Attention

Attention, travelers! Thinking of purchasing a senior rail card? Here's a firsthand experience you might want to consider before spending your hard-earned £3000.00. After buying the card, I found it to be completely ineffective and faced challenges when trying to reach out for support online—no response whatsoever. Refused to bear the customer’s economic…

Refused to bear the customer’s economic losses caused by Ctrip's own work mistakes, the ticket was cancelled without any form of notice, and the responsibility was transferred to the airline partner Phillippines Royal Air.

I booked a flight ticket from Manila - Wuxi on Ctrip April 12, Until the time I check in at counter in NINOY terminal 1 on April 21, 7:30am, the counter staff told me my ticket was cancelled by Royal Air , I am so confuse, then I call Ctrip, they said Flight company didn’t receive my swan test and IGG test result, that’s why Royal air cancelled my ticket, but during the whole thing, there is no one from Ctrip even a call, or a email to notice me about this thing

In fact, the airline will send the pre-flight details to the airline agency after confirming the ticket order. but Ctrip does not admit to receiving detailed notices from airline partner Phillippines Royal Air.
Ctrip only said which we follow are from government instruction, but if not follow airline policy also, how can we success boarding airplane during this special CONVID-19 TIME,

Ctrip refuse to return my ticket amount 16442CNY, and said: it's your problem which not follow airline policy, how can I follow without any contact by you Ctrip? who can told me?

They just shirk responsibility to their customers and partners, don't book flight ticket on Ctrip.

Customer service is a joke

I have encountered tech issue while using their site. I even recorded a short video to demo the problem -- it keeps asking me to log in (after I already logged in).

I emailed the customer service detailing the problem and attached the video. Got no replies for 2 days, so I sent another one. This time, I received a canned response back said I need to "provide a mobile number bound to the account". Well, since their site REQIURES you to provide a mobile number to create a new account so of course I already have a mobile # with my account.

I replied that I do have a mobile number and here comes the most interesting reply "The problem may be that the system automatically cleans up and sends it back. Customers are advised to download our Trip.com app".

Seriously? If they can't get their site to function properly, then why bothered to have a web site AT ALL?

Worst online agent ever!

Worst ever agent to buy air tickets from.

Price are slightly cheaper that attracts you in but behold if anything happens with flight change or related matters... ctrip is not helpful in any way. They will present THE only thing to do is customer to sort the situation out themselves... including being stranded in a foreign country because their “supplier” is on holiday.... how much unreasonable “delegation” is thrown back as the customer's responsibility especially when they were the ones who screwed up my flight schedule is MESSED up. This is happening too often for me to ever use them again. It's the final straw!

My latest flight drama - the airline rescheduled my partner's and my flight to the following day. As it doesnt work out, we instructed Ctrip to contact the Airline to reschedule my flight to an earlier flight of the same day as my original return flight date AND cancel my partners return flight. We already checked both is doable with the airline ourselves but because we purchased via a middle person, the middle man must.request on the system.

Simple instructions really. BUT NO!

Ctrip cancelled both mine and my partner's flights. First, they tried to convince us that it is better to cancel and rebook (not true as we already checked it was WAY more expensive - the cost of a 2-way flight for merely just a return flight.)

2. Told us it is not possible to do any rescheduling as there is no flight available (the earlier flight was not even full!)

3. Called and emailed me to tell me to turn up at the airport on my preferred scheduled flight time and talk to ground staff

After battling back and forth for 2 days with the same message via a numerous amount of calls (this is 2 full days from 10am to before we slept at midnight), Ctrip informs me, everything has been sorted so I asked for a written confirmation, which turned out to be a BIG FAT LIE!

When we checked our itinerary directly from the airline, it shows we both were back on the same flight the airline initially delayed us on!

We immediately called the airline directly and learnt, Ctrip had cancelled our return flight and rescheduled us back on the same delayed flight. Now, if we were to do ”anymore” changes + do a no show for my partner, we would need to pay a surcharge of almost 700 Ringgits each!!!!!

Ctrip did absolutely nothing but to make the situation worst and then proceeds to tell me I was to sort the situation out myself! The message was clearly conversed verbally, via email and their app CS chat box. How is this the responsibility of a flight center?

The phone calls with their CS staff was also painful to say the least. Although they were able to “speak” English, they are unable to process the information you give them and provide any flexible thinking to the situation at hand!

This is only 1 incident in my recent trips. Out of the 3 trips I booked via them recently in the 4 months, all of them had issues.

My advice, if you want the cheap tickets and any hassle that comes with it because if any unforeseeable changes, go ahead and book with Ctrip. Also bare in mind the international call fees that I dont get back.

Ctrip, if you have want me to change my review, you can contact me via my latest reservation ( ref - 9453252347)

Don't trust Trip.com

Worst. Customer. Service. Ever.

If you don't spam calling them in English, Chinese + your second language you picked in your high school, they just won't answer your mails.

My partner and I booked tickets for a …

My partner and I booked tickets for a holiday for our honeymoon to Florida. Unfortunately with the visa situation for Chinese nationals, I have been declined my visa twice, although I thought that with buying tickets it would make it easier. I phoned Ctrip in Hong Kong and was told that all I could do was change the date but was unable to change the destination. I told them that I did not want a refund, just a change of destination due to the visa problem. This was totally out of the question and they told me if I cancelled I would only get 1000 rmb back. We paid 11000 rmb in total.

Need to know how to get in touch with Ctrip for a concern

My husband bought Xiamen-Zhou Shan-Xiamen tickets few weeks ago. Unfortunately, we can't use the Zhou Shan-Xiamen tickets because we need to go Shanghai. We want to either refund the tickets or use it for our future trip. Nkrmally this kind of concern is a piecw of cake ans can be done using their websitw but ours is a different situation. My husband used an old China number to buy the tickets. The system sends a password to that number. Unfortunately we are not Chinses residents so that number is already inactive so there is no way we can get the password. When we approached the Ctrip counters in the airport, they shoo us away saying they can't help us! Talk about "customer service" in China. So what do we do now? Anyone out there who can assist us?
