DG Solutions 

This was a door-to-door enquiry they made with us and we agreed to a quick look into our windows as we were looking to change them anyway. Tom came and went through all of our windows and made us a price that we agreed. After some weeks, the surveyor came and looked into it all, without giving us any clue of any issue that they might've encountered upon installation at all.
After that, we agreed a date for installation (tomorrow). Today, less than an hour ago, and less than 24 hours to start the installation, they e-mailed us to directly cancel the contract due to be an undercosted job, no other explanation given.
I called them and asked and it turned out they put the production of the windows on hold one week and a half ago without notifying us whatsoever, and made the decision to cancel to day without consulting just because they thought we wouldn't want to go through.
Quite clearly, they never had the intention to come and fix the windows and doors whatsoever.

I have only given one star but quite frankly it doesn't deserve any. When my door was fitted, after me getting very annoyed when the installation was cancelled twice, the door trim joining the two halves of the stable door was damaged. I have been fobbed off with appointments to fit where nobody turned up. I have now been asked for photos so that they can get the trim from another company and they want to make sure they get the right one. If they didn't have the trim at all why did they make two appointments to fit a non existent item? Rubbish company, don't touch with a barge pole. My door trim still isn't fixed.

ADDITIONAL REVIEW: The fitter eventually came along after numerous phone calls, requests for photos of the damaged trim and delayed appointments. When he arrived today he had been supplied the wrong piece of trim so my door still isn't fixed. What a bunch of absolute wasters this company is. DG Solutions: I want compensation.

Have one of their Conservatory's and had a small leak from a panel and from guttering. Called in at their offices in Hainault and immediate help and arrangements for installer to call. Installer attended fixed the leak on the panel and sorted out the guttering. All the time everybody involved was positive and wanted to provide a service. Cannot speak highly enough of the effort made to assist me.

I would not recommend this company, they are totally unprofessional.
I have a small break in one window, a massive shattering in another and another that does not shut. Despite promises to come and fix, they have not and neither to they reply to emails or ring back as promised. A lot of the time they do not answer their phone - either head office or the Exeter branch. Now left with sticking tape over the very broken window and very upset and angry.

Our experience was very good They turned up on time they put covers down everywhere the two main guys Mick and Dave were very friendly as were the rest of the team they worked hard and the end result was great we are very pleased The whole thing was very slick from the salesman to the end product

We had 3 windows & a patio door fitted on Monday (bank holiday). We were expecting at least 2 fitters, but we got one powerhouse of a man called Adam who fitted the lot on his own. Adam did an amazing job. Very professional and very clean & tidy. Later on this year we want the windows at the rear of the house replaced which we hope Adam will be free to do. Highly recommended.

We were doorstep cold called and in a moment of weakness agreed to a salesperson coming to our home. To cut a long story short, we ended up buying replacement windows and doors. There were a lot of delays and having ordered in early March 2021 our installation was finally completed in July of that year. In November I noticed cold air coming in under the front door which had bowed in the centre. DG sent several engineers out and confirmed a manufacturing fault. We were then stuck between the manufacturer and retailer for six months until finally a replacement was agreed in June 2022. We heard nothing more so phoned DG in July and finally a fitting date of 18th August was arranged. 18th August came. DG didn’t. No call, no fitting. I rang the Banbury office which went to an O2 voicemail. I rang again later and this time the phone line tripped over to head office. Apparently the van had broken down and the replacement van was too small to get the door on. A phone call would have been helpful. It’s currently eleven days later and I have been unable to speak to Kelly at all. Numerous members of DG’s own staff have emailed her and left voicemail messages for her to contact me and I have heard precisely nothing. I now have a bowed front door, supposedly a replacement waiting to be fitted and absolutely no way of finding out when or even of contacting the person who is supposed to be arranging it. The only person who calls me is the ‘manager at Banbury’ who calls every few months to try and sell me something else. Would I recommend DG solutions? You probably know the answer to that. I’ve given two stars because the windows themselves are fine.

Had Gavin and Leroy come today to install a new front and back door. They worked tirelessly and were very professional. Also they were brilliant with my 3 year old son. The finished product is flawless tidy and I'd happily recommend DG solutions to my friends and family. Shout-out to jack the salesman aswell.

Had windows and a door fitted by Gavin and Lee! Well they were a perfect working team. Nothing was too much trouble and they were both very mindful of me as I had a broken ankle, so made walk ways clear and access to the loo! Will certainly have the company again hands down.
One slight gripe I think it would be nice for the office to give a courtesy call a few days before installing, just for peace of mind

Just had 11 windows and 3 doors replaced The fitters Ryan , Chris and Adam worked tirelessly and produced a fantastic job in just one day
They made sure that all our carpets were protected and cleaned up afterwards

Had new front door and bedroom window fitted recently. DG solutions (Ron and Luke) arrived early (which is always good in my books) and cracked on with the job. They were both polite and friendly. They were happily working while singing (looses sense of the word) along to the music playing.

Scott and Kirk did a fantastic job in fitting our windows, porch and front door. As with all houses there is a need for customisations and they went over and above to make sure the finish really popped! The products are real quality and it has really changed the look of the house. Wife is really happy. Great job. The process from start to finish was quick, easy and to the point. Everything happened as we were initially told.

We had 6 windows replaced 5 days ago. One was a monster of a window in our front room so expected the job to be complex. Chris, Scott & Sam came at 8.30 and by 1.30 the job was done.

Tidy workers clearly conscientious of their work, great taste in music and got serenaded as I worked in the back room!!!

One air vent needs a new clip as it's wobbly but apart from that no issues at all so far.

Was told in the sales pitch that the PVC gets taken away and recycled into Wheelie Bins and we'd get a token refund on any monies made from our used plastic...not heard anything about that so will follow up, but love the idea of recycling the old frames.

We were pestered by a canvasser for a windows and doors quote which we eventually agreed to.

The man that came was polite and ran through the sales pitch with us. He quoted an extortionate price circa £30K which, after a unconvincing marketing campaign opt in and a phone call to "his boss" reduced the quote down to about £12K. This was crazy he said and only because they were desperate to use our house in a marketing campaign which would end in the next couple of days.

So we had to be very quick else we would miss out. Long story short we paid the deposit of close to £2000 but my better judgement convinced me to long at the reviews on here and get some other quotes whilst we were in the cooling off period.

I received cheaper quotes from two very reputable companies with far superior online reviews and a more honest sales pitch.

I cancelled with DG and immediately received confirmation I would get a cheque in the post in 28 days.

It is now 50 days and counting and I have had no cheque. I have called countless times and been lied to and ignored. They have just withheld my deposit in a very dishonest and uncaring way, even threatening legal action didn't prompt them to give me my money.

Fortunately, as I paid with American Express, I have now referred it to their fraud and dispute department and AMEX have refunded me, hopefully they will have more luck getting the money back from DG.

I can only implore you to shop around and find far more trustworthy and reliable companies, who are no more expensive. Many of their 5 star reviews have been written by one time reviewers and all sound the same.

DG Solutions are by a country mile, the worst company I have dealt with and should be ashamed of themselves.

EDIT: in response to DG Solutions response, they did not reissue a cheque, I did not receive one and no cheque has been banked. AMEX dealt with it on my behalf as DG would not take my calls.

We had never heard of this company before but Mark & Alex fitted our new patio doors yesterday, The whole experience was great. They were well organised, efficient and tidy. The doors look great and we are very pleased indeed with them and can highly recommend DG Solutions.

We had the excellent window technician from DG Solutions, John Smythe, who came today and replaced a bay window, cannot fault his work at all, if we need further work carried out in the future would not hesitate to ask for John Smythe. The service given by DG Solutions has been excellent from start to finish.

Broken window after 2 months.
Called for repair and the guy said he would send someone on a date. They really came last innings of the day. Would have preferred a tighter time and thy weren't answering their phone on any line. The window had expanded in the hot hot weather. I guess it can't be blamed.
Good price. OK service.

Have now had DG Solutions for the third time. Left a review for the window fitters. I don’t know who the soffit fitters were but they were excellent and did a fabulous job. Now had porch door replaced by Stuart and Bobby. Again an excellent job. They all appear to take pride in the finished product. They are quick, efficient, tidy and polite. The salesmen have been great and the surveyor is excellent and made great suggestions for both the windows and door. I would highly recommend.

Today we had our new front Door fitted with side panel, would just like to say a big thank you To Ricardo and the Exeter team for tuning this round so quickly.

We had all of our windows, one inner door and three sets of French doors replaced and the job done far exceeded our expectations! The job took 3 days and was carried out by 3 of the friendliest and most efficient fitters who cleaned up after themselves as they worked. They were trustworthy and reliable. We firmly believe that a windows and door installation company is only as good as their fitters and DG Solutions have a great team of fitters with Mick, Scott and Dave. We are also delighted with the quality of the windows and doors.
We chose DG Solutions on the recommendation of my brother-in-law after obtaining a couple of bizarre quotes from other companies. We are so glad we chose DG Solutions and we would highly recommend them.
