Avoid the scumbags!

Ordered and paid for my sons bike on the 15th of April, this was in stock and was give a 10 day delivery slot. I have been calling, left my number for them to call me back and they never have.
Tried social media and emails and nothing!
Spoke with the Nottingham store who have said its nothing to do with them and delivering my sons bike is NOT critical! Well is was when you took the hundreds of pound out of my bank! 🤬
More than 3 weeks down the line and I can’t even get a Curtesy update! So wrong!!!
Scum Bags in its full glory!!
Just a message, even if it’s saying sorry and it’s going to be another 20 days!

Thank god there stores are closed and they cant build or repair bikes!

I put my bike in to be repaired at there Birmingham store.

Well i say repaired there customer service assistant i don't think you could call him a mechanic did not screw any of the bolts up on my bike and did not refit a spacer on the crank. I also had to contact FAZUA myself as they said there store couldn't make international calls to their service center in Germany. How can you sell a product if you cant contact the company for service??

I could have been seriously injured riding it on a trail lucky i was just out for a cycle round the street!

If you have ordered a bike from them make sure to check every bolt especially if its a child's bike.

Waiting for a response from them.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

Similar experience to many others who purchased a bike from here recently. Ordered on the 19th April, got an email to say it had been dispatched then three days later there was suddenly a problem with the address and it got returned to sender. I contacted CR by email a week ago, no response. Tried calling but no answer. Please be aware Halfords sold Cycle Republic on the 20th of April which seems to be when all the problems started. I suspect the couriers have put them on stop which is why many have been returned to sender. AVOID.

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️

Do not buy from these chancers, placed order on 09/04/20 was told bike is in stock and would be delivered within 10 working days. Received despatch confirmation on the 17/04/20-great! But now 10+working days later 02/05/20 still no bike!! I’ve emailed and tried calling with no answer or reply. Also strangely there was no tracking number with the despatch details which I’ve questioned but with no reply!!! STAY CLEAR.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Ordered a parcel & received DPD tracking number. When I checked delivery, DPD informed me parcel was being returned to Cycle Republic. Tried to get in touch with CR for update and explanation. No response. Still haven’t received anything. I have opened a dispute resolution with PayPal.

Steer well clear!!

I don’t believe a word about the review posted below. Ordered a bike for my little girl’s birthday on the 14th of April and was told at checkout that it would take 10 working days to arrive. Waited until the 10 days had past (didn’t receive any dispatch information in a meanwhile) to try and contact them. 4 days, numerous emails phone calls and a visit to my local Halfords and I still don’t know when the bike is being delivered or how to get a refund so that I can buy my daughter a different bike (funnily I don’t have another spare £300 lying around). Have not been able to get someone on the phone (hours of on hold) or to email me back. Absolutely disgraceful. It is already difficult enough for a little girl to spend her birthday in lockdown but now also without her main present

Very satisfied, in extraordinary times !

Having seen some of the reviews here, I’ll be honest, I was very worried. Only saw these after I placed my order !!
However, I’ll be very honest I placed my order in 23rd April. Ordered a bike and a pump. Pump arrived within 2days, and bike arrived this morning (9 days post order).
Did have occasion to email them and it did take a few days to get a reply, however they were very apologetic, and I kind of expected this, give that we’re in the grips of this lockdown.
Got advanced notice of my shipments, and everything has arrived in good time, as described, and in good condition.
I honestly can’t complain.
I did notice that everything shipped directly from Halfords, so it is possible that everything is now being directed to Halfords.
Based on my experience, I have to say I would recommend them.
Thank you all.
Dropped a star only because comms was a bit slow, but to be fair, these are exceptional circumstances.

Has anyone actually been able to make contact with the company or even received delivery of bike within the past week? I’ve called and email countless times and still no luck! My bike was due to come today based in delivery information they supplied me at checkout, all I want is a update on my order and I can’t even get that.

SHOCKING

SHOCKING level of service, from delivery to customer care. It was easy enough to make a purchase online but beyond that, NOTHING. No delivery of the small part I ordered. No response to my emails. No response to my calls. I waited over an hour on one call as I was determined to get through. I have now bought the part again from another retailer as my son has been without his bike for a month and we just can’t wait any longer for a resolution from Cycle Republic. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

I’ve passed kidney stones that have been less painful!

Who’s writing these positive reviews, as I simply don’t believe them! Shocking to deal with; tried since 15 April to speak to them ... nothing. Several emails. Lost the will; incredibly frustrating. Have delivered a broken (and very expensive) bike that I’m simply going to dump at the nearest Halfords and walk away (claim court thereafter) once this dreadful virus situation goes away and we lift lockdown. Have had enough now! Seems Halfords has washed their hands of the mess they have created in Cycle Republic, whilst allowing them to continue to take orders and monies, but simply not delivering and, if they do, poor or substandard quality. Terrible service. Feel sorry for those that might have lost their jobs, but customer service is nil and customers simply can’t get thru’! Avoid avoid avoid!!!

DO NOT TRUST their costumers support representatives especially man called ”Wayne”

Mr Wayne is a liar 🤥

1 - He lied to me about a potential 10% discount to all Boardman bikes, ensuring me that there are no redeemable vouchers available.

2 - He lied about components of the bike by telling me that components all brand new, however, the bike hasn’t changed since 2018.

3 - He replies to enquiries from my other emails “how much does it cost?” and doesn’t reply to Cancelation Request.

Placed an order for £900 + £800, and now I'm trying to cancel one of them. Witch makes me very nervous.

They won't reply to your Emails. They just won't as they don't care about you and your story.

Once you pay them money, that's it. Don't expect anything. They will use your money and potentially still them as the company is about to shut down.

Extremely terrible experience and service.

My Layer already checking on these case and company.

Such a big shame there is less and less honest people in these world.

Untrustworthy company and impossible to get hold of

Only giving one star as zero is not an option. Items do not turn up and the company do not answer and can not get hold of them. Am now down over £100 and seriously worried I will never see my money or product after waiting a month.
