Hardware and channels make no sense when backup support lags - that's what Valtti Oy (datacenter.fi) means
My company has been using collocation and managed servers’ services from many companies in the world as we are a hosting company, but Valtti Kumppanit Oy (previously datacenter.fi, now valtti.com) is the worst experience ever, mainly because of their support (read as "no support").
You will get a classical Finnish support - it means that no one care, especially outside regular working hours. Do not rely on quick resolving of your problems.
Moreover, once they attempted to charge us for the service of fixing problem on their own network because we reported the problem to them. Finally, de-mounting of our server took two weeks and it was charged too.
I have been in web-hosting business for 20+ years and I believe nowadays the most important is support since quality of hardware and stability of network were improved and these are pretty the same for any datacenter. Servers and channels are all the same food, but people and support - that's what make sense.
If you are fine with a prospective to pay 100+ per hour for solving not even yours problem, then Valtti (datacenter.fi) is definitely your choice, otherwise there are better alternatives with true 24/7 support and real remote hands support for less money.
Two stars for channels and hardware - things that are good anywhere nowadays ;)
