The company is a scam and essentially robs sellers of what they consign. I submitted 3 items 8 months ago and customer service has not been able to provide an update on where any of those items are. I... See more

I left items with CSD Marylebone store in Oct 2025. Whilst they were initially communicative with sell prices, my experience with them since has been awful. Despite 7-8 emails to 3 Consign's email addresses to request a statement they've sent nothing other than intermittent replies with feeble apologies and promises that the sales team will respond with a statement. It's now end April '26 and nothing's transpired. Chasing them is tiring and a waste of my time. I wouldn't usually resort to Trustpilot to comment but it seems the only way to get a response. Interestingly, the positive reviews on this site are largely from purchasers and not the many frustrated sellers who, like me, are attempting to sell through CSD and may never see any gains from their efforts. Appalling and rude service, I'd encourage sellers to avoid leaving items with CSD. If CSD read this please have the courtesy to send my statement and any funds owing.
FOLLOW UP- CSD since responded to my review. I’ve had no payment or contact from them, their response is nonsense.

Total scam, never receive communication and most importantly payment. Avoid consigning with them.
Further to your request for me to email you, I have sent nine emails clearly detailing the issue. Your continued failure to address this matter appears to be a deliberate attempt to avoid dealing with the outstanding payments.
I have been owed over £200 for 2 items sold 14 months ago. Not nearly as bad as many on here but completely dishonest company. I have written many many emails and am constantly fobbed off. I've looked up the company at companies house and the accountant's phone number and address is listed (as are the companies owners and statements of accounts) so my next step will be to approach him directly and see if he is legitimate.
I have also asked for the return of other items I left on consignment as I have no faith in this company, but struggling to get them returned.
The 1 star is for the staff who work in the store as they are always pleasant.
Absolute scam! Sellers beware! Do not consign with CSD who will take your items, sell them and NEVER pay you!! Over £1000 owed for months, zero customer service, rude staff, horrible experience! Stay away of this unethical business!
Do not consign with CSD! Similar experience to others and I wish I had of read the reviews here before deciding to consign with CSD. I dropped off over £1,700 worth of items back in September 2025. In January 2026 I followed up asking for an update on whether any of my items had sold, it is now late April and I still have no answer. I have chased at least every 2 weeks (often more frequently). Many emails go completely unanswered and I still have no answer as to whether any of my items are sold and I am therefore owed money. Truly terrible customer service. Avoid at all costs.
A TOTAL SCAM - like hundreds of other customers, I have been ignored by CSD for 6 months. They have sold 2 Gucci handbags yet completely ignore all emails and messages and I have had zero payments. I have reported them to the police, watchdog and trading standards. Absolutely appalling. PLEASE AVOID!!!
THIS IS A SCAM!
I was told my Burberry Trench Coat was sold and I’ve been chasing for my payment for 4 months now. I don’t even know the price it was sold for. Their business number doesn’t even work! From the UK!
SCAM! Absolute shame given the items we are entrusting them with.
Will NEVER see again with them.

They are thieves and scammers. No answers from anyone on email. Even the shop assistants said they don’t get paid! They owe me from items sold in November 2025 and my most prized item (Prada crocodile jacket) has gone missing. No one can tell me whether it sold or not and it’s not visible on my account. Disgusting
Terrible company to deal with ! Fobbed off endlessly for five months after eventually being told that my item had sold, and without telling me how much for !
Eventually, a small amount was deposited in to my account without any notification or statement as to how the amount was calculated !! And my query and request for a statement has gone unanswered.
I am furious and have spent SO much time emailing and calling without there even being an answer machine ……
AVOID this company like the plague. They are not fit for business.
23/04/2026 I’m adding to my review to say that I have STILL NOT received any reply /information / statement, regarding how the payment of £46.80 was calculated ?? This amount does NOT tally with the original amount discussed. And by the way, why is your telephone line still not working weeks and weeks later ?? Tala Malas, head of this brand, should not be allowed to continue trading !!
You have just replied to my review stating that you can see from my account that I have received a statement from CSD. This is untrue. I have not received any statement at all !!

UPDATE: Following my negative review below, I was contacted by CSD on 24 April 2026 and asked in writing: “Could you please provide your bank details so that our accounts team can attempt to process the payment owed to you without further delay?” I gave them my banking details again (reminding them that they already had them in the contract signed) and was told “these have now been passed on to our accounting team, who will proceed with processing the payment as a priority”. It has been well over a month since that email exchange, no payment has been received by me and the company is, again, no replying to my approaches so I’m having to retake my formal, legal complaint process, and I encourage clients in a similar situation to seek legal advice. This month, it will be a year since I received written acceptance of the consignment contract by CSD, so enough is enough.
It is shameful that, with so many clients in this situation (based on the reviews), this company continues to trade, heavily advertising for their services as if there was nothing wrong with it.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Do not use this company. As reported by others, it is a scam. I entrusted them with four expensive vintage items and, as reported by other users, the items are nowhere to be seen on their sales website or Marylebone shop (where I handed them in), not being accounted for, I have received no money for them and the company have now stopped replying to my messages. I am reporting them to Trading Standards after trying to get a straight answer from them and failing to and also considering taking them to Small Claims Court. I suggest others to do likewise. Perhaps we should consider a class action.
The bag is beautiful and the customer service team is kind, courteous and responsive. I look forward to my next purchase!
I have been chasing CSD weekly for over five months regarding payment for items I consigned, all of which I’ve been told have already sold. Throughout this entire period, I’ve received nothing but delays, vague explanations, and constant promises that “the sales team will follow "up"—which never actually happens.
I am still waiting for my payment, and at this point, the situation is completely unacceptable. I expect a clear update and immediate processing of the outstanding amount without any further delays.
At this stage, I genuinely feel scammed. The lack of accountability and communication is incredibly frustrating. This has easily been one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. I strongly advise others to stay away from this company.
I consigned items with CSD, and they were successfully sold in January 2026, yet I am still waiting to receive the payment.
Despite the return period having passed, the payment is still marked as pending, and I have had to send numerous emails over the past weeks simply to get updates. Each time I am told that the matter has been “passed to the relevant department” or that they are “chasing the accounting team,” but no clear payment date is ever provided.
This is actually the second time I have experienced a significant delay receiving money from CSD, which is extremely concerning as a consignor. A seller shouldn't need to chase a company for funds that are already due repeatedly.
I consigned items with CSD that were sold in January 2026, yet as of April 2026 I am still waiting to receive payment.
I am another very unhappy customer… I consigned two handbags to CSD in March 2025… apparently they were both sold in July 2025… for months and months I had to chase payment (weekly emails)… after 9 months I have only received half of my money - still hundreds of pounds outstanding… there is no way I would recommend this business… the stress experienced during this time has been quite severe.
I have only been payed after sending them a letter of action . Before multiple calls and emails didnt do anything, just confirming that they sold my items and my request had been forwarded to account department. They never notified that my item were sold, I only remembered when I saw their Battersea store was shut . And finally the amount I have been paid was significantly less then to the one in the agreement . Total scam
I gave them items which they valued at £4465 in January 2026. I did not receive a single account statement or notification of anything being sold. When I asked for them to return my items then they decided to tell me they had sold everything. I still haven’t got a single statement or a single penny from them. No idea when anything was sold or how much anything was sold for. They have basically stole all my items. I will be going to the small claims court to recover my funds. These people are criminals!! Stay far far away
Great max Mara glasses. Mint condition. I lost my pair in an Uber and wanted to replace them - found the exact pair. So happy to have them back! Shipping took a week or so due to importing from other country. Came with the same packaging as the original.
BIGGEST SCAM AND ABSOLUTE TIME WASTERS
I gave this store 2 pairs of jean's worth £1,500 EACH back in May 2025. They had already priced it at a stupidly low price but i just needed the money so i trusted them with my items. I decided to chase at the end of 2025 to see if they had sold, to which they replied no. Weird as i couldn’t see them online but thought nothing of it.
Until nearly a year later when i decided to chase again, nearly 23 emails later i was told they had been sold. I asked many questions like when were these sold, how much for and when will i receive my money… To which i got a reply saying ‘i don’t have that information, i’m waiting on the sales team to respond’
Weirdly enough the sales team don’t have a contact number for the public.
I then thought let me check the reviews and it all made sense. Scam artists. In some of the most prestigious locations, it’s mind boggling. I will be taking legal action against this company. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ITEMS. I think i might make good out of my home printer and print out ‘CSD IS A SCAM’ all around london until i get my money :)
I purchased a black top that had a faint white stain on the front. The salesperson explicitly stated that the stain would wash out and demonstrated this by wetting the garment, which made the stain temporarily disappear. This misrepresentation directly influenced my decision to proceed with the purchase.
After subsequently washing the item properly, the stain remains clearly visible and has not come out.
I contacted the store to request a refund. They have refused, relying on their store policy and asserting that the stain was visible at the time of purchase. However, this does not address the fact that a clear and specific misrepresentation was made that the stain would wash out, which has proven to be incorrect. After several email exchanges with the customer support it became clear that they take absolutely no responsibility in this, blame me for having purchased a stained item, and refuse to refund me for it. They even went as far as to say they won't even exchange it for store credit because I had washed it (this was required in order to try to get the stain out and wear it!). This is clearly not a professional and honest company, was one of the worst consumer experiences I've ever had, and I will not be shopping there again.
