Dhl Express is the WORST company that…

Dhl Express is the WORST company that excists. The brokers make mistakes ALL the time and charge you WAY too much. Either they charge u 28% instead of the 21% or they just add extra multi lines to get even more money from you even though they arent in their right to ask this since ive ordered the same kind of products with the same tarrif code. They always get away with this because if you dont pay, they just keep your package hostage and you wont get it. Ill be reporting this scamming company to the goverment and forward them all their emails. Ill also recommend the seller to NEVER use this company again. Stay away!!! Save urself the headache. Because this company is a HUGE scam and they dont even deliver fast. They dont even work on a saturday and like i said, they’ll keep your package hostage and do 0,00% effort to fix their mistake.
So thank you for making me pay 102 euros on an order of 135 euros + 63 euros shipping. Its outragious!! Please be warned.

I am extremely disappointed with DHL…

I am extremely disappointed with DHL Express Customs. My package was held, and they sent me emails demanding fees and fines that were not my responsibility, even threatening legal action. Despite my attempts to clarify the situation, no one from DHL ever responded. Thanks to the support of the seller, the issue was eventually resolved, but the treatment I received from DHL Express Customs was unacceptable.

Very bad service

Very bad service. My son's birthday was five days ago and he still hasn't received his birthday present because of DHL Express Belgium. They are very badly organised, have bad communication and are probably just too lazy to be bothered to do their job. The closest service point from my place in Ixelles is Forest - 6 km away. They keep making false promises (lies) about delivery and it just never gets here. UPS is so much better. AVOID DHL IF POSSIBLE!

total disaster

total disaster - delivered a package to wrong division of the receiver and now 3 months I can not receive my money back because of their actions. STAY AWAY FROM THOSE. They declared the package as lost, but because I am not belgium citizen they do not want to compensate me and the company which should of received the package states we never received this so we do not care. DHL Belgium you need to close ASAP. You are bringing only bad experience to the customers and do not want to take responsibility for your actions!

Room for improvement

I ordered a birth certificate from the UK General Register Office (GRO) so they played a part in this because if you choose priority delivery, the GRO for some reason don't give you the DHL tracking number at the point of despatch. You can only contact the GRO if the shipment doesn't arrive after three weeks. At that three week point, the GRO gave me my DHL tracking number.

It was then that I discovered that my shipment had been "on hold" with DHL sitting somewhere in Belgium, for two weeks. When I called DHL they said delivery had been attempted twice to my address in Brussels, in that time. But no card had been left in my mailbox on these occasions and, as I had had no tracking number, I was totally unaware of this.

The only reason I'm giving three stars instead of one star is that the DHL customer service was really helpful. They changed the delivery address and got the shipment delivered to my office that same day.

Do they care?

Do they care?
Worst of all: no tracking, they deliver between 8am and 8am. No update during the day. Horrible. Well, so far all packages were delivered, well if you stayed home from 8 to 8. Amazon, what do you need to get rid of this company?

Advance Payment Fees ?!!!

I sent a package from japan to belgium and received Import Duty/Tax payment Alert from DHL today. The price of the product is only 5500 JPY ( = EUR 42,50 ).
But DHL asks for EUR 26.33 for duty/tax. It is more than %50 value of the package. they answered that it is VAT+Advance Payment Fees which DHL charges for processing and clearing your shipment, 2.75% of the customs fee with a minimum of 17.55 euros.

I already paid shipping for DHL. I am gladly ready to pay VAT ( 21% : 8.78 Eur)

But I do not think 17.55 euros for processing and clearing my shipment is fair! It is more than VAT. It is near %50 of the package value!
I will never ship anything with DHL and tell others do not use DHL anymore.

Cant get worse

Ordered something from England. Next day it arrived in Brussels and I paid the import fees immediately. Contacted support, they confirmed that the parcel would reach me at home. It stayed 4!!! days in Brussels (Antwerp to Brussels is 9hrs on foot). On the day of the expected arrival, I asked again if it would reach me at home. They confirmed. Eventually I received an SMS that I had to go pick it from a DHL point, doing 15km by bike. You sure you're a courier company?
