I appreciate how user friendly Dialpad is. Though there are minor improvements that could make it even better, I think it's a great asset to our organization. Definitely recommend!

DP works very well with several 3rd party CRMS, syncs across all your devices, includes web meetings features (similar to zoom). Best of all tech support is immediate. Highly recommended!

I was on a tight budget this month and was not able to pay the renewal on time.. Dialpad understands my situation and let me use it until my money arrives by the end of the month. Highly recommended. I never encounter any technical problems using the app been using it for more than a year now.

Their customer service has been GREATLY…

Their customer service has been GREATLY communicative, and on top of helping me resolve my issues.

El-Roy Bragado was extremely helpful and listened to my concerns, constantly keeping me updated on the progress of my applications and concerns.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY !!!

I attempted Dialpad (formerly openphone) with with an open-mind and good intent. The experience was terrible and they never resolved the issue.
1.) It took my business seven applications to finally get 10 tdlc approved. When approved, it did not affect anything within dialpad. They would not let me send outgoing text messages with the approved line. There was large fonts on keypad page stating "SMS/MMS from unregistered numbers are currently blocked
company-wide. Contact your administrator for more information." (I was only allowed to reply to text messages that I already received. I had to goto the thread, then reply. The business could not send the first text- even to a contact.)
2.) For a period of over six-months, I contacted a couple people at dialpad about the issue. In my internal settings next to the number, there was a note stating "Null." I questioned AI about the note, and it stated that the internal settings of the phone provider were off. When I mentioned this to dialpad, they removed the note- but never fixed the issue.
3.) They never once offered a phone number to try to resolve the issue. (This was only exposed on the cancellation page.)
4.) When submitting a support ticket, there is a form with drop-down questions. When asking about the topic in issue, "text" is not even worthy enough to be an option.
5.) Same form, they ask "How critical is the issue?" Only two options "Low business impact," and "not significant business impact." That is how little that they think of their clients- their issues are not of high-importance.
6.) Their idea of customer service is to ask the client questions. They get an "A" for curiosity. Yet, they never resolve anything.
7.) Their focus is on nice colors and trying to impress with their website. Yet, the interface is obsolete- not altering the frame-work when they added new features, it is very difficult to find or reach anything- often a rabbit-hole of menus. Instead of resolving the core issue, they created a "Dialpad University" consisting of many videos. Business owners, unless you're willing to go back to college to get a "Dialpad Diploma", don't waste your time nor money with these guys !!!

long-term contract (5 years) avoid Dialpad

Be very careful when you sign a contract with Dialpad. I didn't realize I was getting locked into a 5-year term, and they never even emailed me a copy of the signed contract afterward. To make things worse, my customer success specialist completely stopped responding to my emails.

I’ve already stopped using the app entirely. It has a steep learning curve, the setup is way too difficult to figure out, and the sound quality constantly breaks up during calls. On top of that, the call recording reminder sounds completely robotic, and you have to be really careful using the app on your cell phone because it can accidentally trigger call recording through your regular mobile carrier.

Trying to get ahold of their sales team to reach a settlement and cancel this contract has been a nightmare. The contract lengths are way too long and their customer service is terrible. I definitely do not recommend Dialpad.

Spend several months waiting for…

Spend several months waiting for approval for a2p. They declined it on their end while we were billed waiting for the “carrier approval”. Staff was rude and clueless on most topics. Would avoid the headache of poor customer service and find another solution.

Hello Derek,

Thanks for sharing your experience, and we’re sorry to hear this. We understand how frustrating delays around A2P approval, billing concerns, and a poor support experience can be. This isn’t the experience we want for our customers, and we’d like the opportunity to look into this further and make it right. I've requested your contact information. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Support is non-existent

Support is non-existent. If the ai assistant cannot help you, it transfers you to an agent and the call drops.

The app interface is confusing.

The redirection process was boring and unnecessary

The redirection process was inefficient; I was transferred three times before reaching the correct department. Furthermore, I experienced significant difficulty understanding the representative due to their accent, which impeded effective communication. I suggest prioritizing representatives with greater linguistic clarity to ensure a smoother experience for all customers, regardless of their proficiency level in English, Im not making reference about Sierra that was the last guy that took my call I understood him perfectly I'm talking about the guy before Sierra really confusing accent if your gonna use people with unique accent make sure that that persona is gonna be understood
