Dialpad has been extremely disappointing
Our experience with Dialpad has been extremely disappointing.
Right from the get go we paid an extra $2,000 for onboarding, and it ended up being a complete waste of money. The biggest issue, though, is the contract. The sales process made it seem like we'd have flexibility after the first year, but instead we discovered we were locked into a three-year renewal. That's on me for not catching the fine print, but Dialpad refused to offer any flexibility or work with us in any way.
To make matters worse, our business text messages are blocked far too often, making the platform unreliable for customer communication.
We won't be renewing when our contract finally ends, and I can't recommend Dialpad based on our experience.
Poor Customer Service and Inconsistent Follow-Through
I've been disappointed with my experience with Dialpad's customer support.
On July 22, I contacted Dialpad with a simple question about when our service agreement ends. I was told that someone from their customer service team would get back to me. As of August 3, I still have not received a response.
Unfortunately, this hasn't been an isolated experience. Over the time we've used Dialpad, customer support has been inconsistent. I've had appointments scheduled with support representatives that were missed without notice, and follow-up communication has often been unreliable. When you're running a business, dependable customer service is just as important as the product itself.
The platform itself has some strengths, but the lack of timely communication and consistent support has made resolving even simple issues frustrating. I hope Dialpad invests in improving its customer service experience because it has been the weakest part of working with them.
A Great Platform
Dialpad has been a reliable communication platform for our team. The call quality is excellent, the interface is easy to use, and the support team is responsive and helpful whenever assistance is needed. Overall, it's been a great experience.
Jowalsh made my experience great.
Not My Phone
This is a great way for the company or individual to keep in contact with employees and any other contacts that they do not want to keep in their phones. I would highly recommend this!

Unresolved billing and inconsistent support
Unfortunately, our overall experience with Dialpad has been very disappointing.
From the onboarding stage onwards, getting clear and effective assistance has required far more follow-up than we expected. We encountered ongoing problems with the Salesforce integration, including automation and lead creation, and the issue repeatedly moved between different teams without clear ownership or a timely resolution.
One Technical Support representative handling the Salesforce case has been a notable exception. They have remained engaged, persistent and genuinely focused on finding a solution, which we appreciate. Unfortunately, this has not reflected our broader experience with onboarding, account management and billing support.
Billing has been the most serious problem. We were quoted an overall monthly cost of approximately €42, but considerably higher amounts were charged. We first reported the issue at the beginning of July and have since spent weeks trying to obtain a clear explanation and correction.
After a long exchange with several representatives, we received only a partial refund of €19. We were then charged more than expected again. The case was eventually said to have been escalated to Customer Success, but we have still not received a substantive follow-up, a clear resolution or confirmation that the billing setup has been properly corrected.
We understand that technical and billing problems can happen. What has made this experience unacceptable is the lack of ownership, consistent communication and effective follow-through after the problems were repeatedly reported.
At this point, we are very dissatisfied with the service and cannot recommend Dialpad based on our experience. We will update this review if the outstanding issues are properly resolved.

Absolutely disorganized chaos
Absolutely disorganized chaos. No onboarding support, IT support is a chaos of per issue ticket system that floods your inbox, no extensions but rather each team member has their own number, which once you go live will each receive dozens of spam calls a day. Our mainline got flagged as spam. Thankfully we only signed up for a month-to-month contract to try it out and I can say with certainty it is HORRIBLE.
