the future by Cryptomus or similar services.

Fraud dispute lies

I filed a dispute with this payment processor regarding a fraudulent transaction, and they failed to assist me in accordance with Consumer Protection Bureau rules. Be very cautious when dealing with them. If a merchant uses this processor, be aware that they will likely side with the merchant rather than the customer.

They closed my dispute within just two hours, multiple times of sending me an email—at night, while I was sleeping, effectively stonewalling me. This shows a lack of fairness and proper consumer protection. Proceed with extreme caution if you ever have to rely on them in a dispute.
