This web site is SUPER SHADY-- avoid !!!

I purchased a medium grey nike t shirt--The seller had 3 pictures posted of the t shirt being this color- Yet, I was sent a solid dark black t shirt. I promptly filed a dispute, sent these shady people the pictures on the listing & the black T shirt I was sent & the shady Depop people denied my dispute, which was very clear cut. These sleazos have no customer service number or ability to use a chat.

Depop is Temu on steroids!
Finally, the black market of counterfit items has a platform to sell without any repercussions.
I have been on the platform (as a buyer) for almost a year. I have reported blatant cases of counterfit items being sold on the platform and absoyno action was taken.
Depop charges fees to sellers, therefore, there isnno incentive to penalize sellers selling ILLEGAL items.
I can say with certainty that 99.9% of the items on Depop are counterfit/fake.

Why this platform is not investigated is beyond me!

Don't waste your time or money on this platform.
There is a reason they have a 2.8 oit of 5 score

Horrible I don't recommend it to anyone I sold an item and I couldn't send it so I made the refund on paypal, I'm 1 day without the refund having been confirmed in the app and this morning they charged me 16€ I don't know why it's pending.

Suspension and Payment Issues

I had a really disappointing experience with Depop. My account was permanently suspended after I reported another user for sending inappropriate messages. Instead of being supported, I was penalized, which felt like a lack of proper review and context.

I also had an issue where one of my listings was flagged, but I was never given a clear opportunity to correct it before the suspension.

On top of that, I still had a balance in my account at the time, which made the situation even more stressful due to the uncertainty around my funds.

I understand platforms need rules, but I wish there was a more fair and transparent process before taking such permanent action.

The coach bag I was sent was an awful counterfeit coach bag. I thought I was buying a second hand bag. I received a full refund of 168.00 plus postage from Depop when I returned the bag so the service is great but now the bag is back for sale…. I think you should return fakes to Depop, not the seller.

Listed for £260, paid 260 TRY – no response from support

I listed my original Louis Vuitton scarf for £260 on this platform, but it was displayed as 260 TRY without my knowledge. I live in the UK and have no connection to Turkey.

I shipped the item believing I would receive £260. Instead, I was paid only 260 Turkish Lira, which caused me a significant financial loss.

After the transaction, the buyer blocked me, and I have been unable to contact them. At the same time, I have contacted the platform multiple times and received no response at all.

This situation is extremely suspicious and concerning. I have taken screenshots as evidence. I also discovered that other items I listed were displayed in TRY instead of GBP, but I only realized this after suffering a major loss.

I strongly warn others to be very careful when using this platform.

I expect a full refund and a proper investigation into this issue.

Depop Protected Me From Scam Buyer

I’m a seller on Depop and had someone try to scam me after they bought an item and tried to return it for a refund without actually sending the item back. I recorded myself opening the package and submitted documentation of the reports I made to various regulatory bodies for mail fraud and after they looked into the matter they ended up giving my money back and banned the scammer’s account. Their customer service took about a day to get back to me but they ended up being super helpful! Shoutout to Tom L. from Depop Help!
