DeleteActivity is a scam FB data…

DeleteActivity is a scam FB data deletion service that has a very convincing web presence and uses trusted reseller Paddle to give itself more credibility. On my invoice, the names that appeared were Paddle, Supermind, and the extension is called 'DeleteActivity.'

This 'service' only simulates content removal. I tested on the following content types: likes, comments, and posts. All it did was show a convincing UI presentation of 'matching' the content flagged for deletion, and then a fake deletion process that took 8 hours in my case (to remove 3800 matched items). After the process completes, nothing has actually been removed.

Every single one of the items that said 'deleted' (you are given a fail count, and mine was allegedly only 2) was still there when I went back into my activity log.

I cleared my cache, checked across Chrome and FireFox, and checked the log on the Android version of the Facebook app just to be sure. 100% of all of my data that 'DeleteActivity' claimed to have removed remains untouched.

This cost me, in New Zealand dollars, nearly $25, as well as a lot of wasted hours. This is the first time I've ever been properly scammed. The site looked so convincing. Well played.

I also notice Paddle/Supermind/DeleteActivity (the services that appear on my invoice) have a low online profile, so it's hard to leave a review and warn others
