Product I wanted were not available so I bought a smaller battery to use in series but the connectors on the series wires did not match the connectors on battery so I had to go find other third party connectors. Good products but not ready for prime time because they can't get the details right.

I have two 100 amp batteries and a 1500 watt inverter. I can run my office computers to monitors some music equipment and lights for at least 72 hours on One battery.
I can run my 4.5 cubic inch fridge for 26 hours on One battery. As a first responder working the trenches of floods and hurricanes it's very important to have reliable power. I plan to advance my capabilities with Dakota lithium as they have proven to be my all around answer for portable power. I've been using them for over a year so I do have the good track record of the experience.

Great quality Batteries. No problems yet. We have been using them for several years now. Dozens of batteries and not failures.

These batteries don’t come with a meter to show battery life. Lots of batteries now have this feature built into the battery now. The DL battery chargers are terrible. I bought a 56aH and two 100aH batteries. Only receive two chargers. Both chargers stopped working after a few months. DL sent replacements both went bad a year later. I will not buy from them. Customer service stated that since they replaced them once, they wouldn’t do it again. Their chargers get very hot too.

Several years ago, we bought a new fishing boat, and right from the outset, equipped it with a 36 volt lithium battery from Dakota to pair with our new Garmin Force trolling motor. We couldn't have been happier with the performance of the pair, easily extending our trolling day battery life, and the raw power needed to troll upwind on the blustery days.
Most recently, we experienced a problem with the Dakota battery's ability to hold its charge. We contacted the Dakota Lithium technical support desk, who were super helpful in going through a diagnostic process with us to confirm that our observations were not simple operator error. Our contact at Dakota was most knowledgeable in the expected behavior of the battery, and once we concluded the source of the issue, Dakota was super responsive is acknowledging the source of the problem, and promptly providing a new replacement battery.
This was merely a minor blip of inconvenience in a great experience we've been having with Dakota technology.

They had me run a few tests and then replaced the batteries under warranty. They were here in a few days. Can't ask for much better service than that.

Won a battery from these guys. Said it was out of stock. Then told me they would give me a higher ah battery then played email tag for 2 months and never received anything but a code for $305 which there is nothing on the site for that price. Brandon Johnson lied to me repeatedly. I won a prize from Field & Stream Father's Dad Sweepstakes but never come to attrition

I ordered 2 Batteries in April of 2025. Get told every month that they will be in next month. Now the are saying November!!!!! Not sure I will Ever Get the batteries... The Blame is trade war and tariffs. They got their money a day after the order was placed in April 7, 2025

Amazingly light battery with great power. We received it in one day. It took longer to charge than we expected the first time, but we understand the shipping restrictions on a charged battery…. I would tell others to be patient. When we took it out for the first time we were extremely pleased. We are very happy this battery was recommended to us by a family member…. after he had to row back to our dock.

Bought a 12v 54ah deep cycle in 2024. In June of 2025 it went out and I called and support said they would send me another battery and not to even worry about send the old one back. I thought great! Nice service.
It's been two months and all I get told is that they don't have any replacements for me. That they are in the same boat I am. I'm out a trolling motor battery and charger so no, you aren't in the same boat I am. I've been forced to go buy another battery to use my boat. So I won't be buying another lithium battery at all. Can't recommend Dakota at this time either. I see the 54 ah is the only one they don't have. So send me one size bigger that you do have in stock . Don't just leave a customer hanging with a defunct battery and worthless warranty

Batteries don't last 11 years, got 5 out of mine, that kinda suck!

On the spot delivery and a great price. Battery holds charge for an entire day of hard fishing and the 20A charger gets you ready for tomorrow in a flash! Love it!

Ordered 5x 10AH, 12V batteries about 2 years ago. I have been using them in some custom-made battery boxes for trail cameras and they have performed well, even at temperatures as low as -50 F.

Unfortunately, one of the boxes was inadvertently placed in a small hole on the edge of a bog that filled with water this spring. The box failed, exposing the battery to water. The terminals were corroded and broke off but I was hopeful I could repair them with a little bit of soldering (as the warranty does not cover water damage per the fine-print.) However, at closer inspection, water could be heard sloshing around inside the battery and even drained if the water was slightly squeezed. These are dry-cell batteries so no fluid should be present.

Upon opening the battery up (out of curiosity and to see if anything could be salvaged), it was evident the red lid was not entirely sealed to the blue body of the exterior case. The “seal” consisted of super glue placed periodically (about every half inch), leaving the gaps between as easy entrances for water intrusion.

Per Dakota Lithium’s website under “Are Lithium Batteries Safe?” In the FAQ, it states: “… and is contained in a rugged, waterproof case…”.

Additionally, Dakota Lithium markets these as “Marine Batteries” which at a minimum should be waterproof. The battery was only partially submerged under the surface of the water, so pressure at depth was not the failure mode.

At least for the 10 AH, 12V batteries, they are NOT waterproof.

I plan on continuing to use the batteries I have, but will not be purchasing from Dakota Lithium in the future when I need a “…rugged, waterproof…” battery

The 15 AH battery works as advertised. It is work the extra $$ to have quality and peace of mind that the lithium 15AH battery will start the engine every time.
Will buy this battery again next year to replace the dual 12 battery configuration in My Pipistrel Sinus flex.
