Terrible Company

Pretty poor experience with DAI post. I had a package coming from the US, started with DHL and then at some point in AUD was handed over to DAI.
Initially they claimed they could not leave my parcel safety, which did not seem right, and upon reaching out I was then told my address was incomplete.

I provided my address again, and that same day at about 8pm I recieved a notification that my parcel had been left at a collection hub.
I then went to this hub on two separate days, my parcel was not there, and DAI stopped responding to my emails.
I genuinely had to contact them on LinkedIn to get a response, and it then still took a week (Mon - Sat) for my parcel to be found and delivered.

While yes, I did get my parcel in the end, it was a joke of an experience and I genuinely don’t know how they have been in business so long if this is how they operate.

Read their terms and conditions. Disgusting

I ordered scrubs through FIGS.Despite the fact that FIGS sent out an email to apologise for delay in shipping, they actually shipped the item within 2 business days. The package tracked to Australia rather quickly. But then reached DAI Post as the "last mile delivery contractor". And movement stopped. "Your deliver is just round the corner.. on 4th December". As of today, 15th December, no further scanning. And no. The item has not been delivered. Emailed them with no response. Tried to call, no reply. The automated queue kept saying there are more than 10 customers ahead of you and no movement ahead. Then I read their terms and conditions. Absolutely shocking. They are apparently not liable for anything. Loss or damage, they are not liable. I am not sure that is actually legal in Australia. This company should not be used by any reputable business.

Horrible company

Horrible company. They only have one depot in Sydney. They are highly incompetent and couldn't deliver the items, even though I was home all day. Did not ring the bell, call or left a card. After repeated calls to the customer care, they expected me to drive an hour to pick up the parcel from the depot. The customer care team is clueless and has no idea where my parcel. Truly a disgrace of a courier company! They have literally one job!

Rubbish

Sitting in my home. Watched the contractor throw my parcel over my high front fence onto my concrete driveway. Parcel contained glass. Lucky it didn’t break. These careless, crappy logistics companies are becoming a real trend in Oz.

Severe lack of communication

I’d love to tell you how much I enjoyed my order from Dai Post — if it had actually arrived. It’s only been, you know, three weeks. No big deal. I’m sure it’s just taking the scenic route.
I received an email saying that my address was missing from their information. I replied swiftly and sent my full address and was told it would be dealt with.

Customer service was equally delightful. Every time I reached out, I received the same copy-and-paste responses that answered exactly zero of my questions. It’s honestly impressive how they managed to say so much while saying nothing at all. Upon the package not moving, I called a total of 5 times, and was told every time that they were “waiting on handover”.

At this point, I wasn’t even sure if my package exists, but I do admire their commitment to avoiding any genuinely helpful information. It was only when I reached out to Aramex directly (warehouse of DAI where I live) that my package was actually delivered… Turns out DAI hadn’t even given them the address yet, despite me replying to the initial email 3 weeks ago.
If you enjoy long waits, vague replies, and the thrill of the unknown, this is absolutely the courier for you.

Ghosted by customer service; this company only pretends to deliver

This company is incompetent and if you are a seller, please do not use them just because they’re cheap, because it will cost you more in refunds and lost customers.

This company has the worst customer service ever! Apparently tried to deliver a parcel 2 weeks ago, although I was home at the time (and our intercom takes photos, so I can prove they never buzzed). No card or anything left. After 2 calls (average wait time 40 mins) and 3 emails. I was told it had gone back to a warehouse in Padstow but they could not tell me the (secret! Haha) address or hours until I agreed to pick it up, and 2 weeks later still cannot provide a new tracking number.!

Needs Governmental Investigation.

Absolutely god awful and needs investigation by further commonwealth departments.
I ordered a product from overseas, I paid my invoice, & the item was shipped. It then boarded a plane, where someone flew it across the ocean and it arrived at Australia customs. The item was checked and then cleared by customs....all in less time then it has taken DAI post to deliver the item to me.
Now they are claiming they are attempting to "locate" my parcel - giving all the usual bs and apologies along the way.

DAI Post's reviews are haemorrhaging stars on pretty much ALL other sites. In fact, I find it extremely odd that I'm seeing such positive reviews on this site alone...when the Whirlpool Forums, Reddit and an array of other product review sites are all telling similar stories to mine.
Hmmmm.

Anyways, their deliberate lack of care, attention to detail and malicious malpractice when it comes to handling goods is disruptive, disturbing and quite frankly, rage enduing.

This place needs to be shut down.

Perth couriers are shocking. They don’t attempt to deliver, my parcel “is missing” even though it has been in their depot for over a week.
Very dodgy, no accountability. Have been trying to contact their customer service, but they don’t seem to know what their drivers are doing and have no explanation or care factor

Jenny helped with delivering my Xmas…

Jenny helped with delivering my Xmas parcel from the UK to family in Auckland as the address had got mixed up during transit. She made sure it got changed and the Xmas parcel arrived for my brother and nephew! Really appreciate all the friendly support and emails :)

DO NOT USA DAI POST

DO NOT USA DAI POST. Extremely poor service. The driver came to my address but didn’t even bother to walk in and drop the package off. No knock, no attempt to deliver – just marked it as attempted and left. If I’m paying for delivery, the least they can do is actually deliver it. Very disappointing and completely unacceptable. Won’t be trusting Dai Post again unless their drivers can do the basics.

Pathetic

The worst
1. I called and waited on hold for almost an hour, to organise for my parcel to be delivered to a collection point, as I wouldn't be home

2. The parcel was not only not taken to the collection point, but despite the fact that I ended up being home at the time they marked it delivered, the driver didn't even bother to ring the doorbell and just left it outside my gate, on the street

How dense do you have to be to do that?

The worst experience with a shipper…

The worst experience with a shipper I've had. Do not trust this company, they're untrustworthy and outright shonky. This is what happens: You have to track your parcel after realising it should have been delivered in the window given, and the tracker tells you they attempted delivery but couldn't leave it in a safe place. But A: They didn't attempt it at all, according to your cameras - in fact, they didn't go anywhere near your address. And B: They didn't email or text you to let you know this happened. If you don't follow up yourself, they send your parcel back (or throw it out). If you call (and wait on the line amidst all the other folks doing the same) to chase up, they 'resend' with the same outcome. I'm wondering if they even have drivers, let alone drivers with unachievable delivery quotas. I've had this happen to four parcels, and a further three times with one parcel, specifically. At a parcel pick up, a store manager told me they don't even attempt to fulfil their service and they're a shoddy company. Beware! Do not use them.

i am convinced they WANT to destroy your parcel.

Their delivery drivers make no attempt to actually find the front door, even when parcels are authorised to be left. They simply say they were unable to leave the parcel and then take it back to their depot, which is all the way in Westmeadows, and only open between 8 AM and 10 AM, Monday to Friday. Yes, you heard that right: you will need to take time off work if you want to get your parcel which you paid for from these criminals. And the poor customer service people are the ones who have to break this news to us ticked-off customers.

The Staff DIDN'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES. They DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO RETRIEVE PARCEL FROM THE WRONG ADDRESS. The delivery address Parcel collect SHOP 3 289 Liverpool Road Strathfield. EVEN WORST THEY CAN'T EVEN TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BLOCK OF UNITS & A AUSTRALIAN POST OFFICE. WHEN DOES A POST OFFICE LOOK LIKE A BLOCK OF UNITS.
