Dancefit is a great app unfortunately I just could not continue. They were so professional and friendly in responding to my request to refund my subscription. The whole process was a really positive experience and my money was refunded in days. When I find a bit more time for myself I will definitely rejoin. Thank so much

Great app if you like to dance, great customerservice, friendly and helpful!
Thank you!

The app has a lot of interesting videos and is very easy for beginners to use. I bought it for my daughter, who is 8 years old, and she was able to follow the videos on her own in her bedroom.

I was very inspired when I first subscribed. Unfortunately, my motivation to workout wore off, and I completely forgot about the subscription. When my free trial ended and I unexpectedly got charged for six months, I reached out and they graciously refunded me within a day. Impressive customer service!

I signed up for the trial and then canceled, or so I was led to believe on the app. I was charged $350 on my credit card and it took 3 days but finally after defeating the bot I was able to email a person. Lana helped refund my money as I have never used the app and had canceled. Be careful read their fine print!

I would not have signed up for a subscription without first testing it and it wasn’t for me. They withdrew almost $250 for a quarterly subscription after a three month trial which I paid them for. This is your typical disgusting money grab. I’m guessing that they make a fair bit of money with this unfair practice. They contribute to what’s wrong with this world

In sheer honesty, I have been a bad girl and forgot I had this. Then found one I could watch on my t.v., which suited me well because I didn't have to look at a small screen on my Iphone. But I will say that when I asked to cancel my subscription, they were very kind to do so without asking any questions. (saved me from embarrassing truth to tell). Thank you. Dacebit. One day I can afford you but for right now I'm doing this to all my subscriptions.

My daughter signed up to this app, she is disabled and vulnerable and was confused why she had done it. I got in touch with them and within 48 hours they advised that they would refund my daughter back and cancel the subscription. Brilliant service and very helpful and understanding.

I had a billing dispute regarding renewal.
The issue was resolved literally overnight, much to my appreciation. Overall it was a success!

From setting up the app and using dance fit it has been easy to use, enjoyable with plenty of selection to help people achieve their goals.
A very positive experience with supportive staff who respond promptly to any questions

I encountered many obstacles in trying to open the account and each step of the way I asked for support. THe help was swift, polite and eventually I got in. I am thrilled with the service provided, the class and that I can see the routine on my laptop. I'm 74 with impaired vision so this was vital for me. Thank you for all your help.

I was able to stay motivated for 90 days straight! I love having so many choices and accommodations for age and reduced mobility due to a broken arm. It is really fun to try all the different dance styles!

I am extremely frustrated with how Dancebit handles subscriptions. I signed up for 3 months just to test the app, but as soon as it ended, I was hit with a 79.99 EUR charge without ANY prior notice.
The terms were misleading. I understood the auto-renewal for the trial, but not for a full 3-month course to be charged again automatically. If this company were truly fair and transparent, they would send a reminder email BEFORE charging the customer, not just take the money and refuse a refund. Charging such a high amount without warning feels like a trap for people who don't check their accounts daily.
To make matters worse, when I tried to cancel, the system offered a 50% discount. This is insulting—it shows they are just trying to grab money from unwilling customers. I have already requested a refund and was denied, but I am stating it here: I demand a full refund immediately as this charge was unauthorized and deceptive. Stay away from this app if you don't want unexpected charges on your card!
......
Don't give me your scripted excuses about "terms on the purchase screen." If you were truly transparent and cared about your customers, you would send a REMINDER EMAIL before charging 79.99 EUR.
Do you really expect someone to remember a small disclaimer from three months ago? Of course not. You purposely choose NOT to send notifications because your entire business model depends on people forgetting, so you can snatch their money without consent.
"If one person is confused, it's a mistake. But when hundreds of people on this platform say the exact same thing—that they were scammed by your hidden auto-renewal—then it is a deceptive system by design."
It is easy to take money from people who didn't intend to stay, isn't it? For you, this is just a "subscription policy," but for me, you are literally taking away my budget for food and basic necessities. A company with any real integrity would notify their users before a major charge and offer a refund when a mistake is clear. Dancebit has shown it has zero heart and zero honesty.
Stop hiding behind your fine print and refund my money!

Dear Dancebit Team,
I am writing regarding your response to my review. While you claim to "strive for transparency," your actions prove otherwise.
If you were truly transparent, you would send a renewal reminder email before charging a massive 79.99 EUR. You do not do this because your business model relies on customers forgetting their subscriptions. As I mentioned, there are hundreds of identical complaints on Trustpilot, which proves this is a systemic issue, not an individual "confusion."
Furthermore, I am exercising my legal rights. Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 regarding online/distance contracts:
"Customers have a 14-day cooling-off period to cancel after signing up—with a full refund—unless they gave explicit permission to waive this right to start the service immediately."
I contacted you immediately after the charge was made. I did not give explicit consent to waive my 14-day withdrawal right for this renewal. Therefore, your refusal to refund is not just "unfair"—it is a violation of consumer law.
Additionally, your agent Ganna already promised me in writing that you would "move forward with the refund" once the PayPal status updated. Now, another agent (Lana) is retracting that promise. This is a breach of agreement and bad-faith business practice.
I demand a full refund of 79.99 EUR immediately. This money is my essential budget for food and basic necessities. I have already contacted my bank to initiate a Chargeback and have reported your deceptive billing practices to the relevant consumer protection authorities.
Refund my money now and prove that your "goal to be transparent and fair" isn't just a scripted lie.
Regards,
.........
Stop pretending to be helpful for the public eye. I have already contacted your support multiple times. I even have an email from your agent, Ganna, explicitly promising to 'move forward with the refund.' But as soon as the PayPal case closed, you changed your story and refused to pay.
You have all my details. Stop asking for 'further details' as a delay tactic. If you are truly committed to 'fairness and transparency,' REFUND MY 79.99 EUR NOW as you previously promised. I am not 'confused'—I am being scammed.
