I've found Dialpad really helpful when…

I've found Dialpad really helpful when it comes to handling customer interactions and calls. The interface is straightforward, so it's easy to make and receive calls without having to go through a lot of steps. Having customer information and call-related tools readily available also makes conversations smoother, especially when handling multiple customers throughout the day.

One of the things I find most useful is how easy it is to keep track of calls and interactions. It helps make sure that important details aren't missed and makes it easier to follow up when needed. Overall, it makes the whole calling process feel more organized and less time-consuming.

The WFM feature is another part that I find very useful. Being able to easily check schedules, shifts, and other work-related information helps me manage my time better and know what I need to prioritize for the day. It also makes it easier to stay aware of my schedule without having to constantly ask for updates.

As an employee, I think Dialpad makes the day-to-day workflow much easier. It keeps communication and scheduling in one place, which helps me stay organized and focus more on the actual customer rather than spending time figuring out the tools I'm using.

Dialpad forces you into a 1 year…

Dialpad forces you into a 1 year subscription for a reason. The software is unintuitive, the service is inconsistent and the customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with.
The interface is excruciating but last year when they decided we had to buy text credits instead of billing us like they had been doing, was the last straw for me. Because if your credits run out you just don't get the texts. This created some hard conversations with customers when they are used to getting quick feedback from my team.
So we decided to just let the contract run out. But Dialpad requires a credit card for the account and auto renewed our $2200.00 subscription. We contacted them immediately via phone calls and emails. It has been 2 months of continuous emails and calls with no response. So i am sharing my experience hoping to get some response from them this way.

Hello David,

Thank you for sharing your feedback, though we are truly sorry to hear about your experience. This is certainly not the standard of service we strive to provide, and we understand your frustration regarding the communication delay, the renewal process, and the transition to text credits.

We want to make this right and investigate exactly where we fell short with your customer service experience. To help us locate your account and assist you directly, we have requested your contact information through TrustPilot's secure messaging feature.

Please keep an eye out for that request so we can review your account details, address the pending auto-renewal issue, and get this resolved for you as quickly as possible.

Great communication and reliable calling platform

I’ve been using Dialpad for business calls and have found it to be a really useful and reliable platform. The call quality is generally clear, and the interface is easy to use and navigate.

I particularly like the features that help with managing calls and keeping track of conversations, which makes it much easier to stay organised when dealing with clients.

Overall, Dialpad has been a great tool for business communication, and I’d recommend it to businesses looking for a professional and easy-to-use calling solution.

Why Dialpad Has Become My Preferred Calling Platform

I've used several calling applications, but Dialpad stands out because it's fast, responsive, and very user-friendly. One feature I really appreciate is that when I click on a prospect's phone number, the call connects immediately, and it often displays the prospect's company name automatically.

The messaging feature is also excellent, it works just like a regular chat application, allowing you to send messages, emojis, and communicate seamlessly with your team. What really sets Dialpad apart is its highly accurate call transcription. The transcripts make it easy to review conversations, capture important details, and ensure nothing gets missed. Having access to both the transcript and call recording afterward is incredibly valuable for follow-ups and record-keeping.

I've used Dialpad on both desktop and mobile, and the mobile app is especially fast and easy to use. The iOS version, in particular, provides a great user experience. Overall, it's a reliable, efficient, and worthwhile communication platform.

Absolutely appalling experience with Dialpad. I would not recommend them to any business.

I’m a small business owner who initially chose Dialpad to provide a phone service for my team. What followed was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had with a service provider.

I spent two months going back and forth with their sales team trying to arrange a contract that actually suited our business needs. I was repeatedly sent contracts with requested changes either not made, completely misunderstood, or, on several occasions, the wrong contract entirely. What should have been a relatively straightforward process became an exhausting and unnecessarily time-consuming exercise.

Eventually, we got the account set up, only to discover that the service we had requested and been promised was not actually what was delivered.

At that point, I had completely lost confidence in Dialpad and decided to cancel the service. My cancellation was confirmed by Dialpad in February.

You would think that would be the end of it.

Unfortunately not.

Six months later, Dialpad is still charging my card. I have contacted their customer support team multiple times to try to resolve this, yet the issue remains unresolved and I continue to be charged for a service I cancelled months ago.

The combination of an incompetent sales process, a service that didn't match what was promised, and customer support that has been unable to stop billing after a confirmed cancellation has made my experience with Dialpad unbelievably poor.

I genuinely cannot understand how a company providing business-critical communication services can operate with this level of disorganisation and lack of customer support.

I would not recommend Dialpad to another business based on my experience.

I have since moved to CloudTalk, and the difference has been night and day. The service has been far better and, most importantly, their customer support has actually been responsive and helpful.

If you're a business looking for a phone system, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Hello Brandon,

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, and I am deeply sorry for the frustrating experience you’ve had with our sales process, service setup, and ongoing billing. Continuing to charge you after a confirmed cancellation is unacceptable, and I completely understand your frustration.

I have submitted a request via Trustpilot to obtain your contact details so I can locate your account immediately and determine where your cancellation request currently stands. Once I have your information, I will prioritize resolving this billing issue and ensuring it is fully rectified.

Dialpad has been extremely disappointing

Our experience with Dialpad has been extremely disappointing.

Right from the get go we paid an extra $2,000 for onboarding, and it ended up being a complete waste of money. The biggest issue, though, is the contract. The sales process made it seem like we'd have flexibility after the first year, but instead we discovered we were locked into a three-year renewal. That's on me for not catching the fine print, but Dialpad refused to offer any flexibility or work with us in any way.

To make matters worse, our business text messages are blocked far too often, making the platform unreliable for customer communication.

We won't be renewing when our contract finally ends, and I can't recommend Dialpad based on our experience.

Poor Customer Service and Inconsistent Follow-Through

I've been disappointed with my experience with Dialpad's customer support.

On July 22, I contacted Dialpad with a simple question about when our service agreement ends. I was told that someone from their customer service team would get back to me. As of August 3, I still have not received a response.

Unfortunately, this hasn't been an isolated experience. Over the time we've used Dialpad, customer support has been inconsistent. I've had appointments scheduled with support representatives that were missed without notice, and follow-up communication has often been unreliable. When you're running a business, dependable customer service is just as important as the product itself.

The platform itself has some strengths, but the lack of timely communication and consistent support has made resolving even simple issues frustrating. I hope Dialpad invests in improving its customer service experience because it has been the weakest part of working with them.
