A total scam. Ordered a Portable Air Conditioner 12000 BTU Cooling, 4 weeks later a 220w TABLE FAN arrives. Do NOT buy from these fraudsters.

This company is a scam. I paid £200+ for what was marketed as a 12,000 BTU Air Conditioning Unit with window vent (pictured). They sent me, no joke, an evaporative cooling fan that is worth £30. It is a completely different (and much cheaper) product than what was advertised. There is no window vent. Instead of it being legit air conditioning, which is what the BTU measurement is for, it's a fan with freezer packs. I've tried to return it for a refund and they have fully ghosted me. I had to dispute the charge with my bank. DO NOT BE SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY.

UPDATE JUL 27: Company replied here to say they've been responding to customers and to check my spam but don't be fooled. I have no messages from them in my spam despite reaching out to their provided email multiple times.

Ordered an air conditioner got a cheap generic cooler that uses water mist, scammers will be contacting trading standards. Avoid avoid avoid.

Like many others during the recent heatwave I saw a British website advertising 12,000 btu air conditioners at a great price. Ordering was simple but I became concerned when the bill came in Australian dollars and then shipping was from China. Immediately contacted customer services to cancel but received email after email that it had been processed and shipped within 2 hours. I contacted my credit card who explained that they had to honour the payment but would raise a case. I had to wait 14 days minimum so the company had the opportunity to ship the item. I continued trying to get them to cancel the order but received vague excuses and was informed that if I did not want the item when it arrived I could return it to them but, I would have to pay for return shipping. After 14 days the item had it arrived so following conversations with my credit card provider they reimbursed me my money and sent a request off to the company. They also informed me to refuse acceptance of the item ( so the scammers could not argue that they had delivered the AC units)After 20 days the delivery arrived and I refused delivery from the driver who said it was ok, of note the box was no bigger than a trainer sized box and this was supposed to have 2 AC units in. Since then I have had three emails from the company asking why I refused delivery and what was I going to do about returning the items to them. Speak to the delivery firm is all I have said. Small victory for me but please do not buy and do not accept delivery. Total rip off company

Ordered a 12000BTU air conditioner on 26th June for a 2-3 day delivery. On 2nd July i was told there would be a delay so tried to cancel it. They only responded by saying there would be a further delay. I sent them another email on 3rd asking why they ignored my request for cancellation. on 4th July they told me that i could not cancel the order because it was already in the shipping process. I received it on 17th July. A cheap air cooler, not a 12000 BTU air conditioner. They said they sent a similar replacement but never asked me if that was what i wanted. They have offered me 10% compensation and to keep the item that i do not want, despite their email to say that once the item arrives if I still want to return it, they will be happy to assist with the return process and provide a full refund. Like other buyers i thought this was a UK company, i would never have bought it otherwise and i certainly dont want an air cooler similar to one i bought at Toolstation for £70 and pay £206

There’s lots of reviews on here from people ordering air conditioners and receiving fans. That’s me as well…

I asked them to cancel the order, no reply. Took 2 weeks to arrive, then when I asked to return the item, no reply.

Funnily enough, as soon as my credit card provider escalated the dispute, I got my money back. Only now the product page has disappeared, but the website continues.

Hopefully other people do more checking than me, and don’t suffer the same headache!

Ordered a 12000BTU air conditioner after a quick scroll through 5-star reviews. Upon ordering, I saw the receipt in Australian Dollars and the fact that it shipped from China. After more detailed research of DecorsDeluxe, I tried to contact them to cancel, but received no answer. As expected, I received a crappy £50 air fan. I contacted them for a return, but again, no answer. I requested a chargeback from Revolut, which is still pending. Guys, mark all 1-star reviews as helpful and flag all 5-star ones, because they are paid.

They are scammers. Some people have received nothing some people have received dodgy fake items that are likely dangers. I ordered a 12000 BTU air con unit and have received a fan for £250. I've contacted the bank and hopefully I can get a refund

This company is a scam. Ordered air-conditioning unit from them. It is nothing like what was advertised, very poor. A glorified hairdryer. Now vanished from their website. Don't waste your money. Although offered "at a significant discount" same model appears on different site £40 cheaper

SCAM. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE. As per many of the recent reviews, I also purchased what was advertised as a 12,000 BTU portable air conditioning unit for more than £240. What arrived weeks later was a tiny, "air cooling" unit the size of a shoebox with a Thai airlines sticker on it as it had been shipped from the other side of the world. Everything was misleading. When I searched for the product again the photos seemed to be changed. I contacted customer service but they immediately became non-responsive. They do not provide any information on how to return items.

This is a scam company, I ordered two portable air conditioner 12000 btu on the 24th June for over £410 bearing in mind my purchase would be secure via PayPal. They have never arrived despite the website stated 5-7 days free delivery. When I contacted them, I was told they ran out of stock as a result of the heatwave, my goods was being manufactured, then shipment issue. They then supplied a tracking link, the Royal Mail tracking stated it would be delivered today. What arrived was a mini air cooler, nothing near the portable airconditioner with an external duct I ordered.
BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY. The Decors Deluxe website and listing have since disappered.

If I could give this company zero stars or even better a negative score I would. I ordered a home air con unit. I understand these are in high demand. However this business took my money immediately and the item was not delivered in the stated time frame. They took ages to reply to emails if they even replied at all, with the same message every time, delivery would be in 7 to.14 days. The order eventually turned up over 3 weeks after ordering and when it did it was not the item I ordered. Ive been sent an air cooler fan which retails at £80 to £100 and not the £240 i was charged. I am now trying to return this item but again not replying to emails. To top it off they offer you a voucher for a trust pilot review. Well I will never purchase from this business again. Take my advice and avoid at all costs. If a deal looks too good to be true
...it is.

I ordered what was advertised as a 12,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner & Dehumidifier for over £240. The website gave the impression it was shipping from the UK, but it was actually dispatched from China.
Before it was dispatched, I requested cancellation twice because it hadn't shipped yet, but both requests were refused. The tracking information they provided was also false (they gave an Evri tracking number, but a parcel arrived with Royal Mail).
When the parcel finally arrived, it wasn't a portable air conditioner at all. I received a small cooling fan that uses ice blocks – a completely different product and nowhere near what was advertised.
After contacting customer service, I was ignored for a while, and ultimately had to raise a Mastercard chargeback through my bank. The merchant accepted the dispute, and the bank closed the case in my favour with a full refund. After this, DecorsDeluxe offered only a 30% refund unless I paid to return the item to Shenzhen, China at my own expense which is against consumer law in the UK.

Based on my experience, I would not purchase from this company again and I suggest that you do not risk your money either.

Edit after their reply: Yes, I got my funds back via a Mastercard dispute, but their own "Resolutions Manager" offered me a 30% refund to keep the item, or if I wanted a full refund I had to ship it back to China from the UK AT MY EXPENSE. That's not even their own policy! Their returns policy clearly said that if the item is incorrect or defective that they are to front the cost of shipping. It also says DecorsDeluxe will provide a replacement for free. That wasn't offered to me, because the correct product never existed and the product listing is a scam. I still do not suggest giving any of your money to this company because as soon as they have it, they will deny cancellations, won't provide the correct item, and won't offer any resolution.

Total scam. Ordered a portable aircon unit and after a month still no updates on delivery, no communication via email, phone number doesn't connect. Been trying almost every day and nothing. I don't usually leave reviews but want to warn others from using this website!!!!

So I did get a reply and by some miracle actually received an item - unsurprisingly NOT the correct item. Totally wrong item and requesting a refund. Still a total scam. Let's see if I get my money back.

Its a scam! Very similar experience to other people leaving reviews. I bought a 12000 BTU AC unit and what arrived 3w later was a tiny cooling device. I emailed several times for a refund and nobody is getting back to me.
