The product itself was fine, but the delivery and customer service were awful

The product itself was fine, but the delivery and customer service were awful. You’re given a vague two-week delivery window, then only told the actual day with one day’s notice — impossible for anyone who works. Even then, they changed my delivery date and time multiple times, including telling me on a newly informed date that it would arrive before 10am, so I rearranged my plans to be home, only for them to turn up at 1pm when I was no longer home. Despite their mistakes, I was charged a missed delivery fee and met with completely inflexible, dismissive customer service.

When the item finally arrived a week later, it was damaged. I then had to jump through endless hoops providing photos and evidence, despite their own delivery photo clearly showing the damaged box. They eventually offered a 15% discount, which barely covered the unfair missed delivery fee. By that point I was too exhausted by the experience to keep arguing. Terrible process, poor communication, and frustrating customer service throughout.

During checkout, customers are provided with a delivery timeframe based on their address, along with the latest estimated delivery date. As we manage deliveries across different areas and order volumes, we are sadly unable to guarantee a specific delivery date from the outset.

On the day of delivery itself, we provide a three-hour delivery timeslot rather than an exact arrival time, as traffic conditions and other factors during transit may affect the route and schedule. Our drivers also aim to contact customers upon arrival to help ensure they are aware of the delivery.

That said, we sincerely apologise for the delivery changes, delays, and inconvenience caused. We are also sorry to hear that your item arrived damaged, and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to investigate and assist further.

Your feedback regarding the delivery process, communication, and overall experience has been noted and will surely be utilised to improve our future service.

I would highly recommend

I would highly recommend, from first placing my order to the excellent update on everything, the delivery guys were very polite and professional, love my item of furniture it so comfortable and the colour is perfect, thankyou

Horrible to put together!

Delivery was quick and smooth and appreciative of the call updating about the delivery however putting together the sofa is almost impossible and has taken such a long time with very awkward angles to try and use the Allen key. Very disappointed and the cover is out of stock :(

Terrible Delivery policy forcing to…

Terrible Delivery policy forcing to cancel
I have ordered expensive sunlounges. Received a note that I must confirm delivery within a short timeframe - not practical when working. Daals cancelled the delivery because of that. After some days received a note again that delivery will be done- I confirmed straight away this tlme. Within a day I received a delivery cancellation again claiming they only have 1 lounge in stock, uncertain about the new date. Total scam. I cancelled the order waiting for the refund.

Great products and delivery service. Customer service top notch too. Had one part of our tv unit arrive slighty broken and customer service sent a replacement part in quick time.

Great Sofa - Very slow delivery

We bought a sofa - it was exactly as described! Great quality!

The guys who delivered it - Paskal and Jakub were very helpful and offered a great service!

The only flaw is that the delivery times are very slim! So we were only offered the delivery slot the day before, as we were unable to do the first slot we then waited another 10 working days for the next delivery option. It meant the delivery was VERY slow.

Worst experience of an order ever.

Get an email stating the delivery will be on 26-05-26, this email was received on the 08-05-26.
On the 18-05-26 I received an email at 13:48 saying my order will be delivered on the 19-05-26, I had to respond by 14:30 otherwise delivery would be delayed.
I didn’t see the email until 15:00, called them and they said they would have to reschedule as I didn’t respond in time, I explained they only gave me 42 minutes to respond but they wasn’t very helpful.
Received an email saying delivery would be today the 27-05-26.
Turned up with part of the order missing ( Dining room table, missing the table top ).
Then leave saying we would get a call about the missing part of the order, checked emails and they stated everything was delivered.
Have now had a text saying would I leave a review, so this is it.
I would not order a single thing from them again, laughable that they can get anything right.

Amazing garden furniture

The delivery was fantastic. Had a phone call to say my garden furniture was delivered. Packaging excellent. Kept informed of the delivery time. The bistro garden set is even more beautiful than I expected. I am thrilled with it and can highly recommend the set.

Great delivery and the product

Great delivery service by William and Matt, they offered to bring the garden furniture set through the house to the garden even on the hottest day of the year.
Very happy with the outdoor corner set too! Seems to be great quality and easy to set up.

Poor service

Last year, I placed an order from Daals & was extremely impressed with their service. However, when I placed my second order, the service was poor.
Order was placed on 19/04. I received confirmation of the delivery date - 27/04, so scheduled time away from work to be at home in order to receive the goods. An email was sent on 24/04 stating there was a system error, so the item would not be delivered as confirmed.
The delivery took place on 05/05, but the item was damaged. I reported the matter immediately & was offered the option to keep the item at lower cost, but was not advised what the discount would be.
Due to the severity of the damage, I requested an exchange, which was confirmed by Daals. Unfortunately, they did not provide an expected delivery date, despite chasing on multiple occasions for over 2 weeks.
Eventually, I received a text message and email on 26/05 advising the exchange would be taking place the next day, which left me little time to make adjustments to my work schedule. But as I have waited 2.5 weeks for the replacement, I made the proposed date work.
I have emailed Daals about the poor service & asked if anything could be offered as a gesture of goodwill. They responded advising as an exchange had taken place, they won’t be offering anything further - but an exchange HAD to take place as the item was damaged!!
I really like the quality of the products from Daals & had planned to buy more from them, but this experience has made me think again

So very disappointed

We originally ordered the taupe Stanford Garden sofa set from daals and had impeccable service. The items were delivered very very swiftly and absolutely perfection.

We decided that given the service had been so good we would order the matching Stanford Taupe dining set which comes with six chairs and the table.

Sadly when the items arrived we realised that two of the chairs were badly damaged.

We contacted daals immediately and sent footage of the box being carried by the Courier and dropped five feet on to the pavement in front of our ring doorbell.

We sent photo after photo followed by a video followed by more photos in order for them to agree to the return.

Then we had to box the two chairs up and wait for the exchange to be authorised.

We were told on Thursday last week that the two chairs would be replaced and were sent a DHL tracking link then today received one chair.

So we are still three weeks down the line with only five dining chairs for table that cost us £1800.

To add insult to injury and I mean this literally, when you stand up from one of the top dining chairs or twist, the chair topples.

In my opinion the three legs are not adequately wide enough to balance the weight of a guest. When the guest either twists or stands the chair tips - these are not safe chairs.

If you compare them to the wicker chairs in the same range you will see that the back leg is twice as wide making the chair more stable.

I have reached out to Daal to ask for a return of the dining set and potentially an exchange for the wicker one (I will need to get the sofa set exchanged too as I wanted it all to match) and I will then update this one star review.

This review is given honestly from me, as someone who used to manage the customer service department for a blue-chip UK based company.

I have never been so disappointed after spending £4k of hard earned money.

On time delivery

My delivery arrived about an hour during the thee hour window that was given to me and the delivery drivers were very pleasant. The goods were also delivered on the delivery date given. Great service thank you.
