I was looking to replace a quartz…

I was looking to replace a quartz mechanism on an old clock that had sentimental value. Trying to find the right replacement on-line was very confusing. However, by contacting Dan's Clock Shop through their clock movement advice service I was able to get the right movement, which arrived promptly when ordered and the clock is now working and back in it's usual place.

Absolutely 5* service. Brilliant communication and super fast delivery. Sent pictures and sorted me out with exactly what I needed after looking fir ages. Definitely recommend.

Order couldn't be fulfilled and was cancelled. You said there would be a refund to original payment method and despite emailing multiple times, no such refund has been received. AVOID IF YOU'D LIKE THE ITEM YOU ORDER

Hi I am very sorry you have had trouble with your order, you may or may not know that I had recently been in hospital to have surgery and then needed time to recover so there were some delays in fulfilling orders. I did post a notice on our website so customers were aware of the issues. As for your refund it has been issued I will look into it this end and see where the problem is. Regards. Dan

I paid for non-bio water wipes. But they sent me bio water wipes!!!

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE! Ordered a book which never arrived, had an email to say I was going to be refunded which I never was. Lots of emails sent with no response. Obviously happy to take peoples money. Shame on you....

It is true they don’t respond to emails…

It is true they don’t respond to emails I understand they may have a lot of orders but at least they could reply to emails still waiting for my goods I ordered them on 18 January hopefully they will be here soon fingers crossed

Very poor service

Ordered an item from Danshop on 26/11/20 which was due to be a Christmas present. This item has never arrived and yet I have been charged. I have not been refunded despite a number of e mails chasing the order and then requesting a refund. My e mails have not been acknowledged. Very disappointed and quite angry. I appreciate that Covid may have had some impact on orders and customer service for many companies, but I cannot forgive them ignoring their customers. Very poor service.

Update: 24/03/21 Danshop responded to this review asking me to contact them by e mail to give them more detail. I e mailed them on 25/03/21 and still no response on 08/04/21. Not impressed.

Ordered a bed wedge on the 24th…

Ordered a bed wedge on the 24th November and it was supposed to take 3 - 5 days for delivery. I chased them up on the 5th December and was told that it was coming straight from the manufacturer and that they would email them then get back to me when they'd heard something. On the 15th December I contacted them up again, asking them to chase it up again and refund me if this is out of stock but heard nothing back. It is now the 4th January and they still have my £38.99 but I have no bed wedge. Not happy.

Avoid this company if you actually want your order to arrive.

Although the website mentions possible delays, due to COVID, it doesn’t say anything about how long items might take to be delivered.
I ordered over 2 weeks ago and still haven’t had a dispatch notice.
I’ve contacted customer services twice by email and had no response whatsoever.

I don’t believe the item was even in stock when I ordered it, although there was nothing on the site to indicate this; I would never have ordered, had I known. My belief is that it’s still not in stock, hence the delay and silence.

The item was meant to be a birthday present, so it’s useless now. I’ve asked to cancel my order but had no response.

Just rubbish customer service and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

UPDATE: I never heard from the company and never received my order; no doubt they won’t bother to respond to this review either.

Please do don’t order from this company

Please do don’t order from this company. Ordered a Friends advent calendar.. emailed to ask if my order had been processed. When they replied they said it has. Then I got another confirmation email it say it’s in stock then only to get a final email saying that the order had been refunded and I wasn’t getting it. No apology or reason after I emailed them again!!
Please save your self any time and hassle and use a different company.

I am very sorry this happened. This was a Pre-Order item and unfortunately our supplier has let us down. All customers who bought this item were emailed and fully refunded.

Damaged order and Ignores all contact

I placed an order on June 3rd. It arrived fairly quickly, but arrived totally damaged. I have tried contacting them multiple times by email, using their online contact form, twitter DM and Facebook private message, and I have been completely ignored every single time. At this stage I want my money back and will be reporting this website to both Trading Standards and the Retail Ombudsman, as ignoring customers when they need a response is simply unacceptable.
