Good communication, excellent product

Pleased with these good quality trees. Helpful advice on preparation works. Provide a good evergreen screen.

Great quality hedging, arrived healthy. Friendly service.

The trees came earlier than stated, and we nearly got them 3 times over. They were ready to be planted into the ground, overall as described.

Really pleased with the service, from initially enquiry, to delivery. Couldn't be more happy with quality of our Yew hedging.

Disappointing experience. Would not use again.

I ordered a Magnolia tree, almost three weeks ago. There was no mention of “up to three weeks delivery” except hidden away on the “delivery” tab (rather than prominently displayed when ordering and paying, as you’d expect!)

It took me three phone calls and two emails over several days to even speak with anyone . I left voicemails, no response. I emailed, no response. At this point it had been over two weeks and I was ready to cancel the order as I had landscapers coming to plant the various trees/plants I’d ordered from here and elsewhere. Every other nursery delivered and David Fairley hadn’t plus was impossible to speak to anyone!

When they did answer they promised it would be with me for Thursday at the latest (which is when the landscapers would be here)

It’s now 6pm on Thursday and upon checking the tracking the item is now at a delivery hub 20 miles away and not due until tomorrow, so I’ll have to sort that myself, as the landscapers have been and gone.

If I had known it would have been three weeks I would not have ordered in the first place (which is why they obviously don’t advertise the fact until you’ve paid)

The fact it’s impossible to speak to anyone once you’ve paid speaks volumes and the missed deadline just tops the experience.

I did finally receive an email response (miraculously half hour after I had managed to speak to someone on the phone to say I’d been trying for days) and then I got given incorrect information to say the item wasn’t coming at all, so I then said I’d spoken with someone by phone who said different and that then had to be confirmed.

On that basis I would not use them again and suggest in future they clearly display the 3 week lead time to potential customers and also try answering customers emails/phone calls, as it works wonders when running a business!

I found David Fairley Gardens an excellent company to deal with.
I ordered my trees on line and had confirmation regarding my order immediately. Plus a follow up email with regards to tree stakes , ties and compost , which I had completely forgotten about ordering.
The trees were delivered on the due date , with call that morning to say that they were on their way.
I am absolutely delighted with the trees and would highly recommend this company.
Everyone I dealt with was polite, helpful and efficient! Thank you!

A tree ordered in first half January has still not arrived. Poor communication when I followed up.

Great service, professional advice provided throughout the process regarding planting, storage, delivery etc. Everything we needed was provided quickly. Couldn't recommend enough - If we need any trees in the future we will be straight back.

Beautiful strong tree delivered. Could just be a bit better with updating. Lovely staff to speak with and I would use them again.
