Techs are useless

On March 25th I filed a claim that I was having an issue with my pc Turning on and now loading, after diag from their online tech they determined that that motherboard was the issue. They send a technician to replace my motherboard. After replacement the computer would turn on for 1 second and turn off. This was a different issue that I was having to dell requested for me to send the pc to then, which I did. Once they receive the pc they preformed a diagnostic with it and determined it was not cover under warranty because the issue was with the cpu which was not damaged, they denied my warranty because it was damaged. When they replaced my motherboard they would have had to remove my cpu to install in the new motherboard, like I states earlier after the replacement my pc did not even want to turn on anymore. The cpu was damaged by their tech they sent and now trying to put the blame on me. I never open anything up and left that to the technician.

I ordered two PC monitors directly from Dell! Fail !!! After several reports of dates of delivery, a chat and Dell are unable of delivering the monitors to the last date they gave me. After more than 4 months,i had canceled my order. Dell have a really bad costumer services. Never again!!!!

Poor and Disgusting Service From Dell Canada

I gave my Dell Inspiron 7352 laptop for repair with Dell. I paid for express service as well. After diagnosis they came back and said has to replace battery charger inside and also the AC adapter. they sent me an invoice of $257 CAD and asked me to pay otherwise they will not repair. I paid for it. Now they are saying the part is not in stock and expected by Dec 13, 2021. They are not even sure if it is going to come or not.
Today just 10 mts back I called their customer service and the person who spoke to me was so rude and not having any patience to listen. He rudely said to wait till the part comes and take back the laptop as if they are doing a free service.
I would recommend not to buy any of Dell products as their service is very downgraded. They dont even know whether the parts are available or not in inventory before sending the invoice. They are totally disorganized and the service team looks like is from India and they dont even know how to talk to their customers.
I would rate Dell as the most downgraded service that they offer to their customers.

Poor product and warranty!

Bought a Dell Inspiron 3505 and in less than a year of ownership the power adapter fits very loose inside the laptop charging port. Apparently not covered under the Dell one year warranty. Dell wants me to pay to ship the laptop to their repair facility as well as pay for all repair costs for them to fix it. I will never buy another Dell product nor recommend a Dell product to anyone I know. I cannot even leave a product review on their website! Very disappointed!

DELL SUPPORT

I need a bitlocker key to unlock my laptop as windows crashed. Both Microsoft and Dell have been useless. Buy a Chromebook so much better. Dell was absolutely useless as was Microsoft.

What is wrong with this company??

What is wrong with this company??? As time goes on, they get worse and worse.

I have had reason to call over 10 times to Dell regarding an order issue. Every time I call, they read back my email address, which is incorrect. They have added an "s" to my name, and each time, I tell them that is not my email address. I am assured it has been fixed, and the next time I call in, I am told "It was entered incorrectly once (sic), and that the person I am speaking to has corrected it - but they haven't!
Today, I asked, "why can Dell not delete an incorrect email, as both are showing up now." The answer - it is a technical glitch and not everyone can correct it. So I suggest - "Send a note to head office to take off the incorrect email", to which I am told, "I will try".

Sorry - "I will try"???? Dell can't correct a frickin' wrong email. Has this company ever gone downhill in customer support over the years. Unbelievable that a computer company cannot delete an email off their own database...Indicative of the horrible customer service I have experienced since ordering my last laptop! Might be a sign of things to come - the demise of Dell

Do not buy this Laptop

Do not buy this Laptop, nothing but problems. They will not listen to my concerns just that my warrenty is expired and it will cost you money to have the software replaced.
I had troubles within the year of purchase and due to covid could not get any help, they did not care just that it was expired. I got this as a gift and so disappointed in it, I had a toshiba lasted for 10 years and was so happy with it. Never buy from this company. NO understanding of my problem. He said if the software did not work I could get my money back within 2 weeks and I told him that I had it fixed once and it took about 3 weeks for the same problem to reoccur could they extend it to a month to make sure it does not happen again and the answer is no. So if it does not work basically my computer is a throw away. $700.00 out the window. So do not through your money away on a lemon. Thanks

Terrible!

Terrible!! I’m so frustrated waiting for this computer, I Midas well have dial up internet fin the country from 20 years ago. I spend more time waiting for this laptop to load and update than actually using it. I will NEVER buy from dell again, what a waste of my time and money. This laptop is garbage!!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. They haven't given me back my laptop that's in repair for over a month. They haven't been updating me and everytime I call it's someone from overseas who just says that they will call when they have an update - they never do. Never buy a dell laptop.

Their customer service is horrendous! Clearly outsourced and not helpful at all, Will not be a dell customer no more. I’m fairly technically inclined so I was able to sort it out myself in the end, but I sure feel sorry for someone who is not! Just stay away, this company has declined….

Fantastic purchase and technical support experience!

I ordered a Dell Inspiron 7506 (Silver Platinum) laptop from Dell. It arrived much sooner than expected and I am very pleased with the product after more than 2 weeks of use. I use it for home office purposes including multitasking between office tasks such as creating documents, video-conferencing, video streaming, etc. So far it has been very fast and seamless. The fingerprint sign-in is fantastic and works well if you set it up appropriately, scanning your finger at different angles.

The backlit keyboard is perfect for the dark. In some reviews, people have mentioned that the backlit keyboard makes it impossible to see the keys in the daytime, which is true, BUT the simple solution is to just turn off the backlighting during the day (which is the F5 key on my model). Then you can see the keys perfectly during the day.

Next, I had an issue with one of the keys on my brand new laptop. It wasn’t typing properly. I live-chatted with Dell and they immediately set up an appointment for an onsite technician to come to my home to replace the keyboard at no extra cost. Although it took two attempts to get the right part, overall, the experience was so efficient and satisfying that I’ll definitely be extending the warranty. Patience is key and Dell’s live chat communication is great. Dell Technical Support has been cooperative so far as well.

All in all, I love my new laptop and my correspondence with Dell has been stellar!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, BUY ELSEWHERE!
Feb 20, 2021 I purchased a Dell computer online. Experience was great while your spending your money. 3 days later I received a phone call and email with many typos stating that there was something wrong with my order and I needed to resolve the issue. I emailed them back stating that I have no idea what the issue is. Later I received another phone call about it, and the person said they did not receive my email response, and that there was a problem with my address in the billing department and they need my information. Clearly I did not give it to the person as it seemed like a scam or security breach.
I called Dell back, they assured me that it was not a security breach but also that no one had called me or emailed me from Dell. I asked to speak with a manager and she would not transfer me to them, so I asked to speak with the security department and she said they don't have one. She eventually said they have a fraud department, and after some unpleasant back and forth she transferred me to them so I could make a complaint.
The person she referred me to said that the person doesn't exist and transferred me to another department. There the individual I spoke with said that it was not a scam, the person who called me indeed works there and everything was okay with my billing.
So that was that, a terrible experience with terrible communication.
My computer was supposed to arrive on or before March 18, 2021. Today, March 15, 2021, I still had not received a shipping confirmation. I went in to check my order status, and it hasn't even entered production yet. The new shipping date was now end of April!!!!!!!!! I need the computer for work, and clearly I was upset.
I called in to speak with someone about it, and she couldn't really help me but that a manager was going to call me back in 30 minutes. 3.5 hours later I still did not receive a phone call.
I also did not receive an email telling me there would be a delay. Dell clearly doesn't know how to communicate with it's customers. I'm spending a few thousand dollars on my new computer and expected some level of service that would show their appreciation for their customers.
After not receiving a call back, I started a chat and made many complaints, she said that she will talk to a manager and offered me a SMALL discount for my troubles which was a slap in the face. I said that if the manager cared in the first place someone would have called me. She said that a manager will call me back in 30 minutes. No phone call.
I actually just cancelled my order because if this is how the service is before I even have my product, then I can't believe what it would be like if I have an issue with it after the fact.
I'm extremely disappointed with Dell's service, never got to even try the product. But I can imagine if it's anything like the service, it's crap!
Do NOT waste your time researching, buying etc. because they don't care about you as a customer, they just want your money!!

63 days since I first contacted Dell…

63 days since I first contacted Dell support about a faulty 7391 2-in-1. Their digital customer experience support is not from North America. It is delivered by disempowered support staff working out of some far off country where English is far from the primary language.
I continue to need to reach out every day and remind them I am still waiting for a replacement Inspiron 2-in-1 7391 laptop. It is nice that they respond pretty quickly but the answer is a hollow "no updates yet, we have passed the information to the concerned party". Say what?
It reminds me of a Gartner Digital Customer Experience (DCX) conference I once attended where I saw a study that corelated company success with a good DCX.
Sad but Dell is not going to survive with this level of service. I just can't see it. You can't stay in business by ignoring the customers.

This company is absolutely horrendous

This company is absolutely horrendous. My Laptop is only 2.5 years old and now requiring to change the charge port that's soldered on the motherboard. I have been dealing with Dell for 4 days this week and not to mention many hours on the phone. They don't do anything, they don't help with ordering parts, everything is proprietary. I would say Dell has the worst customer service/tech support ever out of any business. I now class Dell computers at the bottom of the barrel with Apple. My old $275 Toshiba laptop lasted longer than this and even my old HP laptop which was $350 - $400 was better. This machine is junk especially when you order Dell parts from Dell themselves and your getting messages that its no authentic. Save yourself lots off problems and frustrations and STAY AWAY from Dell.

BUYER BEWARE...I ordered a keyboard during the first week of Nov 2020. I am a widow on a limited pension and I ordered the keyboard as a Xmas present for my daughter because she has carpal tunnel. I immediately realized I ordered the wrong keyboard, as she required an ergonomic one. I canceled the order within 24 hours as I had not yet received a confirmation. Two day later I received notification the item was shipped. The order was retrieved from the shipper before it was dispatched to me. Dell advised I would receive a refund 10 to 15 days after they received the product. It has been 2 1/2 months. It is now midway through Jan 2021. Despite numerous requests to update the status of my refund, I HAVE RECEIVED NO RESPONSE. Extremely poor internal processes and lack of customer service. Never will I order anything from this organization. I'm very upset. I have all documentation...I have scored them 1 star. I wish I could give them no stars for this review.

I bought a Dell XPS 15 9500 in…

I bought a Dell XPS 15 9500 in September. It's a top of the line C$3500 laptop.

The laptop has no USB or HDMI ports, rather it has an adapter that is connected, which lets you connect external appliances like a mouse, keyboard and monitor.

After 4 months, this adapter stopped working. After one chat session and speaking to two support staff on a very unclear line and limited English skills (clearly outsourced to India), I was told that the warranty does not cover the adapter.

It goes against all sense of decency and trust. Dell sends a clear message that they do not care about their customers and they do not take responsibility for the quality of the products they sell.

Disappointed Services and products had never arrived

I ordered 24in monitors on Nov. 27 for the Black Friday sale event. However, the orders were never delivered after a month and half. Made numerous chats sessions with CSRs, I was promised that the order was expedited and will be delivered the next days. One week after another, the promises never fulfilled. After I made calls to the call center today, I was told that the monitor will not be available, as the company oversold the monitor that was on sale. The company have no idea if the monitor would be ever available, and suggest me to cancel my orders and made purchases to a different monitor on the Dell website. I was really disappointed for their never fulfilled delivery, services and promises.
