Diamond Energy Reviews 

I was just after a reasonable electricity provider & I thought Diamond Energy was OK until I received today's notice of an increase of 65% in the supply charge. Yes, 65%! I have been a customer less than 6 months. Surprised the energy regulator allow such an usurious increase.

Each time I haves contacted diamond energy I am amazed at the staff understanding of my issues. I have found them very polite and extremely helpful.

This is good company. But there customer support is not too good.

Horrible - they took over our electricity account without permission as they mixed us up with our neighbours. After receiving dodgey letters addressed "To the Home Owner" with threats to pay them, they clearly didn't have our personal details. They then turned off our electricity and admitted fault, but gave me a default on my credit report. 7 years later and a mark on my credit rating stopping me investing for 7 years! Finally, the debt came off my credit report and they have come back to threaten me again just this week with a debt collection agency. Still trying to get rid of Diamond Energy, a company I never signed up to or agreed to be with. No contracts exist between the two parties, yet I am punished for years. And the Statute of limitations for debt (which i should never have been given), ignored. Illegal SHAMS.

Great customer service - Mark was very helpful (answered all queries clearly and proactively) and extremely prompt with follow-ups.

We're finally with an energy provider that's competitive and passes on the savings when they can. I feel morally obligated to use renewables when it comes to my energy use, as should all people on this planet, Diamond Energy provides that and keeps it simple. Have recommended to my family and friends.

Very poor install causing damage . The reason for this review is the way that it was handled afterwards . Never return calls and seem not to care at all about fixing the issue

It's been a constant over the years whilst I have been a DE customer, its staff answering calls have been very professional, helpful and patient. I never seem to be in a queue or select 15 options to get through to someone! This is the first time I have provided feedback and am very happy to do so. They all seem enthusiastic and give the perception of being well educated (most sound sub-30!). They always sound like great advocates for the environment and doing the right thing. This enthused answering of calls matches the ethos of the enironmentally-aware energy company - the no.1 reason I have my electricity supply through DE

I'm a long time customer with Diamond Energy. I like to support renewable energy and support companies who work in that direction of creating a sustainable future.
The products at Diamond Energy are very competitive and the customer service is always great, fast and uncomplicated. They also support you in choosing the right product and tariff for your circumstances. I also like their referral program which gives me long term and ongoing discounts on their products.

Minnie helped me understand why my bill was $100 dearer and she also emailed me an article about how to get the most out of my solar panels

I am now clear on one ‘charge’ - the green additional charge. We never needed to pay it. !
I thought it was required for 100% renewable supply, but it is more of a voluntary donation in favour of renewables.

Diamond Energy is one of very few utilities vendors I have praised publicly and recommended privately. Great service from real people who are helpful and informed is a key part of this. Social and environmental awareness seems to genuinely undergird the business. I recommend Diamond Energy. They stand out from the pack of profit focussed providers.

Best provider in the marketplace. Only thing wrong is that they are unavailable to service Boyne Island. very sad!!!!!!

I have now been with Diamond Energy for 6 years. I have always been happy with their feed-in credit, even though it has dropped by 2c, but the discounts I receive make up for that. They have always been very helpful and responsive when I have rung with issues. I say "go away" (not so politely) when those pesky various call centres ring.

I spoke to a very helpful, patient local person. The call was answered by a human within 15 seconds of ringing and receive immediate solution. This attentive human touch is a strong competitive advantage to others. Keep it up. I also love that Diamond Energy provides upto 100% green energy option. This is much needed to help our climate. Will continue the support.
