I had a great experience. The whole process was fast and smooth from start to finish. They helped me with everything, from choosing the right components to making sure everything was set up perfectly. Their customer service is amazing—very responsive, patient, and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and made the entire experience stress-free. The final build turned out exactly how I wanted, clean and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and easy PC building experience.

I used for a month already and it works great!

Before delivery, they asked what OS to install and added Debian for me, including Nvidia drivers which saved me time. The only issue was the WIFI 7 onboard card which doesn't have a good driver for Debian, so I ended up getting as advised a NETGEAR Nighthawk WiFi 6E USB 3.0 Adapter (A8000) - AXE3000 Tri-Band Wireless Gigabit Speed (Up to 3Gbps). The external Wifi works great.

Having tried some LLM serving workloads on this machine, I got around 5% better tok/s than the equivalent Vast.ai machine. (For example Qwen 3.5 27b dense model can be served with 60-80 tok/s with the correct config, and maybe even faster once they fix VLLM bugs).

I had specific needs for a computer that would dual boot on different drives, have capability for a local LLM with both 64 GB RAM and some VRAM. In the past I would buy a common brand and make modifications but now I decided to minimize the DIY and have a unit that would meet my needs from the beginning and not worry about potential incompatibilities. After looking and talking around I came up with Custom Lux PCs and was able to talk/text with Pat. He was accommodating in what I wanted with the my financial constraints and made the appropriate additions and changes. It was assembled, the software was installed and tested and then it was sent to me in a timely fashion. On receiving the well packed box, I unpacked it, did the preps and plugged it in and turned it on. It came right up and I started using it. No problems and I am certainly happy with the whole process. When the need to upgrade comes it will definitely be with Pat at Custom Lux PCs.

My biggest hang up was his location. I am in western Canada, he is in the eastern United States. I was worried about cross-border shipping, and he was a pro at it, even refunding me the difference for an unexpected custom charge.
When it arrived it was well-packed and ready to go. I've had zero issues.

If you want a high end PC for a more than reasonable price, CustomLux is the place to get it. I got a high pc for only 1450 and this thing is high functioning, has cool aesthetic and very pleasing to look at on my desktop. The best thing is I didn’t assemble a thing, I opened the box and got straight to playing on it. No hassle at all if you’re someone like me with no knowledge or experience with computers. For my first PC I know this was a great investment and is a machine that will last me forever.

Patrick delivered sooner than expected an amazing high-end computer to me. In the development I’m doing I ran more than 30 machine learning algorithms, including several neural networks, transformers, etc., in an ensemble plus a LLM with 70 billion hyperparameters that between them load 160 tensors using both GPUs that used to take about 20 minutes to run in my old PC tower. In this new computer took only 1 minute and 10 seconds! Amazing!
