I received the railing unit right away. I am happy with the purchase. I see everything you have would be the most essential items for a home builder and renovator for large or small and in between projects.

item never arrived. recieved several emails saying attempt was made. it wasnt. i was directed to see the card left to find out how to receive my package. no card was left because no attempted delivery was made. i was home the entire time. i have sent about 10-15 emails requesting assistance. after a week or two i got one reply. i was told to contact the logistics, they then told me to contact the supplier... i paid my money and now it seems i have to work harder than the staff to receive my item. which i sitll don have after 6 weeks - no item and no refend. THIS IS THE WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. they have no number to call or way to speak to a person. do not engage with this company.

Bought a bed with draws. Head board and draws arrived, no frame. They said I have received the two boxes. Yes.. but there must be a third. No one answering my emails. Delivery appalling. Dumped half the bed outside the apartment block post boxes on the busy street. Did not even ring the bell. Only knew it was there as I got an email to say it had been delivered.

Unbeatable service, ordered spare part for vacuum cleaner and it was dispatched next day and delivered on the 3rd day, item was exactly as described. Cannot fault this experience and will definitely purchase from D Smith again

BEWARE of DickSmith somehow AUTOMATICALLY SIGNING YOU UP to their "First Member" membership and CHARGING you $129. I discovered this charge only by accident when going through my Amex charges. I guess this was some sort of sleight of hand when I created an account and shipping address for an order I placed at around this time (my first order with DickSmith—and I assure you, my last). I received nothing from them that would have alerted me to the fact that they had signed me up to, and charged me for, this membership (for example, an email with an invoice, or an email with a welcome to DickSmith "First Member"—no clues whatsoever).

Moreover, NOT ONLY do they AUTOMATICALLY SIGN YOU UP to a "First Member" membership and CHARGE you $129, they AUTOMATICALLY SIGN YOU UP to yearly, auto-renewal of the membership.

Many people would miss such a surreptitious transaction, and looking at some other online reviews, I am not alone in this experience. Utterly outrageous!! Appears deliberate, and therefore, is really a SCAM! I would urge everyone to avoid dicksmith.com.au and any websites associated with the parent company Kogan Australia Pty Limited.

Getting a refund is an ordeal, and their default position is to pro-rate any refund against membership time that has elapsed before you discover it.

I urge anyone caught up in this scam to lodge a complaint with the ACCC, as all the negative online reviews about this scam have had no effect on DickSmith's practices.

Advertised a very similar product to their competitors. Paid for express shipping. 2 weeks after placing order the package still hasn’t left the facility let alone arrived. Don’t waste your time.

My partner and I recently purchased a laptop from D… Smith with no indication it was second-hand or refurbished. Paid the price of a new laptop. Came with the wrong version of Windows (which was also Out of Service and required reinstalling), so I checked whether the disk drive was new - spoiler alert, it’s not, not even close. Second hand with over 13,000 hours of use. Requesting a refund and will be reporting to consumer affairs.

Dodgey as!!!!! Apart from their sneaky subscription system I bought a k18 which clearly is not the real deal and same old story you can only email them and they don’t reply. Very disappointing and out of pocket close to $200 for a hair treatment that isn’t even genuine. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! Never again for me

Worst experience- firstly couldn’t even pay, forced to use PayPal, kept erroring. Should’ve been an omen.
Bought new iphone 17, came scratched in box. Sent 3 enquires for exchange/ return and had no reply. Would never buy from here or Kogan again.

Ordered a pottery wheel (not cheap!) but arrived damaged and unsafe to use. I've requested a replacement but DS and the seller Buzz Box have gone completely silent after providing evidence that the wheel was damaged.
BUYER BEWARE, I'll never use them again and hope you can learn from my mistake...

Trying to contact someone about it, is almost impossible. Everything is done with ChatBots and intelligence systems. These systems are great if you fall within the criteria.

Half order order not delivered however contacted Kogan and supplier didn’t contact me until contacted second time by Kogan

Ordered a gaming PC and a dressing table on the one invoice.
The gaming PC did not turn on. I contacted the seller Pearl laptops direct as my inquiry with DS never went further than an email that they had received my inquiry. Had to go through an hour of troubleshooting and taking a computer apart myself. They finally agreed to give me a refund.
As for the dressing table, only one of the packages was delivered. The main frame was not delivered.
Absolutely hopeless. I would not recommend buying from either DickSmith or Kogan.

I got exactly what I was looking for being kept up to date in the dispatch and delivery process and happy with delivery time

This company knowingly fraudulently took money from my account. I purchased a product and without me knowing or being made aware a field was pre field and selected making me without consent agree to joining a rewards program. DickSmith are know this catches people and rely
on it to raise funds. I am trying to warn as many people as possible. Stay away from DickSmithand any of their associated companies.
