Had a great experience with CSJ in Lithgow for a full house of windows and doors there fitters are well experienced and will leave your house clean and tidy and the aftercare they provide is difficult class I would not hesitate to recommend this company really pleased with my new windows and doors , highly recommend

There are some good reviews for their install. Which is okay tbf. But wait until something goes wrong. One of my window seals burst after maybe 5 years or something. Have tried to get them to come and do something about it, but 7 calls later (over about a year or so) they just do not let you speak to the appropriate person and havent phoned back once.

Actually, I am mistaken they accidently cold called me with sales nonsense once, and the guy said he couldn't put me through to the department that would deal with a fix, even though they are a very small company. Very convenient!

I had other quotes from salespeople of 3 other companies that sucked through their teeth and tut-tutted about how bad my glazing was and they were pushy and annoying. By comparison I was impressed from the outset by the openness and professionalism of the CSJ salesperson and surveyor who answered all my questions knowledgeably and freely. No hard sell. The fitters were friendly, polite, respected my property and space, cleaned up fastidiously, and made an immaculate job of my 5 windows, 2 doors and porch surround with the minimum of disruption. The team of 3 fitters were exceptionally well coordinated and efficient and worked tirelessly without breaks or any chatting or faffing around over the two days. The windows and doors appear to be of very good quality. I will definitely ask CSJ to replace my soffits and fascias next year.

Good experience from start to finish. I had 3 windows and a new door fitted by this company. The 2 engineers worked very hard and were extremely professional. I was delighted with the end result, and would not hesitate to recommend them. I had a problem with one of the windows a few weeks later [my fault, not theirs] and someone arrived the next day to fix. I was very impressed, as I do not live in the same area as their premises. First Class service.

Simply an excellent experience can highly recommend. Update after initially stating they would send invoices and guarantees have heard nothing from them whatsoever

Impossible to contact. I eventually went along to their workshop to try to get an answer. Still waiting on my replacement door since December 😒

Had some older windows replaced by CSJ last week and they were great. Everything was explained really clearly and arranged easily. On the day the guys arrived and just cracked on, did a great job. 100% would recommend

Had CSJ come over and try to sell me windows, as it happened, I wanted new windows and a back door with joined window and was about to go to CR Smith who I had recently got a new front door from. I went with CSJ and it was arranged very quickly. The lads turned up and got to work, they mentioned it might take 2 days but managed it in one day. No shade on CR Smiths work who were also good but csj were faster and used real wood rather than MDF on the surround they needed to replace. Very happy with the results and would recommend. I have just had 15 windows put in, the work was very professional and Brian and Liam were very hard working, tidy, and very polite.
they never stopped and you would'nt have known they had been working in the house, everything was left very tidy, it just needs wiped down, as expected.
Would I recommend this company? yes I would.

And they did a great job . The team of George,John and Andy were very professional and there was no mess left behind. This was our first time using CSJ and we were suitably impressed.

I recently got new windows and doors installed at my property the workmanship was done in tidy and timely manner and not would not hesitate to recommend.

I recently had new windows fitted in Tranent. The workers were on time, courteous, very neat and tidy and took away all the waste. The workers very politely refused any type of reward. I would have no hesitation recommending this company.

I have a very polite notice on my door asking salesmen not to call as I have health problems. Today I saw one of this firms reps in my street. Knock on the door and when I got there it was the rep. He muttered something I didn't catch and walked away laughing. I think this says all you need to know about this company and how they treat the public

Had one of the Csj boys chap the door saying he had done a few of our neighbours in the street, so he was a good sales guy cause a usually say no, but a thought a have seen the vans in the street few times, so decided to give the company a go in they were very professional in down to earth with what we needed done, so glad cause we got fitted today in we’re are over the moon thanks so much Csj in the guy who chapped the door. The wife loves them thanks so much highly recommend!!!

I live in the North East of Scotland and purchased windows and doors from csj in 2016, with a 10 year insurance backed gaurantee, when they were based in Falkirk. They have now moved to Grangemouth and appear to have abandoned clients like myself in the North East. My interior rear door handle broke at the weekend, leaving us unable to egress via the back door (a fire safety issue perhaps?). I contacted them on Monday and was told there were no Engineers available as they were too busy in the Central Belt - a manager would be in contact. No manager contacted me and I ended up purchasing a replacement door handle set myself. Very disappointed with their lack of commitment to honouring their 10 year gaurantee.

Right from the beginning when Gavin came to see the windows and to give us a quote he was friendly, helpful and not the usual sales pitch. He was professional and talked us through every little detail and explained the best windows for us.
Three weeks later the guys came to do the fitting they are absolutely brilliant Brian, Liam and Jock did a fantastic job they were friendly answering any questions we had. They put lots of dust sheets down and hoovered up and downstairs before they left. About half an hour after the workmen left Gavin came to see if everything was ok. I can't recommend this company enough and I don't understand the bad reviews it doesn't make sense because every step of the way it was handled very professionally and friendly.

Sales rep turned up to the house to sell us windows. Rude to both me and my partner, telling us how we’re young and don’t know what we’re doing. We explained we don’t want to buy windows and instead of saying ‘okay’ he stood at the door and berated us for 15 minutes about how the windows we’ve bought are not good and the company we have bought them from is a scam. He even went so far as to look up the company we went for and read us reviews (most of them very positive). If he was just looking out for us as he said he was, he did a rubbish job. No chance we are going to look at using this company if that’s their initial pitch.

We tasked them to build a small extension, shouldn't have. We had issues with them from the beginning, specifications not met, "oversights" in terms of what should been done that delayed the work, rudeness when we pointed out any issues or deviations from the specifications we supplied.
We were blamed for and insulted after every oversight that we dared to bring to the project managers attention who never ever apologized for missing or mixing up deliverables.
The initially quoted 1 month lead time was never met, due to orders messed up by the project manager (but that delay is apparently out of his hand)
Worst of that the build is still not completed, issues are not addressed, door hinges falling apart and the project manager is demanding payments that are due when the build is complete
Warranty paperwork is complete joke, details mistyped, claiming build compled in 1970...

Oh, of course they changed me 20% VAT on insulation because apparently the government is wrong? Insulation for residential properties is charged at 0% from 2022 for 5 years, look it up

Cannot fault this company. Helpful and efficient from start to finish. Sales guys were not pushy at all and were genuinely working with my budget without trying to push for more, fitters reliable and efficient and very tidy. Great job and will definitely use again - only replaced windows and door at the front of my house - will get them back for the back windows and door in due course. Highly recommended! Keep up the good work guys!
