THINK TWICE BEFORE USING CUBEIT AND BE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THEIR GOUGING BILLING PRACTICES!
Selling a home and buying a new one is a stressfull time, and is full of uncertainties. I rented a cube to stage my home. My initial dealings were wonderful. The cube arrived and was stored till my home sold. Part way through the storage I needed access to the cube, I was given the address. I indicated that I needed to access the cube after work. I was not informed that the facility close promptly at 5, and I almost was unable get access, but the cube was on a muddy lot that did not allow me to gain access to the items I needed without getting them covered in mud! I then had the cube moved back to my driveway.
At no time did they tell me that i had to let them know ahead of my billing date to get pro rating if I want it picked up early! They also did not tell me the billing date keeps changing. I booked on Sept 11 and contacted them Dec 11 that I wanted it picked up as I have now sold my home! Now my billing date is Dec 4 and they are going to charge me for the whole month. Money is tight and stress is high and this is bad business practice. When I rent at Dymon I am creditted if I leave early.

I have had many issues dealing with Cubeit. First, I was trying to access my container. I booked a day to access it, when I arrived in white rock nobody was there to let me in. I waited four hours only to drive home 2 hours. An 8 hour day wasted Then the next day I went back and again the person that was suppose to meet me was doing delivers so I waited again.

Then, I find out that they do not bill on the same day of the month. On a yearly cycle you are being billed for 13 months instead of 12. Talk about gouging!

I had several family and friend deaths this past year and money has been tight. I fell 45 days in arrears and was told that they were billing me a lien status of a whole extra months rent.

I Was speaking with Linda in head office and was told that they had been trying to contact me. I said, I have not had any messages. They have a. Old number on file. Which I do not understand why. The Vancouver office has had no trouble contacting me. Linda said, well this is head office! Seriously, what does that have to do with anything! My phone number should be the same in both offices.

I spoke with a gentleman named David and he was very polite and apologetic for all the hassle. However, that means nothing when he has no authority. He is the poor guy on the other end of the phone that takes slack because of corporate gouging!

Sorry for being so negative! Although, the people I have spoke with have been kind and helpful they still do not have any authority to change corporate policy.

the whole experience of moving is stressful for me, however the Person I spoke to you, was very understanding at my stress level, I was reassured to book the container now and if things changed or if my husband was not good with my decision I could cancel up to the day before,
the whole experience from the container being delivered and stored and brought to my new home was the best experience ever, thank you to the great staff at cubeit storage and especially to Nancy who helped me and so understanding to my needs

Everything went well upon delivery and we are still pleased with the portable cube it.

They offer you afternoon or morning pick up/delivery. So when I told them morning, they said, ok. Day before Delivery they told me it was last on list. So had all my buddies standing around doing nothing until it came. I had them drop it at my Mother in laws place as we didn’t move into our place for a month. Then they forgot the final delivery. I had to call and ask where it was and they didn’t have it on the list. I asked for some money back and they gave me a small portion back which I was entitled to anyway. The storage container leaked over my couch and when I told them they did and said nothing. I talked to Manager and he said he would get back to me by the end of the day when I complained. It took a week for him to call me back after a lot of me chasing him. This happened several times. I spent a lot of money when I did most of the admin work. Reminding them to pick up and drop it off. I told him I would write a formal complaint and he stated, well it will come to me and I will refuse it. I asked to speak to his boss and he stated that there is no one above him.

After working long stressful days to finish sale of my house, I expected some more of the same when dealing with a moving co.
Upon talking to Edena, the chief co-ordinator, I was put somewhat at ease when the details were laid out. After speaking to her, the local yardman, and 3 phone contacts out-of province (Calgary to S. Ontario move), the vibe seemed good,so I figured this might go o.k. after all. That proved to be understatement, since (fast forward) they were at least as good as their word. I couldn't have been more pleased with the result! Here's what really impressed me... 1.the quote given was real comprehensive to the last detail. ( quote from another co. was just a handful of numbers/figures). 2.Each person I spoke to by phone was clear, concise, and well spoken, so nothing was left to the imagination... 3. I even thought the price was reasonable!
This outfit really has it's act together. My expectations were not only met ,but far exceeded. The communication was excellent and all went acc. to plan except one small item: slight 1/2 hr. delay on final leg of delivery, of which we were alerted (and amounted to really nothing at all). These guys are really a class act, they've obviously worked hard to make and keep their business successful,I just can't say enough nice about them. I dare say any similar co. can't hold a candle to these guys
p.s. My understanding is that this co. is able to keep steady people (bodes well for consistency?), plus all activity is cleared through one person in charge, namely Edena. -thanks, Edena. You and your team keep up the fine work! (imo 5 stars PLUS!)

People that I spoke with on the phone were polite and knowledgeable however I had issues with cube not being picked up on correct date twice and billing issues where I was billed twice. It took a lot of effort and a long time to get charges reversed. I did not need all the added stress when I was orchestrating my move! Cube was clean and drivers were professional when they did come!

Very efficient and professional office staff: I realized when I received an email that the amount had been charged to my credit card that I had forgotten to cancel the container. The amount was credited the same day.
I was quite impressed by the cordial and efficient lady with whom I spoke.
It was quite an uplifting way to do business. Very difficult to find these days. Thank you

My experience with the Cubeit staff is second to none. Every person I have talked to have gone above and beyond to help me. I would definitely recommend Cubeit to my family and friends and would use this storage company again if I need this type of service again. Thank you Cubeit staff for making everything easy for me.

The storage unit is one of the best ideas I have ever heard of!

CubeIt had great service, with reliable delivery and pick-up.

The process was totally seamless . There was no problem locating the storage unit on the front street . The unit was absolutely clean .
We spent 5 days loading the unit after which it was immediately picked up and dropped at our new house an hour later . 5 days after dropping the container , it was picked up . Total cost-$500.00.
We could not have made the move any more convenient at that price

Wonderful service! Took care of us even last minute! Made us feel like more then just a dime a dozen client.. they went above and beyond to ensure we were moved on time.. stayed in touch and followed up after..
Met and went above expectations!! Would highly reconmend and use again..if ever needed.

I never used these guys. For reasons of timing alone I decided to cancel with Cube-It and go with another supplier. BUT I KEEP GETTING THESE STUPID SURVEY REQUESTS. It’s becoming as annoying as dinner time phones calls for air duct cleaning!

For the harassment factor alone I would never use these guys.

The Cubeit Portable Storage Unit proved to be an excellent solution for a temporary storage problem. The unit was delivered exactly on time and provided a secure environment for all the items that were moved out of the way when space was needed to undertake a major project.
