Have a Denplan policy through work for my family and I. Only recently used it and I must say the process for submitting claims and subsequent authorisation and payment has been seamless. Very timely and efficient, generally paid within 7 days time which I think is great.
Have recently contacted Denplan via the live chat to query coverage for a bite plate, thanks to Sarah for answering my questions. Great service from start to finish.

My NHS Dentist contacted me to say that unless I took out a plan, I would be removed from their Client list 🤷♂️
So I took out a Denplan subscription in order to preserve my place at a good Dental Surgery
In a whole year, I received no contact from anybody about anything (until I stopped paying them, when they suddenly made immediate contact !)
So I am left feeling that this is a scam with no discernible benefit - what was I paying for ? 🤔

They're very nice once you get through to them on the phone, but it's very difficult to do that until you've signed up. The signup form doesn’t display well on a phone. I had to complete a contact form, wait for a reply with a phone number, phone the number and listen to a long message before being told the office is closed, wait until it's open, and then phone and argue with a bot for a while before I could speak to someone. They don't seem to have competition so I guess there's not much incentive to be accessible.

I would like to share my excellent experience with Denplan. I contacted them yesterday regarding a document from four years ago that had been requested by Bupa. I had the pleasure of speaking with Beth, who was extremely professional, courteous, and genuinely helpful throughout our conversation.
Beth took the time to fully understand my request and handled it with great efficiency. Our discussion was clear and reassuring, and I was very impressed by the level of customer service provided. As promised, the required documents were sent to my email within 24 hours, which exceeded my expectations.
I truly cannot thank Beth and the Denplan team enough for their outstanding support and prompt assistance. This level of service reflects great credit on the organisation.

I was really impressed by the speed of response, bearing in mind that I contacted Denplan in the middle of the Christmas holiday period. I was a long way from my home surgery yet two hours later they had found me an appointment a short drive away for later that day!!
Since then, Harry's help with the admin and claim forms has been extremely helpful!
