Just to clarify, the sample you received was 100% authentic and decanted from a retail bottle of Creed Green Irish Tweed. All our fragrances are sourced directly from authorised UK/EEA distributors and we take a lot of care to ensure everything is labelled and sent out correctly.

I received 2 x 3ml samples of Louis Vuitton Afternoon Swim and Imagination.
Brilliant way to try different high end aftershaves without having to commit to the high end price.
The strength and projection of these two were amazing and lasted over 9 hours on my skin!
I will definitely be using Decanted again.

Awful purchase
I ordered two samples from Decant: one of Baccarat Rouge 540 and the other of Sol de Janeiro No. 62. Unfortunately, both samples were extremely small — so much so that I had to spray multiple times just to get a hint of the scent. Even then, I could barely smell anything. I’m really disappointed with this purchase and expected better quality and quantity from Decant.

I appreciate your response, but I’d like to clarify a few things — because your reply seems to misrepresent the core of my feedback.
I fully understood I was ordering 3ml samples. My disappointment had nothing to do with the volume, but with the lack of scent. I had to spray several times just to get the faintest trace of fragrance — which is unusual for both Baccarat Rouge 540 and Sol de Janeiro No. 62, scents that are typically strong and distinctive.
It felt like something may have gone wrong in the decanting, sealing, or storage process. The issue wasn’t about not “liking” the fragrances — it was that they were barely detectable to begin with.
I think it’s reasonable for a customer to expect a sample to have some projection, especially from such well-known, bold fragrances. Suggesting that my expectations were “flawed” comes across as dismissive, rather than helpful.

I don't mind a 1-star review, especially in this case - as it gives us an opportunity to also publicly respond and clear things up a bit, for any future customers.
You ordered two 3ml samples. You received two 3ml samples. That you are disappointed by the size suggests not a fault in our service, but a fundamental misunderstanding of what 3 millilitres means, a volume clearly listed and described throughout our website.
To then complain that a 3ml sample is, in fact, small, is rather like ordering a shot and then lamenting that it didn’t come in a pint glass.
It’s worth noting you contacted us twice before this review via email and not once did you raise an issue with size. Only after we declined to refund you and offered another resolution, as the fragrances weren't to your liking, did it become a problem. Curious timing.
As for the fragrances themselves - Baccarat Rouge 540 and Sol de Janeiro 62, as suggested in your initial email, no we do not dilute them. They are decanted directly from the original bottles. Performance of fragrances vary from person to person, batch to batch - fragrance is a personal experience. What might smell nice on a tester stick in a department store, may not respond well on your skin.
It's also worth noting that Sol de Janeiro 62 Perfume Mist isn't even a perfume, it's a scented hair/body spray.
Unfortunately, your expectations were not failed - they were simply flawed.
