I had a terrible experience with Cryptonomy. They stole my money, and despite numerous attempts to get it back, I had no choice but to file a police report. I hope the criminals behind this scam are caught soon.

What’s even more concerning is how Trustpilot is censoring negative reviews. It seems like they’re removing comments to hide the truth and protect Cryptonomy. Before Trustpilot deletes this review, they should investigate the issue properly. I have evidence, and I’m not the only one who has been scammed.

I’ve warned my Telegram community, encouraging others to report this to the police if they’re affected. We need to stand together against these scams. Stay cautious and don’t be fooled by false promises.

I deposited 35 xrp I did not see I had to deposit at least 50 but it took what I deposited instead of putting in my account to get over 50 I have a zero balance smh be careful

I have had a mixed experience with Cryptonomy. On the positive side, their support is professional and fast, resolving issues like deposit problems in about 15 minutes. They also offer a good instant swap utility with no fees, which has worked smoothly for me. However, I had a concerning issue where my funds were moved to a fixed 12-month term without my authorization, though I'm currently working with their finance team to resolve it. Overall, while there are some promising aspects, this experience tempers my confidence in their services. Three stars.

I got scammed and bullshitted
I got scammed and bullshitted. I wanted to withdraw my funds after having invested in a fixed term contract. Long story short, they reinvested my funds without my permission and told me it was me. They refuse to release my other funds so that I can withdraw it. Do not 🚫🚫🚫 invest with cryptonomy!!! You will never see your funds again. I will keep on posting everyday until my funds are released and returned to me. I have seen that I will have to seek legal advice as well to get my crypto back into my wallet. After staking my tokens on Cryptonomy for the 12 month lock up period I went to withdraw my funds to another wallet and instead of sending me my funds they restaked my tokens. I filed a complaint and was told that I must have did it. I had other tokens getting unlocked 3 days after this event and before I could even attempt to send my tokens to my wallet the restaked them and are claiming that I restaked them. I’m guessing that this is there scam and how I never get my tokens back. Until a lawsuit is filed

After conducting an in-depth investigation into Cryptonomy.finance, including reviewing user feedback on Trustpilot and researching their claims, I feel compelled to warn others about the numerous red flags that make this platform highly risky. Here's what I found:

1. Suspicious Insurance Claims:

Cryptonomy.finance claims to have billions of pounds in insurance, which initially sounded reassuring. However, upon further investigation, I discovered that the so-called "insurance" is actually based on stock shares, not actual coverage for your assets. This distinction is crucial. There’s a significant difference between legitimate insurance for your assets and a claim backed by volatile stock shares that the company can manipulate at will​

2. Misleading Company History and Registration:

Cryptonomy claims to have been in business from 2019 to 2024, but official filings show that the company was only registered in 2023. This discrepancy, combined with the lack of any real record on Archive.org prior to 2023, suggests they may be fabricating their history to appear more established than they actually are​

3. High APRs and Withdrawal Issues:

While the platform offers attractive high APRs, the withdrawal process has been problematic for many users. Numerous reviews highlight issues with locked funds and failed withdrawal attempts. For example, one user reported that after attempting to withdraw, their funds were locked into a long-term staking option without their consent. Other users have described being unable to access their funds, with customer support offering little help​

4. Lack of Transparency and Fake Team Profiles:

Cryptonomy uses stock photos for their team members and provides little to no information about who is actually running the platform. This lack of transparency is a red flag, as legitimate platforms typically offer clear details about their team and their operations​

5. Questionable Partnerships and Custodial Claims:

Cryptonomy claims to partner with well-known custodians like Bitgo and Fireblocks, which would imply high-level security for your assets. However, Bitgo has publicly denied any affiliation with Cryptonomy, casting doubt on these claims and further questioning the platform’s legitimacy​

6. Promises of FCA Regulation:

Cryptonomy has promised to achieve FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) regulation within three months. While this would be a positive step, such promises are often made by platforms to attract more users. Until they can prove they have secured real regulatory compliance, these claims should be viewed with skepticism​

7. User Complaints and Trustpilot Reviews:

A significant number of Trustpilot reviews, particularly one-star ratings, share alarming stories about users being unable to withdraw their funds or having them frozen in non-consensual staking contracts. Some users have even reported having their funds "stolen" after attempting to withdraw, only to be met with denials and customer support claiming no record of the issue​

Proceed with Extreme Caution!!

Based on my investigation and the alarming number of complaints from other users, I strongly advise against investing in Cryptonomy.finance. The combination of misleading claims, blocked withdrawals, suspicious partnerships, and unverified insurance makes this platform extremely risky. I’ve also noticed that many users are not receiving the support they expect when issues arise, further adding to the concerns.

Recommendation:

Avoid Cryptonomy.finance unless they can provide real transparency, proof of regulatory compliance, and a consistent track record of delivering on their promises. Always exercise caution, and never invest more than you're willing to lose.

I also just got Scammed by these Guys. On 11/14/2024 they Withdrew all my Flexible Accounts and Then placed the Funds in Locked/Fixed Accounts and wont allow them to be Withdrawn for 12months. Even Stranger, they withdrew my Flexible accounts on 11/14/2024 but Started some of the Fixed Accounts on 11/12/2024 even before the Flexible Accounts were withdrawn. Im Contacting the SEC in the United States and the The UK equivalent of the SEC, Financial Conduct Authority. Please if anyone wants to get together and File a Lawsuit against them Post a link or a social site we can all meet up on. I'm willing to Invest A LOT of money for a Class action Lawsuit Against them ASAP. Or if anyone found away to Resolve this Issue with them please post something here Explaining How. We currently have PDFs and screen shots of all transactions as well as our login days and times. All information has been presented to our lawyer dealing with the case as well as we were instructed to no longer respond to Cryptonomy or leave any messages with their AI chatbot. As for other viewers of these reviews, If you have money on their platform and they are legit then it shouldn't affect you or their company at all if you withdraw all your funds for 24 to 48 hours and if successful return all your funds back to their platform. It Will Not affect their company and the only thing you will lose out on is 24 to 48 hours of apy. Just a Suggestion. Stay Safe People

Thanks guys on letting us know how thier trick works as of right now I did tried to withdraw all of my funds and few hours later it magically got moved to fixed 12 months without my authorization good thing that I read the reviews so I recorded videos and took screenshots.. rightnow I’m waiting for the finance guy on cryptonomy to talk to me and if they try to rug pull me then I will file a complaint on SEC with every screenshot and vids I got

Update as of 11/19 still haven’t got any response to my emails so I will assume that my funds is gone

Decent platform with a good cryptocurrency list support. Same with online chat with their agents. So far everything's running smooth both in/out transactions, and decent apy's.

My launchpool contract ended 3 months ago after one year, and I haven't received my funds. Please help me out, I need my money!!!

After multiple attempts to resolve a crypto withdrawl issue with Cryptonomy I remain unsuccessful. I was provided false promises on a few different occasions. Jerry a Support Manager with Cryptonomy told me my withdrawl issue would be resolved by their finance department all that i had to do was reach out to them and they could reverse changes to my wallets transactions told resolve my issue.

A little over 24 hours had past but I never received a response back from their finance department. I followed back up with Cryptonomy chat support again to request escalation. I was told by Valery a Support Manager with Cryptonomy that someone from the Finance department would respond back to me within 12 hours. Again no response well after the 12 hours. I reached back out again and was chatting with Valerie once again regarding my issue. Provided the details to her and the chat went silent. Finally I was able to reach another member of the their Support Manager team Matthew. I informed Matthew of my troubles and stated that I decided to start withdrawing my funds due to liquidity issues experienced with trying to exchange FET.AI. Matthew stated that they did not have any liquidity issues so I sent him as recent screenshot from my discussion with Jerry showing the exact opposite of Matthews claim of no liquidity issues with Cryptonomy. I always like to give companies the benefit of the doubt and be able resolve issues at the lowest level but my issue has dragged out for to long. I want others to be aware of the issues I have encountered and consider safer alternatives.

In response to your statement the information your support staff provided you is not correct. 2 of Support Managers (Jerry and Valery) assured me that my concern could be easily resolved. No mention of penalty withdraws were mentioned nor should i be penalized for withdrawing my funds when i did not authorize them to be there in the first place. The Senior Support Manager Matthew informed me there was no liquidity issues with your platform so i shared a screenshot of the Chat GUI with Jerry that states otherwise. I can provide copys of the GUI Support chat and the chat history logs to support my claim if you would like. I will also add that the finance never responded to my request via email. All that I am asking is for my full crypto currency amount to be returned and my issue will be resolved.

Over two months have passed since I reported my Customer Service issue to Cryptonomy.Finance directly and then posting on Trustpilot after not getting adequate support. SInce reporting my issue I have not received a response from Cryptonomy directly nor a resolution. This strongly shows how Cryptonomy does not value their customers despite providing prompt notification of issues that could have been quickly resolved...

Antes que todo, gracias por haber respondido a mi reclamo, pero de antemano le puedo decir al equipo de trabajo de CRYTONOMY o a los departamentos que estan encargados de procesar los reclamos que para nada dije ni hable tal cosa en los chat con el equipo de soporte de chat en vivo, tengo todos los chat descargados y puedo mostrarlos, si hable de que me sentia estafado pero para nada dije que habia creado por error una launchpool, actualicense bien de lo ocurrido porque al parecer les dieron mal la informacion, yo habia solicitado un retiro de mis fondos a otra direccion y en el apartado transacciones aparecia como en estado pendiente el retiro, pocas horas mas tarde desaparecio de ahi y aparecio como una supuesta launchpool de 1 año de duracion donde los agentes del chat me decian que lo mas probable es que la hubiera creado por error, y creame que insistieron en que no habia ninguna opcion de cancelar el launchpool y ahora resulta que me dicen que pagando una penalidad si se puede hacer, o sea tengo que pagar por algo que no hice pero como yo eleve mi reclamo a varios influencer de peso en la plataforma y ellos hicieron reclamos pues entonces ahora me dan una respuesta, les escribi al correo de soporte (support(arroba)cryptonomy.finance) y nunca me respondieron, todo era por el chat y me daban las mismas respuestas sin opciones alguna, cambiare mi opinion si pueden resolver mi problema y devolverme el acceso a mis fondos para ser yo quien decida que hacer con ellos, no deseo esperar 1 año con mi dinero congelado. First of all, thank you for having responded to my claim, but in advance I can tell the CRYTONOMY team or the departments that are in charge of processing the claims that I did not say anything in the chat with the support team at all. live chat, I have all the chat downloaded and I can show them if I could feel cheated but at all I said that I had mistakenly created a launchpool, update well on what happened because at the same time they gave them the information wrong, I had requested a withdrawal of my funds to another address and in the transfers section it appears as pending the withdrawal a few hours later disappeared from there and appears as an alleged 1-year-old launchpool where chat agents told me that most likely, I would have created it by mistake, and believe me they insisted that there was no option to cancel the launchpool and now it turns out that they tell me that paying a penalty if it can be done, that is, I have to pay for something that it does not do but as I raised my claim to several weight influencers in the platform and they made even claims so now they give me an answer, wrote to the support email (support (at) cryptonomy.finance) and they never answered me, it was all because of the chat and they did not give me the same answers without any options, change my mind if they can solve my problem and return access to my funds to be the one who decides what to do with them, I do not want to wait 1 year with my frozen money. I await a response from the companies.

Total scam, YouTubers exposing these guys....they stole 65% of my money yet they gave Patrick Rooney (review below) his money back. They say that your money is locked up but they don't have any company, they don't have any investors so they're just lying just so they can steal your money. If your not a scam why don't you return my money...BTW, I invested with them For five minutes then I found out they were a scam and I asked for my money back and they stole 65% of it. I don't know why they keep putting 40 to 65 initially they said 40 then the next day they said 65 so this is a complete scam. If you're for real give me back the remainder of my money!!!! I invested it for five minutes then I asked for it to be returned!

I have been in the crypto space along time since 2013....i have come across many scams in my time and i can tell you that this website is a scam.

It says that you can stake XRP...i know for a fact XRP isnt a proof of stake and impossible to get the APR they are promising on a 12month fixed. Thats the first Red Flag.

If you have a company in the UK you will be registered in Companies House. According to the information there the company cryptonomy finance LTD was incorporated in nov 2023. If you look the cryptonomy website right at the bottom theres some text " Trusted by 480K+ people since 2019 "... clearly a lie 480k people since 2019....since you were actually incorporated in 2023.

Also....any crypto asset business in the UK has to be registered with the FCA.... if you check the FCA website FCA website there is no trace of cryptonomy finance being registered

you will not be able to find cryptonomy finance anywhere. So i can only conclude that this business is running illegally in the UK.

SO PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY INTO THIS ILLEGAL BUSINESS

It's weird that when topping up my account I need to write ticket to support so I'm waiting for the mobile app to automate this, but a logical explanation from team give me peace of mind and pleases me that withdrawals work automatically. I got an invitation to write a review after my fixed deposit of 1.9285 BTC was successfully completed and I got all the profits which I withdrew without any problems, but I waited for 2 hours. In general, everything as always and the main thing is that it works, I believe that the company deserves trust
