SCAMMERS!!

SCAMMERS!!
BEWARE!! EVERYONE. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE!

This company has gone into liquidation and have rebranded themselves as EE Glazing.

Nothing went right with this company. They are quick to take your money. Scammers from the beginning till the end. Appalling workmanship, atrocious customer service. Numerous failures to show up. We had a surveyor come out, that told us the installation was appalling and unprofessional, and needs re-doing again.

Pushy customer services requesting full payment numerous times even though the installation wasn't complete. No one ever replied back an email or phone call. Installers failed to show up many times, so had wasted days off work unpaid. Broken several items in my property unpaid for. The list is long!

Luckily I only paid a deposit, unfortunately I have lost that money.

THIEVES WHO WANT TO STEAL YOUR MONEY

After a cold call, we agreed to have a salesman visit to give us a quote, which was meant to be valid for 12 months, which is the only reason we agreed to the visit. After a hard sell, we agreed to go ahead and paid a large deposit via credit card. However, a few days later, our financial situation changed and we could no longer afford to go ahead. We followed the instructions given in tiny-sized lettering on their contract and emailed their cancellation email address within 5 days of signing the contract, so well within their paltry 7-day cancellation policy on their terms and conditions.

We received an emailed reply acknowledging the cancellation and advising that we would receive a cheque within 28 days. We couldn't understand why we had to wait so long - why not refund us straight away? But OK, if we've no option but to wait, we'll do that - despite the fact we needed the deposit back desperately. I sent a couple of emails within that 28-day waiting period, reminding them that we were expecting our deposit back by the agreed date, but never received any acknowledgement or reply. The 28-day waiting period end date came and went - still no cheque. Emailed them again, chasing it up. No reply. So, following their complaints procedure, I raised a complaint and should have received a reply within 5 working days. Heard nothing.

In the end, we had to ask our credit card company to intervene, and DG Solutions had the audacity to say that they had no record of our request to cancel! They were still trying to steal our deposit! We gave the credit card company all the information we had, including the emailed acknowledgement of our cancellation from DG Solutions and we finally got our deposit back.

[EDIT: 13/03/23: it was our credit card company that refunded us, NOT EE GLAZING / DG SOLUTIONS].

Given our experience, plus the terrible reviews of others who have had very shoddy work carried out by DG Solutions, I am so very grateful that we didn't go ahead with this company. There are plenty of other REPUTABLE companies out there.

Also, according to Companies House, DG Solutions was dissolved in 2018. Yet they still continued to trade 4 years later? I believe this company is now trading as EE Glazing.

[EDIT: 13/03/23: DG SOLUTIONS IS now trading as EE GLAZING. Our contract clearly states: "DG Solutions and DG Windows are trading styles of EE Glazing Limited].

BIG TIME SCAMMERS

STAY AWAY!

Cold call turned up to our house, very pushy salesperson who explained what they do, said that the team will call us in 15mins to confirm that he actually came around to the house otherwise he'll have to come back around which was odd!
The following Monday someone turned up and took 'estimated measurements', told us he could offer us "trade price" as there was a job somewhere local in the area and our stuff will be added to their invoice.
Price difference was shocking. Was told we had to make a decision right away and that a surveyor would come in the next 3-4 days. No surveyor turned up. No one reached out to book any further surveys or appointments. Not once was we told about the cancellation period, even listened to the camera in the house and was never mentioned.
We then read the reviews and thought 'this is daylight mockery, could not believe we had been cowboyed'. They also now go by a different name!
Tried to call numerous times to cancel our order, no answer. Finally reached someone and they refused to refund us our deposit as we had to call within 7 working days. Most companies allow 14-30 working days so was shocked when it didn't apply to this company.
Female who picked up was so rude and kept asking me 'is it my fault you didn't read the terms & conditions, you now have to pay £700 for 'administration fees', I told her I was not paying a penny! Luckily we only paid a deposit, unfortunately we have lost that money.
We will definitely NEVER open the door to a saleman again and more importantly let them into our house!!!

Update I have contacted Barclaycard who I used to pay deposit to DG solutions.
And they have refunded the deposit to me .Still can’t believe someone can take your money and think nothing of the stress and worries it causes. So if you paid by Barclaycard it’s worth getting in touch.
Lesson learnt be Wary of salesman knocking on your door.

I gave a deposit in November to DG…

I gave a deposit in November to DG Solutions after a salesman came round. A few days later I decided to cancel. I cancelled as per the agreement, 25 days later no cheque came. I rang them the week before Christmas, they informed me it will be in the post on 23rd. It never arrived. Rang them last week, said it will be sent Friday 6th Jan, rang them up on Friday, hadn't been sent. Phoned them on Mondag 9th, asking for the money to be transferred into my bank as it has gone past the 25 days. They agreed said it will be put in Tuesday morning, after three phone calls explaining it still had not come through, they finally delivered and I have my money back.

I have read a lot of comments about losing the deposit. Do not give up, be persistent ask for a bank transfer if it has been over 25 days. Do not give up. I spoke to two people Carly and Rachel, in all fairness to both of them they apolagised for the delay in getting it back to me. Regardless it has put me off salesman for life.

We had our wndows replaced by DG…

We had our wndows replaced by DG solutions 18 months ago. We now have a problem with them and need them to come and assess them and sort them out. However, they have gone into administration but seem to be operating under a different company name called EE Glazing. I contacted them and they will not help. Contacted the solicitors dealing with their insolvency who cannot help too. This is disgusting behaviour and I hope no one uses EE Glazing

Appalling installation and aftercare…

In August we had all our windows replaced. One window was cracked through the middle and was fixed with tape until a replacement was sent out..... in November. None of out windows are airtight, there are no seals around the windows. In our kitchen, the masonry is so badly damaged that it is now sodden and water is running through. I have repeatedly tried to contact them. We even had a surveyor from the company who agreed that the installation is appaling. We have still not had anyone in touch in January!!!!!

DG - No show for plastering works - No contact

Great product and installation. The installers were friendly and cleared up but were let down by poor management and coordination with many phone calls. Tried arranging the re-visiting for the plastering work. This was not completed after 2 attempts.
No Show No calls No Website

The company not answering the phone now. Think there could be an issue, as heard they could have changed the name. I hope this can be rectified as would use them again.

Nice new conservatory! Job well done!

We first came into contact with DGS (AKA EE) after noticing the work done on a neighbour's house, and getting a recommendation. We then proceeded to check out the reviews on Trust Pilot. Quite frankly the Trust Pilot reviews scared the life out of me. Even though the overall score for DGS was quite high, there were still a reasonable number of negative comments. But we decided that seeing an actual job DGS had completed and getting a recommendation was good enough.
Sales person (Enzo) came to our house 3/11/22. It was touch and go as to whether we were going to go ahead with DGS as I couldn't get the negative reviews out of my head. However to put our minds at ease it was suggested by Enzo that we pay half the costs up front and the remaining amount ONLY when we were happy with the completed work. That assurance swung it for us. No sooner had Enzo left we had a call from the surveyor arranging an appointment for 2 days later.
3 weeks afterwards we received a call saying that our conservatory was ready for installation.
Jim and Clint fitted our conservatory. Things went quite smoothly. However once the basic installation was completed there still remained some plastering to do. We received a call from DGS saying that the plasterer assigned to our job had contracted long Covid and we should find our own plasterer to finish the job with the bill being adjusted accordingly. I must admit I didn't believe this story initially, but it actually turned out to be true. True to their word DGS didn't take payment until we were completely satisfied with the job. DGS did manage to find us another plasterer 3 or 4 days later, but we stuck with our own plasterer. To cut this long story short we are very pleased with our new conservatory. The only reason this hasn't been a 5 star rating is because my wife wasn't pleased with something that I considered minor.

Mixed bag!

Tidied up after selves. Workmen polite. Only complaint would be management, they were very rude regarding payment even though we made it the next day and we’re demanding payment which I couldn’t personally make as the money was in my husbands account. Pushy sales techniques and even though the salesman was lovely it did leave a sour taste. Can’t comment on window effectiveness yet but can’t say I’ve noticed a huge difference considering they’re meant to be a grade windows. Still waiting for paperwork and certifications to come through.

DO NOT USE..

DO NOT USE..
2 years we've been waiting for our door 2 YEARS! and now they are telling us we can't have the door we've brought and paid for but a cheaper off brand looking gate, we where also told at the start that we cant have a door and frame separately now we are being forced to do so, ive had a 3rd party out to check their work and they said its the worst fitting they have seen in they're 30+ years, this is the second winter with a drafty door and windows, ombudsman is completely on our side and I'm thinking of taking this company to small clames or rouge traders. 17 missed appointments or no shows no call or even a text I've taken time off work each time loss of earnings, I've posted videos on social media of their horrendous work with tags so you're more then welcome to check out this sham, date won't go back far enough

Appalling Customer Care Services

Same experience as others who have had their windows replaced by this company. They are relentless chasing for new work but the customer services and after services care is appalling. 9 years ago our windows were fitted, all done in a day, beautiful! A few months ago one of the windows blew, after several calls finally I was able to talk to someone who explained that the warranty was only for the frame and not the glass... seriously?! Finally someone came round to check the window and measure the area that needed replacing, someone was supposed to call back to explain the price, etc but that was it, not heard from them again. Every time I call they say someone will call you back in 5mins... Noone calls. The services guy even said that I should have the window replaced by someone local and it was too much hassle for them to do it...!!! We are now in winter and the glass is still broken, water coming in, condensation, cold, etc... I would not recommend this company

Thiefs

After a convincing sales speech we signed the contract and paid the deposit. 2 weeks later a surveyor came out. We were promised 3-4 weeks installation at the start, but after the surveyor it was 2 weeks chasing and asking for installation dates when DH solutions decided that they want another £700 or they won’t carry out the job. They believe they have underquoted. After much misery and knowing that changing to another company will mean the installation is after Christmas, we agreed to the additional charges. Then they wanted all the money paid in advance. This was strange and weird after them asking for extra money. So we said no. We were promised a refund, but 2.5 weeks later there was no money received. Calling them up we were confronted that the company went into administration and is now called EE Glazing. However they will honour the refund. Still waiting for the money back and wonder what would have happened if we pay in advance!
