After our air awning broke on our seasonal pitch we phoned Davan and spoke to a lovely lady called Sam asking for some advice on an upgrade. She was so helpful over the phone we then decided to visit the actual showman. she was so knowledgeable and helpful to myself and partner who were new to being seasonal. She answered all our questions and gave professional informative advice.
We would highly recommended Sam to anybody seeking help with a new awning she was amazing and her customer service was second to none 👍

We purchased an awning from Jo a couple of weeks ago, we could have got the same awning for a slightly better price online but I feel it’s better to deal with a person.
At the weekend we attempted to put the awning on our caravan, but had an issue with a missing part and some damage, we decided we didn’t want to keep this awning due to the quality so returned it back to Davan and saw Jo again.
Jo was fantastic, she agreed with us, was very apologetic so we decided on an upgrade a brought another better awning.
The awning was ordered and today we picked it up.
We can’t express highly enough what a very nice lady she is.

Had an issue with 2 leisure batteries which were dead, rang and booked it in for replacements, they could not have been more helpful from Kerry on reception to Kyle helping when we returned and lastly Ian who fixed the batteries (also speaking to me on the phone with a query )such a happy team and very professional to deal with, it was my first visit will definitely use them again I highly recommend

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Service – Awning & Light Purchase

We recently bought an awning and a light from Davan Caravans, and we’re extremely pleased with both the products and the service we received.

From start to finish the experience was smooth and hassle-free. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful in making sure we chose the right items for our caravan. Everything was explained clearly and nothing was too much trouble.

Delivery was also very fast, and everything arrived well packaged and exactly as expected.

The awning is excellent quality and has made a big difference to our setup, and the light is perfect—bright, practical, and exactly what we needed.

Overall, a great buying experience with fantastic customer service. We would definitely recommend Davan Caravans and will happily use them again in the future.

Returned to Davan last week for the first habitation check and some warranty work. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Particularly Ian and Gerry who provided a lot of useful information for a new motorhome owner like myself.

Staff really friendly. Especially Oliver in sales. He has highlighted the potential pitfalls of buying privately and has encouraged us to save a bit more money to buy something more quality with a dealers warranty. Also found the valeter helpful and they worked very well as a team to help us. When we have saved a bit more money, we'll be right back to Davan.

I have always found the customer service from sales to service dept. friendly, helpful and responsive. Had a problem with the leisure battery on my Swift caravan and Davan were more than happy to test it and replace, without charge, when found to be faulty. Cannot ask for more than that. Thank you Stuart.

We part exchanged our swift motorhome for a Rollerteam Kronos 590 everyone involved were knowledgable and friendly in keeping us informed throughout the process of the purchase. A big thank you to Oliver and Lonsdale who made everything possible and everyone else we met at Davan.

After sales was fantastic they couldn't do enough for you.
When I arrived, they got on with a job straightaway and kept me informed.
They explain things in Laymans terms which give you confidence.

Buying our Weinsberg 500LT has been an absolute pleasure, and we could not be more delighted with both the van itself and the exceptional service we received throughout the entire process.

Oliver deserves particular recognition. He is without doubt one of the finest salespeople we have ever dealt with – professional, knowledgeable and patient, but also kind, approachable and genuinely invested in ensuring we made the right choice. There was never any pressure, only honest advice and clear explanations that made everything straightforward and enjoyable.

What impressed us most was that this standard of service wasn’t limited to one person. After sales awful. They take your money then ignore you. Dont reply to emails, say they will call back and don't ! We had a few problems that needed sorting out. It took them a year and kept blaming the manufacturer for the delay. Then eventually booked it in to be done , then called on the day to say they couldn't do it so it would take 4 days longer. If we had read reviews before we wouldn't have gone there, and never will again. I have read other reviews where they respond saying sorry, Thats the only thing they reply to. My advise DONT GO THERE

We came across Davan at motorhome show at Westpoint in Devon. Oliver met us and showed us some motorhomes but without any pressure to buy. He recognised we were first timers. We turned later and signed up for a Pilote Motorhome. It met all our requirements and were very pleased. We continued to discuss options over the next few weeks and Oliver responded clearly and honestly. We picked up the motorhome today and Oliver did the hand over work despite being stretched by the needs of other customers. Davan (and especially Oliver), made the opportunity to buy the right vehicle for us easy and straight forward, always with good humour yet professional. Davan are a family run business who pride themselves with good service. This shone through at every stage.

After discovering Davans back towards the end of May and because of the help and assistance we received from the staff, we had no hesitation in returning as promised and have indeed made Davans our centre of choice. On our last visit on 8th June, we returned to buy our Falcon TV package and a few other bits and bobs. Again, the service we received, this time from Emily and Jackie was outstanding. All of the staff we have dealt with have been attentive and extremely helpful with it seems, no question too much trouble to answer and the general knowledge and advice across the business is second to none . My last review was on Google so this time I thought it fair to post my review here on Trustpilot. We are very new to Motorhoming and so pleased we came across Davans. Highly recommended.

Called into Davan to have windscreen arm fixed. Jerry and his 13 mm. rachet quickly sorted it out. Thanks Jerry! It’s always a pleasure to visit Davan,everyone is so nice and helpful. Cars used to be my passion but now I lust after motorhomes 😂

Picked up our new Knaus Boxlife MQ Motorhome. Great service from start to finish, Mark was very helpful and knowledgable. Simple part exchange and paperwork was all beautifully efficient, thanks Eleanor. Thanks also due to all the staff who went out of their way to help. Stuart and the girls in the shop. Also very good aftersales by Kelly and Ian who put extra sockets in the back of the van for us which turned out to be a trickier job than anticipated.A real family firm.Will be back for the habitation-check next year.

I part exchanged our motorhome for a camper van in November 2024 but only just leaving a review as I wanted to make sure if I had any problems they would be dealt with as my previous dealer wasn't helpful with a problem. I can say my dealings with Oliver (Sales) and everyone else at Davan have been good. I did have a minor issue which was dealt with and we are really pleased with our new van, I would recommend and would use Davan again, Thanks.

Top service from Davan Caravans. Kelly on reception was warm and friendly, and really helpful and Jerry did an excellent job on the repairs ~ very efficient, with an as-good-as-new finish. Really impressed with the whole experience. Thank you to all at Davan ~ what a great company :)
