The training was excellent
The training was excellent, presenter was awesome, knowledgeable, enjoyable, and comical. Content and worksheet resources were great too.
Our group left the training feeling more equipped and more tools when working with clients but also self care as the helper.

One of the webinar I bought about Trauma-Informed Leadership by Randy Grieser was not a good one. It was not informative nor insightful, not much information there. Also, the speaker did not control his voice well, sometimes very soft and other times suddenly too loud. The notes are not the same as the powerpoint slides and at times a bit confusing. I did not learn anything new from this webinar.

Highly Recommend
Every online learning module I've completed and the Podcasts give bite-sized or bigger insights into trauma and healing processes in the counselling field which are easy to integrate into my practice. Adding new titles, introducing respected practitioners and offering pdf files for reference are some the benefits of membership. Thank you for such a broad range of topics and resources. I hope to take an in-person course soon.

The facilitator was excellent
The facilitator was excellent. Although it was recording, the facilitator shared a lot of valuable work/life experience that made the training interesting enough to reflect on it for days and weeks after completion.

I have been paying the CTRI monthly for…
I have been paying the CTRI monthly for some time but I am not seeing the benefits to doing so. I completed the one hour webinars in the Library some time ago and not seen anything new added in the last couple of years. I am not sure how my subscription is benefitting me and should close my account. I have been frustrated with set up and have voiced this in the past. The listing of the completed webinars is incomplete and inaccurate (eg indicating a percentage of a webinar finished when I have completed it and received the certificate). The list appears to be recorded randomly, neither chronologically or alphabetically, making it difficult to match it to the Library. Webinars are also not dated to know how old they are and whether anything new has been added. I have had issues logging on but have heard from colleagues that this is common. Lastly, the responses to my query with the exception of the last one, have been nil or slow and have not addressed the issues.

More evidence based knowledge and less participant experiences, please
The speaker was well versed in the area of Harm Reduction and had a nice demeanor. I could have used more evidence-based content and less group discussions. I signed up to learn about Harm Reduction, not to talk to other participants about their experiences. I would also have appreciated for the slides and/or the manual to contain all of the information presented.

An excellent training
The presenter was very knowledgeable. The training was well organized. The training materials were available beforehand. There were section summaries throughout the presentation. The presenter offered stories and examples from his own experience. The small group conversations and practices were also helpful to retaining the information.

Excellent seminar
Excellent seminar. The information was organized and well presented. The speaker connected the information to the listener as if it were a live seminar. The speaker's experience was relevant and his transparency of how he has learned from each interaction was helpful.

Above and Beyond
I had a difficult time at an in-person event and CTRI's staff was very understanding and kind and helped me get into a virtual training. They went above and beyond to be accommodating and I am very thankful.
