Great customer service

Great customer service. The agents were very helpful and informative and got me booked in last minute for my storage needs. I would recommend them to anyone who needs on site storage!

An absolute nightmare from start to…

An absolute nightmare from start to finish. No communication between locations. Late pick up, marked for storage instead of long distance move. Paid a deposit only to be told our Cube wasn't shipped when it was scheduled due to not paying balance. We have an email from a CSR that stated our deposit was sufficient. Had to wait almost 2 hours for our cube to be located in their strorage facility, then moved to be unloaded. When we were told it would be waiting and ready for us..If you can't get movers you would be better off selling your belongings and starting new..

No solutions

Where do we begin. We choose these guys for the convince factor. They dropped the bin off a few days before which was handy to load on our schedule. The day it was to be picked up I got a call saying it was delayed because of a truck breakdown. I was ok with that I said as long as it got picked up the next day as that was the day we lose possession of the house we owned. They then called at 1pm the next day and said they can’t pick up the bin again as the truck is still not working. So now I have a container with all my worldly possessions on a property I do not currently own. We had to call them repeatedly and got lip service and the run around. It is now 5 days later and still this has not been resolved. Not once have they called us to update us, we have had to call them every time to see what is going on. They have no problem taking your money but they seem to think it’s ok to not live up to their side of the agreement. If anyone from upper management reads this it would be nice to hear from you as we can’t get past the gatekeepers of case managers. If this is what we get for going with a Canadian owned company I would have gone with the cheaper American firm.

Cubeit delivered 5 containers to my new…

Cubeit delivered 5 containers to my new neighbors house and in the process one truck ran over our paving stones causing the to sink into the ground.got ahold of company wright away went through a ton of bs and finally after a week got head office to agree to paying the 278.25 for the repairs . Still never got check or does anyone answer emails about this any more . This company talks big but does not stick to thier word . Very disappointing and will never recomend anyone useing this company . You should do what you said your going to do not lead peaple on until the job is done then just ignore the problem your driver caused .

Cube it was scheduled to pick up our…

Cube it was scheduled to pick up our cube exactly 4 days prior to the new owners taking possession of our house. We are now going on a week overdue for pick up and they can't seem to do anything about it. The new buyers would like to move into the house but the cube is still in the driveway. When I call I am told our case is handed off to someone else and that there is nothing that can be done. If you are moving and require a company that is reliable with time do not choose this one.

Worst experience of my life...

Worst experience of my life...
Everything started off good, I was given a quote and the bin was delivered and picked up on time. Then it all fell apart, I called to have the bin delivered to my new house and was told they never shipped it to the new location and it would be 14 days before it would come. After many phone calls I was able to get it dropped off 2 days later, not great but better than 14 days. After all that I was charged an additional $580 for the drop off! The quote was $90, so again with phone calls, the resolution now is they are going to wave another $280 they planned on charging me to come pick the bin up!!
A U-Haul truck cost me $700 total for milage and rental, plus they gave me a free month of storage at the destination.
I would never recommend anyone use Cubeit they are scammers and thieves.
This whole experience has cost me $1000's of dollars and incredible amounts of stress.

FALSE PROMOTION

UPDATE - Response to Cubeit reply dated July 05, 2021

If you are sincere in correcting this issue you have all my contact information you sent all your invoices to my email, you have my address and phone number.

We rented two container vans paid thousands of dollars and included on their quotation was the Costco Shop card. David Hayden told me that they will send the $100 Costco Shop card within 4 to 6 weeks after moving. So I waited for it and I just remembered about it last May 27 (more than 14 weeks since we moved in our new house) I called David and told me that he will inform HR. It is more than a month now (June 29) so I called David and he told me that according to HR it was already sent and used. I reiterated that I did not receive nor use it because if I got it I will not be calling him to follow-up for it. He said he cannot do anything because the HR told him that it was sent and used. I asked him if he can check the address maybe it was sent to our previous house or can they investigate who used it maybe they have control number or something that they can track it in Costco. After a long discussion, he just told me that he cannot do anything because it was used. I am so upset because he did not even offer to look into it or investigate and I was like “THAT’S IT”. He even told me to call Costco??? Why would I call Costco it should be their job to track it down and replace the Costco Card. I asked for the Manager in-charge and he told me he will call me back within 4 hours but I did not get any call. Just an FYI, I called again on June 30 and told the customer service agent to tell David to call me but did not hear back I will not recommend this company to my family and friends as they were not true to their marketing promotion!

Unreliable scheduling, don't depend on them

I had arranged for two containers to be delivered months in advanced. I needed them five days prior to moving out of my house. The day they were supposed to be delivered I received an email in the afternoon saying they had no containers to deliver.
It was a Thursday afternoon and I was left scrambling and stressing to find storage containers, movers, trailers, calling friends and finding some solution to the problem this company caused for me.
Do not use them, they can not deliver the goods when you need them and could have possibly costed us much more than we had to pay. Moving is stressful enough, find a reliable company.

Horrible....start to finish!

Horrible....start to finish!
I took the day off work to stay home because they insisted that it come at 7 am. They never came. THE WHOLE DAY. I called, they never called back! Finally, end of day they said that the truck broke down. I had hired two people to fill it for me. THEY SHOWED on the first day....but could not come back on day 2. which is when the cube arrived. Driver said that he broke down on Monday. Had to pay the movers.

Now it has been here awhile and i tried to get it removed because i need to take photos to sell my house...well, what do you know!!!! NOBODY IS AVAILABLE to pick it up....until mid-JUNE!
I was told to give two day window.
SO, now, i am so up the creek!!!!
MANY CALLS>>>>no one calls back. THIS IS MY LIFE..no one cares. The emotional nd financial costs are mounting. Videographer, photographer, cleaner, alternate rental paid for in advance. ALL PROBLEMS. HATE THEM

This company does not care about me and the trouble they have caused

I also heard that this happens often so that they can get their cubic free marketing and exposure on MLS globally and to buyers and agents I was told it is strategic. That they have no plans to help.

UPDATE:
My partner took over the calls as I was exhausted getting no where and offered the same assurances.
Therefore imagine my surprise on Monday morning when I call to find out that it was being picked up that same day.
I was the last call of the day the driver came approximately 1 or 2 p.m. and stated that they had been very busy
He was friendly and we were very grateful.
So we did not have to wait until mid June or end of June ... but the work was exhaustive and stressful to make this happen.
My advice would be get your pickup day in writing the day you book ...
Do not listen to customer services false promises ... and use the public forums to make sure that your voice is being heard by the people that it needs to get to
I do believe that our negative reviews helped get us support as well as the Relentless calling to all numbers (which by the way all ended up at the exact same place )
Case is resolved they picked up the unit ! Amen

Worst sales pitch ever

Worst sales pitch ever. We will help you with your street permit. We have done this many times. They refused to give the city of Cambridge the liability certificate they required so I had no choice but to cancel leaving me stuck to get a storage unit and truck rental. I called 5x to try and get what the city required. Please don't comment that you are sorry to hear about my situation cubeit. Because you are not. I already spoke to your senior staff. David was not helpful at all as a customer service rep. Don't use this company.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. I have had bad experience but this was probably the worst one I experienced. They can canceled the day of delivery and still charge you the delivery fee because they failed to explain that the road needed to be measured as well.

Delivered Wrong Unit to Our Home

Cubeit delivered the wrong unit to our home at the end of the work day and could not deliver the correct unit until the next morning. Left us with no bed, no couch, etc because all of our belongings were in the unit.

We had to take two unpaid days off work due to their error and we are not satisfied with their resolution. This is not a cheap service so I would have expected them to deliver the correct unit to the correct home on the correct day. None of that happened.

They seemed very unorganized when we were trying to locate our unit and doesn't seem like they have any care for the privacy and protection of their customer's belongings.

AMAZING SERVICE!!!

I was in a pinch with putting my home on the market and doing staging all while juggling two children doing online schooling and a brand new baby on top of that. I'm a single mom and was at my breaking point when I called Cubeit. When the phone was ringing i was dreading how daunting I thought the process might be but then someone answered the phone,Her name was Miranda. She was so welcoming and understanding of my situation and took her time explaining how everything worked. At one point during the call my baby started crying and I needed to feed him and my son had just asked me about a science question for school, Miranda told me to put her on speaker and to go feed the baby and she helped my son with his science until I was able to resume the call. She was such a blessing to my little family and I booked with her for that reason alone, INCREDIBLE service. If you need a container I definitely suggest Cubeit, ask for Miranda I would have been lost without her.

I highly recommend not to deal with…

I highly recommend not to deal with this company ever! They provide the worst service, if one could name it so. Staff and management are absolutely not helpful and give false information about their prices. Be careful, they will send you invoice for each their move. If you decide to move forward, then they will tell you, that they are not doing this and that, and you will end with not knowing what you have paid for.
Also this business absolutely not working, if you are moving from or to condo. Expect great problems and paying several times more, then with regular movers and storage.
If something will not going according plan, don't expect any help from their management. They are absolutely useless, and don't make a move to help customers.
My opinion, that this business is working for itself, but not for customers. They think that customers exist just to pay their invoices.

Truly awful experience

Truly awful experience. Despite having the conversation about moving and how quickly the container could be back with me....it turns out that that portion of the work hadn't been booked and that was somehow my fault (like I don't work there and know the process) ...so despite thinking it was arriving any day, instead on enquiry find out that it is still in Edmonton Alberta. Fast forward 18 days - already charged another month rental of the pod - promised delivery imminent today or tomorrow... Next day, am told the pod has now arrived in the local depot in Victoria. Have been charged for delivery. Told that they can't actually deliver it to my new house because the pod is not the right one for the delivery truck - the problem is offloaded onto me as I am asked whether I can come and unload my stuff from the depot... or if I want to rent a truck to move my household belongings to a new address.

Extended charges for their busy schedule

I rented a cubeit storage unit in the Spring and requested pick up in August when we were finished with the unit. I was advised that they could retrieve the unit because they were too booked. The unit was located at our business location which is extremely busy during September at very specific times during the day. I e-mailed and spoke to a company representative on the phone to tell them when not to come for the unit as our parking lot would not be navigable. Unfortunately, that is precisely the time the delivery truck arrived. A rude driver told me I needed to have numerous vehicles removed so he could retrieve the unit. This was impossible due to heavy traffic and I asked him to wait 15 minutes when the traffic dispersed. This was impossible. As a result, I was charged for an extra month, was given a new date, when I ensured that the path was clear. The booking team made an error on the date and a truck did not appear. I was charged for yet another month for October rental which I have just been told will be reversed. However, September rent will not be reimbursed. The late pick up due to the fact that they were too busy in August, plus the arrival of the delivery company at a time when it was repeatedly told was impossible should not have been my responsibility.
My son recently moved and used a storage unit from Big Steel Box at exactly the same time as and for same amount of time as we did. He had to extend two months and asked for a pick up within a few days. It was done without question. They have excellent customer service and are available when you need them and work around your schedule. I will not use CUBEIT again and recommend that you do not either.

I have used this service and have had a total positive experience. Prompt, efficient and friendly.....except for the BS about sending you a monetary incentive for a referral. Why even tell you about it if they dont plan on honouring it. Very disappointing.

The contract is just a trap

The contract is just a trap, it is out your control once you assigned. You wouldn't get any responses after over charged, does't matter whatever you called. I am so upset and tired for this experience in my life. Don't connect with Cubeit please.

It is a nightmare for my family after signed contract with Cubeit on August 10th, 2020. Cubeit did not brought necessary insurance for delivery containers in some areas; It caused sooooo many issues and delays. My container stays at the storage for weeks and waiting for Cubeit get insurance, at same time Cubeit did over charge without any notices. Terrible company!
